Menu food and non alcoholic drinks. Oh and they have red bull variety. April 2026

Food mid. Not bad. Large alcoholic drink selections. I stick to food and non alcoholic. Service is on point. Parking sucks. Uber or carpool is best. Been here at least yearly depends who's in town.

My husband and I went to Rooster T. Feathers for a date night and splurged on the premium seats--totally worth it. The view was excellent, super close to the stage without feeling too in-the-spotlight. If you're debating the upgrade, do it. The comedy lineup was fantastic. Great energy, solid pacing, and nonstop laughs. Rooster's really knows how to book talent, and the intimate setting makes the experience feel personal and engaging. The food, however, was just okay. Not terrible, just a bit limited in variety and flavor--definitely more of a snack-and-a-drink type of spot than a dinner-and-show venue. Luckily, the strong comedy makes up for the weak menu. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely go again (just maybe eat beforehand next time). Perfect spot for a low-key, high-laugh night out.

Came here for the first time recently and appreciated the venue. Nice intimate spot for a comedy show with friends. Definitely try coming early before start time to get orders in. Can be a little distracting in the beginning of the show with the opening acts as the bar staff are in the back making all the drinks. (Noise level). Would definitely check out another show here, though!

I have gone here a few times now since I am on their email list. They offer a free guest list for many shows. The drinks are pretty good. I did not like the cheesecake though and the service is super slow. It had nice ambiance, not too posh but not divey either. Will go back for the good comedy.

Came here with a small group to catch Austin Nasso/the Tech Roast Show guy on April 11. The openers were pretty funny! I'm not a big fan of their two food/drink order minimum, but I got popcorn and a virgin mangonada. I was informed that they didn't have mango flavor so I opted for a watermelon flavor instead (watermelonada?). I asked for no butter in the popcorn but they said that it comes in premade! It was pretty good, the popcorn was cold though. Show itself was entertaining, lots of political jabs at both sides and decent audience interaction. Venue has limited parking and I decided to park at the adjacent strip mall plaza that boasted a larger number of spots. Overall the vibe here is entertaining, I'm not sure if I'd come here for a random comedian/someone I wouldn't know but I definitely got the vibe that this is a well established comedy club that is doing well.

A friend of mine wanted to go to a comedy show and I was excited since this was my first time going to one. I loved the comedians that performed and it was a really good time. I didn't quite like the two item purchase minimum which includes either food or drinks so keep that in mind when booking. The staff was friendly and checked in on us a couple times throughout the show. The venue isn't super big but it did have a more casual feel which was nice.

Just attended a show here to see Matthew Broussard and we had a great time. Rahul and Aurora were also hilarious! The venue seemed newly renovated and fairly clean. It has a cozy vibe to it. They offer a few different snack options: chips and salsa, popcorn, nachos, etc. (ball park food). I had popcorn and it was pretty good, you can tell it is freshly popped because of the smell and sound. They also have a pretty good drink selection. I was DD so I went with hot tea and the waitress brought me a variety of choices. I also found a Yogi tea which was better than the others that were First Street. While the waitress was friendly, service was quite slow. My popcorn didn't arrive the first time I ordered it and when she finally came back I had to ask again. They also say you have to order 2 items online...and no phones during the show. I was scared to take it out to snap pictures of my tea and popcorn but I'm sure you get the idea. Nevertheless, I will be back! I had a great time. Such a fun local spot!

The seating is most around tables which seat 6 people. There was another kind of seating in the back but I didn't pay attention what kind. Food and drink was ok (have to buy 2 items) but the show was a blast. It of course depends on who is in the stage but I had good time. Will go again.

Came here to see all the locals out here compete. I voted for four and two of em were winners. Yay to that and I had a really great time. The place is super clean and the food and drinks are great.

Rooster T Feathers is cool for a low effort evening out to see up and coming or not well-known comedians. Snagged a table for two on the side. Seating is first come, first served with additional chairs in front of tables that other parties may be sitting in. If you're thinking improv and snagging food, just know it's limited. Popcorn, hotdog, nachos, a dessert, or two. They have wine, cocktails, beers, a redbull, and some canned drinks like high noon. We weren't feeling the cocktail menu items, so figured Makers on the rocks and a rum & pineapple juice should be a safe choice. We were there before it got super crowded, but there was one waitstaff running the floor, so just know you may wait a few moments. No big deal. The whiskey was off. Like not quite tasting like Makers, possibly had a lot of ice cubes that melted while waiting for the drink given the size of the pour in the snifter. Anyway, I decided to go canned/bottle drinks after due to that. Checks are brought toward the end of the last act, so if you need to get out, you may want to close out after you buy your 2 item minimum per person. We've gone twice and had a great time with the acts at one show, and the other made us think about whether we want to go again. Definitely need to plan your drinks and food outside of Roosters depending on the vibe for your evening. Oh and parking is street parking nearby. I don't think they have a lot. Don't forget your ID to get in.

