After hiking at Carter Caves State Park in Olive Hill, KY we went to Pullman Square in Huntington to Roosters for a great meal. Saige went with Soft Pretzels & cheese and Mozzarella Cheese Sticks with Rootbeer, I had a Tea half cut with lemon& lime Tony 2 draft beers we shared pizza and hot wings.. Deacon had a cheese pizza while Kayla went with Ham& Cheese and Josh had a burger with a side of hot wings. The food was awesome waitress was awesome Definitely going back again!!!

The food here is amazing! The cheese fries are so good, and the servers are so nice. I also love how many TVs they have and how cool the place looks.

The food and service are always amazing and everything is always extremely consistent, which is important. The environment is always super upbeat and happy and I believe I can confidently say these are hands down the best wings anywhere in Charleston and Huntington WV. You can't beat the crisp texture and shear juiciness of the wings, and I really liked the sauces as well, let alone the fact you can mix and match to make your own unique sauce. The wedge salad was massive, think half of a honeydew melon and you'll get the gist. And it was really tasty to boot. And don't forget to purchase a small jar of their ranch dressing! It's $5 and some of the best I've ever had. Hidden Vally has nothing on Roosters Ranch.

Does this plate of dry chips look good to you?

I ordered nachos and I got a dried out bunch of chips. There was not enough of anything. I couldn't eat it. When the waitress came to offer to fix it another person came to tell me I would have to pay extra for enough food to cover the chips. This place is a joke. The waitress was nice though.

We had a nice meal. My Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese was great. It was very filling and just the right kick. I was concerned about how spicy the dish might be so our server offered to bring me a sample of the Buffalo sauce to try. Service was quick and helpful.

The food here is always solid. Blue cheese lovers, they have the best blue cheese dressing on the wedge salad! Overall good bar food. Service is always good. Bar style and clean. Right next to the movie theater and bar arcade, so fantastic location. Also good outdoor seating overlooking Pullman square.

Food--Wings (Hot) an' fried pickle chips were really good! Honestly, the wings remind me of Hooters wings. They're just like 'em. The hot sauce is awesome. The pickles chips were huge an' fried to perfection. The homemade ranch was some of the best I've ever had. Ambiance-- Great atmosphere, lots of TVs to watch your favorite sporting event. Filled with like minded sports nuts. Environment--Cleanliness was fine, well maintained an' what you'd expect from any restaurant selling an' serving food to customers. Service--I hate to say this, but service was below par. Victoria wasn't very attentive or engaging. She got our orders right, it's just that she seemed lost the whole time. Maybe she was just havin' a bad day. Cost--What I paid was reasonable for a couple beers an' two appetizers. Not bad at all.

It was our lucky day this 1 st day of August. Weather was nice and Emma served us our drinks from the patio bar area and we were entertained by a very good guitar player. Service was great and the other tables had ordered food from the menu which is prepared from the Sports Bar cook. So we know that it was good since we have tasted it before. Thank you Emma it was nice meeting you today.

Could literally see her standing behind the bar talking to who turned out to be the "bar manager" a joke if you want to call her that. I walked up to the bar and asked if we could speak to a manger and "logan" informed us she was infact the manager. She was very snappy from the jump. She then pretty much told me and I quote "if you don't like it you can always leave." In reference to me complaining about bad service, and undercooked meat... a few days later I was with some buddy's and informed them.. just for me to be told by them they SPECIFICALLY avoid the bar when logan's behind it! guess I missed the memo! Went there for fun and for pool and overall just a terrible experience when I was hoping for more. Even the beer sucked as the glasses weren't chilled. worst sports bar ever.

My…read moretop-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I stopped by here for dinner last Wednesday on a pretty muggy, rainy evening on our way from the SE Appalachia section of KY to Irvine, KY. It was conveniently located right off 15, and despite the meh weather, the place was easy to spot largely because there were a lot of cars in the parking lot - a compliment to the restaurant and its food, or the only game in town? Based on our experience, probably a little bit of both. Definitely does have the roadhouse vibes; it's very spacious and kind of dark in there, with a bar to the right of the entrance and the vast majority of the acreage dedicated to a large dining area on the left. We were seated immediately and after the meal took advantage of the cool map situation by the bathrooms where, if you requested a pushpin from one of the employees, you placed it on the map to show where you came from. Already oodles of NJ representatives on there, which is unsurprising. The random North Dakota pushpin was a bit of a shock, but I guess they travel too. The menu was pretty large but I was immediately drawn to the Fried Catfish w/ Hush Puppies entree, along with the tater skins app, which our waitress went out of her way to compliment. The Catfish was decent; as you can see from the accompanying picture, it was a huge portion and I took a sizeable chunk of it to go (where I think I eventually threw it out because it's not really road trip friendly). Coincidentally (or not, given where we were in the country) I'd had some hush puppies the night before at a hotel in Blacksburg, VA, and these were better. Those others were over-fried but also had mac and cheese stuffed in them, so these basically had better texture but not as much flavor. The mac and cheese was a real low point, unfortunately. Not dissimilar to the hush puppies, they were super tasteless and a bit watery. They had a bit of breading/crumb topping, but it really didn't do anything to improve the situation - definitely something for them to work on. The taters were just okay; usually the issue with them is that they're in the deep fryer for too long (which is not an issue for a lot of people, I suspect), but these I thought actually weren't cooked enough. The interiors were a little tough so the potatoes could have used a little more time in the oven or fryer. Service was solid. Our waitress was very nice and happily contributed her thoughts/opinions on different items of the menu, which my chum loves to seek out when we're in a new, unfamiliar place. I was starting to get a little tired by this point in the day so it was nice to have efficient, quick turnaround times for everything. The prices were decent as well, which probably isn't too surprising given that we were still pretty far away from Lexington and other, more populated areas. This was fine for what it is, and my preference is always to go local when you're traveling through small town USA in lieu of the chains. This wasn't incredible, but we enjoyed our time here and left a literal physical reminder of our time here with the aforementioned pushpin.
