Food Rating: 8/10 Price: 9/10 Ambiance/Service: 10/10 Overall Rating: 9/10 Came back again for a birthday dinner. The interior is still really nice, clean, and upscale looking! The service was great! After the overwhelming size of the A5 meat cuts last time, my friends and I opted to stick to the regular cuts. The side dishes are well made and nicely plated, which deserves separate recognition! I am a huge fan of their pickled radish, one of the best I've ever had, thin and perfectly pickled. Ribeye Prime 12oz - $65 Rating: (10/10) Hands down the best cut of meat here, super tender and flavorful. I think the price for the size is also pretty fair. The server grilled this cut to perfection and it was nice of them to carefully cut out the fat before cutting the rest into bite sized pieces. Prime Outside Skirt 6oz - $45 Rating: (9/10) This cut was also great, the marbling was fantastic. Since this cut is usually on the more muscular and tougher end, I think it should be cut thinner and sliced against the grain. The pieces our waiter cut with scissors were a bit large and harder to chew. Bossam - $52 Rating: (5/10) I was not a fan of this dish. The meat was super dry, and a lot of the pieces had the fatty areas separated from the super lean, dry areas, making it difficult to get a good bite. I also thought the dish was made a bit too sweet, almost candied. The napa wraps were made really well, great texture.

Service 5 stars Food 4 stars (could have been 5) Arrived at 6:30 on a Wednesday. Wait time was quoted at 20 minutes, but we were sat in about 5. Menu was a bit confusing, we weren't sure which item to pick to be able to cook at table. Ended up getting bowls of rice, veggies, and meat. Everything tasted really good, but for a place called "10 Butchers" we were expecting more meat. I would guess that maybe there was as max 2 ounces of meat. Service was great, I'm a sucker for the marketing on the silverware pouch and napkin, and our meal was topped off with a free mini ice cream. It was the perfect amount. Really the only disappointment was the meat portion. I'm not kidding, 2 ounces is being generous.

First time. Full house, no one is affected by the inflation.

It was my first time dinning at 10 Butchers Korean BBQ, and the moment you walk through the doors, you forget about how much money you have in your bank account. The atmosphere is impressive enough to make you want to some money. Judging by how packed the restaurant was, nobody else seemed worried either. They must be doing something right. The food was outstanding and matched by equally excellent service. Every dish was high quality and beautifully prepared. Of course, I may be a little biased because I didn't have to pay. Food always tastes even better when someone else picks up the bill. My only disappointment was the restroom. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected a little more luxury. There wasn't the urinal ice I've seen at some high-end restaurants, and there were no extra amenities like floss picks, mouthwash, or premium paper towels. One thing to know before you go: they don't accept same-day reservations, so plan ahead. If you're looking to impress someone--whether it's a date, client, or family member--this is the place. Just be prepared... your wallet may not recover as quickly as your taste buds.

I've been seeing everyone rave about this place so I decided to come here for a birthday celebration. I wasn't a fan of their reservation system. You have to enter how many people and desired date and time online but how do you even know what's available? They have every day and time slot listed. Mine auto rejected via email response a few minutes after submission but it's like a guessing game because you still don't know what's available. I had to eventually call them and they had the entire hour free that I was looking into. The nice thing is when I did show up, I didn't have to wait. I didn't like how nothing was explained to us and the waitress was not very patient, nice, or seemed to like her job, you know, the opposite of what a waiter should be. I was asking her what some of the banchan was and she was irritated or made me feel uncomfortable asking. When the food came I wanted to get some photos of the food but also of the person's birthday we were celebrating. Again, the waitress got irritated. After the photos we didn't realize that they cook your food, again, no one told us. The waitress sprinted to our table and pulled off all the pieces of meat we placed on the grill and scolded us...awkward. I am not sure if you're meant to eat one protein all at once. I've eaten my fair share of KBBQ and Korean food...I've never heard this rule. But I prefer to eat different proteins not just one who order of tongue, then jowl, then short rib...when I asked her to only cook some of the jowl, she got upset again. I'm paying for the food, why am I not allowed to choose what order or how much to eat? She didn't even ask which meat we wanted to eat and would pick for us. Some of the meat was over cooked because she went to another table to cook too long or some were under cooked due to wanting to rush us to the next portion. The food itself was very good. The seasoning and adding onions on it tasted good. No explanation of pink salt and normal salt as your only "sauces" so I was confused there. The tofu soup we ordered came out extremely late and I was already full. There were also a lot of bell peppers in there which I'm not used to and didn't love. I'm bummed that she left the short rib last because that tasted the best but I had no room left in my stomach. Again, wishing I was able to eat different proteins not just one at a time... Honestly not sure if I'd come back. It doesn't make for easy conversation either to have someone come to your table mid conversation every few seconds but also be passive aggressive towards you.