Where are the premium seats? I didn't see that option when buying tickets

No Premium seats. First come, first seated. All seats are good as it is a small venue. You sit at tables. If you come early, you can usually request where to sit.

Can I bring my own food?

    No.

So the voicemail says re-opening in 2022? Please confirm. We need comedy!!!!!!!

They just had their job hiring fair yesterday so it seems like it will be soon!

    Are you still open?

YES - we're re-opened! Please come on in and catch a show!

Is this place open now? I couldn't reach them via email or phone and Google says temporarily closed.

We are remodeled and re-open! Please come in and catch a show!

I'm going for the 7 pm show today. How long is it? Their website doesnt say anything about the duration

I would say roughly 2 hours including the openers.

Patrick's professionalism and patience stood out right from the beginning as he waited patiently for all the guests to finish their meals comfortably before starting the show. This thoughtful approach set the tone for a fantastic evening. Once Patrick began his performance, the room transformed into a haven of laughter and amazement. The birthday kids were quite engaged throughout the show. Their captivation was evident. And the parents laughter could be heard from afar. The joy he brought to our celebration was absolutely priceless, creating memories that will last a lifetime. And I cannot thank him enough for this and for making our daughter's birthday party unforgettable. My daughter cannot wait to attend his magical show again hopefully soon at one of her friend's birthday parties.

Once the birthday day arrived he showed up 15 minutes prior so that he could set up and then went right into his performance. He included the birthday boy in part of his performance and he had all 25 children that we had at our party engaged for 45 minutes which if you're around 4 to 6-year-olds often you know how difficult that can be. He also entertained the parents along with them and it was a wonderful performance and we highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a magician to entertain a young captive audience. We absolutely will have him again for our other children's parties as he is priced right and absolute pleasure to have in our home.

Only problem was that it was Friday at 730pm at the Louis B Mayer theater, as in Metro Goldwyn Mayer. Wife bought the tickets expecting me to drive all that way in rush hour traffic, and find the theater at night in unfamiliar surroundings? Yes. Why do you think she married me? Left our house in Sunnyvale at 6:15pm, and 7 miles, 40 minutes and 30+ traffic signals on El Camino Real reached Santa Clara University. LBM theater address is 500 El Camino Real, but that's the address for the whole Santa Clara University. The theater is on the opposite end of the campus, at least a half mile from El Camino Real. All nearby street parking taken, with on campus street parking restricted to vehicles with SCU parking permits. The central parking garage is located near the stadium, but that was completely across campus. Closer parking garage at the corner of Alviso and Franklin St. Take El Camino Real, right on Lafayette, left on Franklin. Took 10 minutes of DWA to find it, at night. Only spaces near the garage entrance are compact spots. Backed into a compact spot, so named as next to a concrete wall. So you are pulling out blind. $5 to park, with you having to enter your license plate number on the receipt. Guess this is to prevent cheapskates from loaning the ticket to a friend for reuse. Parking free after 8pm, but wouldn't you know it, but the show starts at 7:30pm. 5 minute walk from the 4 story parking garage to the theater, the entrance of which is not visible from the street. The usual bag check at the entrance, with hand searches, just like at Disneyland. Sign says no food nor drinks permitted in theater. Ticket electronically scanned. Wife wisely goes to the bathroom before the play starts. Inside a very modern theater, full house, with seating 395-525 depending on configuration, with movable seats up front. 20 rows of seats, two aisles, with stairs going down, and hand railings on the side. Stadium seating at the bleacher area, with your knees at head height of the people in front of you. Great panoramic viewing. Got to stand up to let people get by. One poor dude gets stuck behind a lady wearing a fedora hat the entire show. Francesco Turrisi plays the piano, drums and accordian, while Rhiannon Giddens plays the violin and the banjo. Bluegrass music, Irish ballad music, folk music, instrumentals, and Rhiannon singing. Rhiannon featured on Ken Burns country music, and performed for the Obamas at the White House. Her songs tell stories of historic black womanhood and survival. If it's good enough for Obama, it's good enough for me. Intermission the wife races to the bathrooms, while I take my time. Men's bathroom has 5 urinals and 2 toilets, with line backed up a dozen deep in no time. Women's restrooms have even longer lines. Assume 7 stalls for the women, or at 3 minutes per use, 49 women can be accommodated in the 20 minute intermission. The other 150 women are just going to have to hold it for the 2 hour performance, as the theater was designed for university students age 18-21 with strong bladders. Get back to my seat, just as the college age ladies behind me, remove their bare feet off the top of my seatback. Some people are still learning proper manners. End of the show, get back to the parking garage. Drive out just as the person next to me is backing out, hidden behind a concrete wall between us. Just did avoid meeting by accident, and no it was not an Asian woman driver!

