I chose Roofwerks b/c of 3 bids, it was one of 2 with the Certainteed shingles and transferrable warranty I wanted to prepare my 23 yr old house to sell. Both of those prices were comparable, but Roofwerks' bid was all-inclusive except for the price of extra sheets of plywood that might have to be replaced (due to rot) after the old shingles were removed to reveal their condition. The other company's bid left the replacement of wall flashings open-ended, saying they would reuse existing flashings where possible and replace as needed for a time and material rate of $4.50 per linear ft. John Sawyer, who had given me my Roofwerks bid, assured me that they replace all flashings and added that he didn't know how the other company could offer the same warranty re-using old flashings. I couldn't have been more pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of all involved on the project. They vigilantly followed the weather forecasts and informed me of everything that was going to happen, particularly making note of any scheduling changes based on weather. They cleaned up at the end of every day, and "swept" several times for nails. Kerry came back to calk my skylights after the crew had left, and after he had put away his ladders I said it was a shame I hadn't thought to ask him to wash the skylights with windex while he was up there. He graciously said he would still be glad to do it, brought his ladder back in, and made those skylights sparkle! My roof looks beautiful and (along with the transferable warranty) will be a selling point for my house. I could not have been more pleased, and I would recommend this company to anyone. read more

Highly recommended!!! We knew that it was definitely time for us to have a new roof put on our house and we had several roofing companies provide us with quotes before selecting Roofwerks to do the job for us. The reason we selected Roofwerks was the fact that they were very professional and one of the owners, Will Hayes, even took time out of his busy schedule to sit down with us and go over our options as well as answer any and all of the questions we had. Will left us with samples so we could take the time to decide which roof we wanted to go with so there was never any pressure for us to make a decision on the spot or even to definitely go with Roofwerks for the job. We just completed about a million dollar contract with Roofwerks to replace the roofs on our 138 townhomes. As chairperson of the roofing committee, I led the bidding process, selection of the contractor, and the actual installation. Roofwerks exceeded our expectations. The two crews were really great.,very hard working, respectful of our property, very accommodating to our requests, and just nice folks to have working in our community. They were well trained and worthy of the excellence award given to ROOFWERKS by GAF, the manufacturer. I met with the on site supervisor every day, he could not have been better at supervising the work and meeting our needs. These observations are not only those of the committee. We had the annual community wide meeting Monday. There was nothing but high praises for Roofwerks and especially the crews by the owners. I would highly recommend Fred Medlin and Roofwerks for any roofing, skylight or gutter repairs or replacement. We had a total roof replacement and 6 skylights replaced. The communication was outstanding, keeping me updated throughout the process and making sure I understood what was happening. The estimate was fair (actually the lowest of the 3 bids I obtained) and everything went exactly as promised. The team did an amazing job of cleaning up their materials after the work was done (which extended into the evening after daylight faded) and I did not find one nail in the driveway or in the grass. Roofwerks did an excellent job on my roof repair. It took us a few back-and-forths before we were able to get an appointment scheduled, but after that, things went incredibly smoothly. The team quickly found the source of the leak (a bad vent on my roof), and told me that they'd have to order the part and come back later to do the actual repair. But instead, when they found they had enough time to do so, they drove to a nearby hardware store, bought a new vent, came back, and installed it, immediately. Given the torrential rains we've been having lately, I was *incredibly* appreciative they went out of their way to do things right. I'd definitely use them in the future. read more

In response to my needed repair to a second story roof leak, Roofwerks has proven to be prompt and dependable. Two days after my call, a crew was out to assess and put a temporary fix to a leak that had caused some damage to my bathroom. Discussion of what was needed to permanently fix the issue and scheduling began soon after as well as the estimate for the repair. The quote was considerably less than I expected! Recently completed a new roof and new gutters. They came over and were very informative on all our options. We got Certainteed Landmark Pro and are very happy- curb appeal has been restored and the gutter crew fixed some rotten soffit and fascia too. They were efficient, timely, and left no trace of debris. They're just different- they take extreme care and communicate constantly. Even our sales rep was there during the whole project, helping to clean up debris and let the neighbors know what was happening.