A great place for a la carte kbbq and great quality meat! We didnt have a reservation so took a shot and came early on Sunday around 4:30pm to try for a walk in spot and were able to get a table with no wait! The service was quick and friendly. Banchan and water refills were flowing and they cooked the meat well! Def a good experience that scratched my meat craving

    Side dishes, meats.

First-- it's not an all-you-can-eat KBBQ. It's à la carte. Outstanding quality of meat and service from staff. You have a Korean "auntie" who's grilling it for you and knows how to time it across rare-medium and well-done. Our griller and waitress was Sunny and we've had her twice, and she's the best. The ambiance is typical modern, Silicon Valley vibe: concrete, top 40 music with K-pop mixed in. Inside there's an exposed meat deli prep station, where they're cutting up the meats, and a cocktail gallery at the front to showcase their various cocktails. The prices are high for the amount of meat you get. If you're party of 4, and want to get full, and also enjoy their drinks, be ready to spend at least $500 including tip. The taste difference was pretty minimal from the $110 wagyu and the $60 dollar meats. Again-- I'd go here for a major-ish occasion like a birthday or anniversary/date or closing a client, but not your typical mom and pop Korean restaurant around the corner.

Get ready for some melt-in-your-mout meat! Reservations are highly recommended! The wait could be intense. We ordered 3 selections of meat, an entree and some drinks for a table of two. That along with the banchans were plenty for a nice dinner. The meats were so delicious and high quality. Im really glad the waitress cooked everything for us because I honestly wouldn't trust myself to cook it. It'll probably all be burnt or over cooked if I did it. The spicy cold noodle was also fantastic way to finish out! Reallynglad we got it. The banchan was super meh, so nothing to brag about. Though their salad bowl of scallion and shredded onion was a bit comical. The ice cream was a nice touch. Overall pretty happy with the place. This is one of those "treat yourself" kind of place. So find a nice occasion and get yourself a reservation!

I had an amazing birthday dinner here! In short, this restaurant's high quality, heavenly, melt-in-your-mouth cuts perfectly cooked by grill masters + delicious unlimited banchan + well-made and well-balanced cocktails + great service + beautiful upscale ambiance = nothing short of a 5-star dining experience. I'd highly recommend booking a reservation! We ordered the marinated short ribs, wagyu chuck flap, and wagyu brisket. The beautifully marbled short ribs were without a doubt my favorite and definitely worth the splurge! I was also surprised with how thick and tender the chuck flap was. The brisket is a staple and did not disappoint. 3 meat orders were more than enough for 2 people with a bit of leftovers to take home too. Their lychee martini was yummy and not too strong. Plus, they were kind enough to bring out a cute birthday dessert for me which I really appreciated!

Finally made it to 10 Butchers after having it bookmarked for three years--and these early birthday celebrations are seriously checking off all my bucket list eats. A friend took me out, and this spot has been on both our lists forever. We were seated right away (definitely make a reservation it gets packed!). The space is big, modern, and has that elevated Korean BBQ vibe. Not AYCE, but you're here for premium cuts obviously, it's called 10 Butchers for a reason. The service was next-level. They cook everything for you and are so friendly it really made the whole experience feel seamless and special. And the food... wow. The Wagyu literally melts in your mouth, I was savoring every single bite. The tartare was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and every cut we ordered did not disappoint. I got full way too fast because I couldn't stop eating but at least that meant leftovers! So happy I finally crossed this off my list. Definitely coming back.