There were also drinks stands selling lemonade and alcoholic beverages (of course, wine). I snacked on some savory filipino empanadas from Tita Weewin's and a delicious sushi taco from Aki (a vendor based in SF). I also perused the amazing variety of merchandise tents and displays lining the streets, including some of the most beautiful collections of artwork I've ever seen, especially one of my faves, CatZooArt as well as as a vendor selling awesome vintage menu art. I enjoyed the live music taking place throughout the festival. I have never heard of this play before, yet my dad and brother knew it very well within the psychologically realm. Lol A very small cast, but so well acted, especially the amazing rant that the character, lucky does was almost like a wrap! I honestly wish I had tape recorded or at least the audio of that because he said so many amazing quotes and Mantras of life. I wish I could've repeated any of them! My brain could not process everything so quickly but goodness well played!! It was a cold overcast day, and the wind picked up, but everything inside the theater was pleasant. I wouldn't mind coming back and seeing a couple other plays especially the musical number ! This particular was about 2 1/2 hours long so at the last 30 minutes of the play, sadly my dad's phone rang since we were late for our dinner reservation! The other 5% were presumably friends of the cast. Basically all the actors were failure-to-launch white guys in their 30s, along with a few plus-sized Hispanic and Asian actresses. One actress was an attractive white girl, which confused me so badly that I assume she must have been somehow blackmailed into being part of the play. Nobody seemed to be having any fun, the laughter felt forced, the costumes and make-up were garish, and the playbill lacked any context for the story. I feel vaguely like I was rubbernecking the end of Western civilization, where young whites (who are a minority of young Americans) put on a half-hearted charade for their grandparents to try and maintain the illusion that the world they lived in still exists. As the Boomers pass away over the next decade, I expect all these local theater companies to shut down. The aforementioned attractive white girl and an acrobatic gay white guy seemed to actually be trying, which I appreciated, but their efforts weren't enough to salvage the play from all the others phoning it in. I'm glad I walked out a half-hour in. I wish I could get my money back. This may have permanently put me off from live theater lol.

I got to meet Kyle, who works sounds at many of the events. He told me about an upcoming show he puts together where he gives away free studio time to up and coming artists. So of course, I had to check out the showcase he organized for his birthday. It was AMAZING. Never have I seen so many black people congregating in Cupertino, or such a professional crowd of musicians mixing and mingling in their creative community. Jeremiah from Rebelskamp was there, and there was a feature show in between open mics where Kyle performed with an impressive new group. It's a crew of rappers and a singer that feels like a 90's rnb and rap group made for a current, grown up audience. Very danceable music. But the whole event really just put Cupertino on the map. It's a space for artists to come to a stage and get love from others in the industry. And they even allow for stand up comedy (you get a WHOLE 7 minutes...that's an eternity in stand up time). Very grateful I decided to get off my couch on a Sunday to see what was going on. I'll definitely check out more events in the future (they are supposed to take place every 2 weeks)!

After bowling on Saturday evening, we hung out in the X Bar to check out the live music and enjoy a…read morecouple drinks. Bar service was slow but friendly. The cocktails here were weak but delicious. The live music event had a listed start time of 7:00pm, but actually started at 8:15pm. Lighting and sound for the show appeared to be in need of improvement, the equipment in the venue not fitting for the environment. Lots of messy exposed cables, what looked like a dangerous setup, the plates on the ground seemingly too small for the giant speakers hanging on the top of the metal truss arch. The sound wasn't terrible, but they were not using all the speakers and subwoofers (and this negatively affected the band's performance, as they couldn't hear themselves). Also, there was no light on the musicians on stage, some of the band members looked like silhouettes throughout the night, and the organizers/technicians didn't seem to know how to fix this. That being said, the decor and lighting on the walls and ceiling, as well as the lights on the DJ booth were quite nice. The atmosphere inside this venue overall was modern and inviting, with lounge seating, high tables, and one pool table. The Dennis Dove Band entertained what was mainly an older crowd, with a range of blues, rnb, and more. They had people on their feet, dancing to songs like I Shot the Sheriff, Tennessee Whiskey, and Wicked Game by Chris Isaak. Great sounds on the guitar, bass, drums, vocals, with guest performers from Eurotrash joining them on stage too. Everything was super casual, seemingly unprepared/unprofessional, late start time, technical difficulties during the show, etc., but we enjoy and appreciate most live music events regardless. Tip: don't order food here, unless you're desperate. It's really bad bowling alley food (see my other review for Homestead Bowl, for more on that).
