Since roofing is expensive and stressful, I made sure to get four other competitive quotes from other roofers. The price from ASR came out the best with the same specs, but I would still have went with ASR even if they were more expensive, just because of the trust I had in Bryan. Throughout, I got to meet Bryan's father, Frank who has 30 years of roofing experience and was accommodating to my needs such as when I requested protection of my garden during tear-off. I also met Bryans brother Steven during the shingle installation, which reinforced the sense that this was a family business that genuinely cares about the quality of their work. Finally, after the installation was finished, the team still cared very much about passing inspection for permitting and to ensure their reputation is upheld. Even after payment was completed, they continued providing follow-up support when needed, which gave me additional assurances in their commitment to quality. Instead, I was left paying for issues that should have been identified upfront. My advice to future customers: - Make sure they thoroughly review all prior electrical work done in your home. - Ask specifically about permit implications before signing. - Get clear confirmation on who will be onsite and whether they can communicate effectively with you. - Do not assume they will proactively flag electrical conflicts, you may be asked to pay for corrections later. The company is on the expensive side, and I accepted that cost in exchange for what I believed would be a smooth, well-communicated experience. Unfortunately, the communication breakdown and unexpected added costs did not justify the premium pricing. Proceed carefully and ask very detailed questions before committing.

Fast forward to this year -- my wife and I decided to proceed with our roofing project, and so I reached back out to All Pro as well as a few other roofing companies. All Pro's price was again very competitive with the other companies, and Adam took a lot of time to explain the installation process and the difference in shingle options, so we decided to select All Pro as our vendor of choice. His crew removed the old roof in a day, identified and replaced existing wood and facia as necessary, and installed our new Certainteed Presidential TL roof in country grey in about a week. Everyday, his crew thoroughly cleaned up any debris, dirt and nails around the property. This was a huge project with our roof having 17 valleys which required extensive planning and precision installation. The total job cost was in the six-figures. We could not be happier with the outcome. Chris Barnett and Blake Cox were consummate professionals not only leading up to and throughout the job, but afterwards as well. We had some issues relating to the gutters, which were not related to the re-roof itself, but Chris and Blake wanted to make sure that everything worked perfectly and so paid us a visit a few more times after the job was complete and made absolutely sure that the roof channeled water in perfect coordination with the gutter system. I have worked with many roofers throughout my career in property management and Barnett Roofing is the absolute best of them. My project request included the following: -- Front yard update: removing existing grass and cement bar, adding new astroturf, 6x6 cement slab, adding Decomposed Granite garden and 50 Gallon preformed pond. -- My Backyard request was to remove 1 pergola, and dividing wall, new astroturf, Decomposed Granite side and back wall with plant decor, new valves and sprinkler system. Lastly it included adding in an outdoor kitchen. It took less than 2 weeks start to finish M-Sa, and with 6-7 guys each day. I found S&G Roofing when my neighbor had a roof leak. Since my house is the same as my neighbor's I asked Saul to fix whatever my neighbor had. When he was done repairing, he told me that my roof had already leaked. At the time I told them my house was fine. After a few month, I found some evidence of a leak at the bottom of my base board. So Saul was right all along.. Every since that time, I refer a lot of my client's to Saul and he price is very reasonable and most importantly, he always makes time to visit my client's house right the way, unlike most other roofers who simply tells me they are booked for weeks. I needed to discuss replacing the underlayment on my roof or completely replacing the roof. I sent him a message and he called me that same day and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. I asked him about replacing the roof and he immediately said we would save a lot of money by just pulling the existing cement tile and placing a new 50 year underlayment on the roof. He also said the attic would be much cooler, approximately 20 degrees versus using a new asphalt shingle. Well, I agreed with his plan and his quote was very competitive. His comments on the detailed work they provided sealed the deal. Javier and his experienced team arrived one week later to begin the repair and replacement of the underlayment. I was out of town and he notified me later the first day to show me pictures and explain that he needed to replace a lot of the water damaged plywood sheeting. The complete job, which included painting the underside of the new shiplap material was completed in four days.