On my list of Korean BBQ to go after Cote in NYC and San Ho Wan in SF. The interior has nice modern decor and ambiance for those silicon valley tech workers after a long day of coding. Ordered the boneless US short rib and chapjae. The short rib tasted decent, but not outstanding. Dinner was a bit pricey for one person. I still prefer San Ho Wan over 10 Butchers. Maybe I didn't order the right kind of beef or it wasn't marinated to my taste. I ordered the meat cooked medium well to well done, but there was still a lot of pink after waitress prepared. Was hoping to bump into the Nvidia boss, but he wasn't there, only his picture. Haha Was h

We've been here many times and decided to take an out of town cousin in short notice. Restaurant told us it was too late to reserve but can walk in. The 5 of us arrived at 6:30pm and they said about 45-60 minutes. We sat in the small waiting area and saw multiple groups get seated. It was almost 90 minutes before we got a table. We checked with the hosts several times and grumbled towards the end. When we finally got a table they apologized and said they would give an appetizer on the house. The meats were all delicious and the unlimited refills of banchan were fantastic. Our server/cook was very polite and spoke decent English. One of the relatives who lives in the area but has never come loved it so much she wanted to reserve a table for her son's birthday next month.

This is one of those places you save for special occassions and we did just that and came for early Mother's Day. We had reservations but still had to wait a little while as we had a party of 8. We were seated in 2 separate but adjoining tables. KBBQ Meat - Not just any meat, but high quality and highly graded meat. We ordered 5 out of the 10 cuts and they were all delicious. I also learned they are called 10 Butchers because of the 10 different cuts from the cow. Green Onion Pancake - This served as a good meat palate cleanser. However, if I had known beforehand that they served similar mini pancakes as a side small plate, I wouldn't have ordered this as an appetizer. Wagyu Dumplings with Rice Cake - This was also good to have aside from the KBBQ. The flavor was simple yet comforting. One order is good for 4 people. Banchan - All were great! My personal fave was the yellow dried squid or fish with black sesame seeds. And that mashed purple yam thing was also good. I just wish they told us what each dish was. Like I didn't know what to do with the bowl with apple water? Service - As someone who has been fortunate enough to experience KBBQ in Seoul, this was the closest to it. Having the restaurant staff cook the bbq for you ensures the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.

Came here with some friends on a Monday night for a friends bday dinner. I had been wanting to try this place out for the longest time cus I always drove by it. They are weirdly strict about reservations and will give up your table in 15 mins if you don't have your whole party. We were only waiting on 1 person and were a table for 4...and it wasn't busy so I was like Anyway the ambiance was pretty nice and perfect for a little bday dinner. Intimate but still family friendly. The waiter recommended pork belly, wagyu brisket, wagyu, and the short rib. We ordered the seafood pancake, pork belly, wagyu outside skirt, and Wagyu brisket. They cooked everything for us which was nice, I felt like the meat was good and tender. They gave us plenty of sides and they were all SO good, and gave refills of them as well. I will say I wish the food was a bit spicer but that's just personal preference for me. I had to add a good amount of salt to the meat but no big deal. Since it was our friends birthday they included come dessert for us. The amount of food we ordered was perfect for us. We were all full by the end and felt satisfied. I will say this place is a little more on the high end for kbbq but the quality of meat was good. It was around $170 for 4 people. I would come back for a date night.

10 Butchers Korean BBQ Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - 10 Butchers Korean BBQ

    Are service dogs allowed?

I would call the restaurant as on the day I as there I did not see any. Table set up maybe tight for a service animal that is big.

Can you drop in? or ONLY reservations? They don't answer their phone!

Depends on the day, time and size of your party. This is a popular spot, so I highly recommend reservations.

Do they have any birthday discount?

When I went on my birthday, they didn't do anything special nor did they provide a discount.

Do you cook the food yourself?

You can grill the meat if you want to. But the servers will most likely do everything for you if you don't ask.

Can you please answer the phone? I've called many times during business hours and no one picks up. And the website does not take online reservations. And there is no way to make a reservation via Resy, Open Table or Yelp.

The website takes reservation requests now.

How much do they charge for dinner per person?

It depends on what food you order.

Does the restaurant sit a party of 1 for bbq?

    Yes.

Do you have outdoor seating that allows dogs?

I don't remember having seen any outdoor seating available at the restaurant, could be wrong though.

Can you cater to peanut allergies?

Can't speak to peanut allergy specifically, but they were incredible careful in accommodating a mushroom allergy.

Is this all you can eat?

    No it's not

Is there a separate menu for lunchtime or is it the same menu as dinner time?

    Same menu to my understanding!

Approximately how long does it take for the business to confirm an online reservation?

I remember getting one within a day or two!

What are your hours on Monday 12/26?

Do you always get side dishes?

yes if you order meat. Example if you just ordered an appetizer they wouldn't give you the side dishes

Does someone cook the food for us or do we cook our own meat when we dine in? Because the ones I went to in japan someone cooks it

The wonderful servers are pros and they do cook it for you and then stack it one the side for everyone to attack it…a bit overwhelming at first in terms of which to try first. You’ll have a great time.

Do you allow service 🐕‍ dogs to seat with dine-in guest?

I don't think a restaurant can turn away a certified service dog. They cannot ask you what disability your working dog helps with, but they can ask what tasks the dog performs. I would guess, like any restaurant, having a dog with outdoor seating…

If you have a reservation for 2 do both parties have to be there to be seated?

    Yes !

Is it all you can ear?

No, it's not that kind of Korean restaurant

Do we need to call ahead for reservations for solo dining? I don't see the option on the site for 1 individual.

It is recommended to call in advance to make any reservations for any size

    Is there a Corkage fee?

    Yes. I think it's $25

The bar was pretty busy with groups at all the tables so we had to sit outside on stools at a fold up table. You walk inside to place an order then you get seated at a table. The staff were really nice and gave great recommendations for our group who were beginner wine drinkers. Super cool vibe inside, they even have a disco ball and cute decor. My expectations were already low as I'm not usually into tapas style (aka small portion but expensive and possibly mediocre food) but boy was I wrong. All of the food that we ordered was genuinely so good. I still think about the BUCATINI (tom yum butter, lime, garlic and basil) and would solely come back for that dish. The portion sizes were on the smaller side but it is tapas, we had a group of 8 hungry people so that was on our part lol Overall, would recommend and come back to try some of their other dishes and wine! super cute for date night

Went here for the first time after seeing very good ratings and then ended up going there again…read more The biryanis here are the most tasteful, with the perfect amount of flavor in each layer - and yes there are 3-4 veg biryani options (don't let them chicken biryani folks tell you that veg biryani is pulav). Would suggest asking the restaurant staff about spice level before ordering. Restaurant staff are very pleasant - they could even make a bawling kid stop crying. They also have multiple banquet halls, so if you're looking for an all in one package for hosting an event - they could be a good pick.

I apologized, but one of the staff members called it out loudly in front of the other waiting customers, which felt a bit embarrassing. I believe the situation could have been handled more professionally and privately. Better staff training for situations like this would improve the customer experience. That said, the food itself was absolutely amazing. The buffet had a very large vegetarian selection with plenty of variety, and everything we tried was delicious. The service was a little slow initially when it came to bringing fresh bread (naan, etc.), refilling buffet items, and clearing soiled dishes from the table. However, it improved as the meal went on, and the staff was much better after the initial interaction. One other suggestion is regarding the dining hall temperature. We visited during the summer, and it felt quite warm inside. The door was kept open, but turning on the air conditioning would have made the dining experience much more comfortable. Despite the disappointing start, the excellent food made the visit worthwhile, and I would consider coming back.

So definitely no complaints. The venue itself is great, surprisingly kids friendly (lots of games and things to do), food (primarily Mexican) is excellent, beer and alcohol selection superb, probably a really good place to watch San Jose Sharks games and the Caddy Shack photos in the bathroom was a nice touch. Also, I have to add that ahead of the Super Bowl I called and visited a couple of times, and the staff was very helpful. So overall, very happy with the experience and would highly recommend. Hope to be back again sometime in the future.

Those owners, by the way, knew about the store's impending doom ten days before the fact, yet chose to withhold this knowledge from their employees until the very last day, resulting in 50 people getting blindsided with sudden joblessness. Sounds like this Tipsy Putt was run by some rotten people. Too bad -- the Sunnyvale staff all seemed pretty cool, and I have fond memories of this place.
