This is a great chain with a great neighborhood feel. Thstaff is amazing and had been around for a bit so we know that means more than something these days. The food is a great deal for both lunch and dinner. A great and eclectic friendly group of regulars and an overall good vibe. The food is a great value and that makes it a favorite for my family and I at least a couple of times a month.

My family found ourselves hungry and near Roosters on a Friday night. We took a chance for quick seating and got lucky with an opening within 5-10 minutes. Roosters, all locations, has an awkward build. For a restaurant that is popular with families and those that like to watch sports games, they have zero waiting space. I enjoyed my fried tenders. Two is enough! Sweet chili Thai sauce is my favorite and I'm wimpy with heat. I tried their chicken noodle soup (first time). It was thicker like chicken and dumplings and flavorful. Warning for those that dislike pepper - it's heavy on it! Adding crackers helped to tone down the pepper. We had a fantastic server. She immediately dispelled my statement of service at Roosters always being subpar. She had regulars in her section and that made sense. If this was my closest Roosters I'd ask for her too. I noticed a Meeting Room section that is somewhat blocked from the main seating. You might check how reservations are made there for larger groups. Tons of TVs. Sports bar feel. Always packed. Plenty of parking. Service is touch and go. Loud. Chicken tenders rank in the Top 3 in town for me. Ala carte menu from main entree to sides.

I want to start by saying Becky has the best customer service and was an amazing waitress. She was prompt, caring, gave good advice on food to eat and insight on what to do around there. We had a large party of 15, since we brought our volleyball team, coming back from the tournament we played in downtown. Having all those young ladies in the party on top of the needs and requests we had, I give her major props. I had the traditional wings which I did not expect to be so large. For the price, this was a large portion and well worth the money. We also had the pizza which I heard was delicious, but I was too full to indulge. For appetizers we tried the nachos, fried pickles, tater tots, fried mushrooms and garlic cheese bread. My favorite BY FAR was the cheese bread. Some of the pieces were perfectly cheesy and with the marinara it hit the spot. I would highly recommend some traditional wings, cheese bread and for alcohol the rooster punch. You will not regret it!

I loved this place. I had seen it a few times going past and I'll definitely be going back. Service was very fast and accommodated anything I needed. It's similar in dining style to a Buffalo Wild Wings or Brick House Tavern but Rooster's is more of a regular visit establishment. Prices weren't crazy, I could get my whole meal for under $15. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich with The Works, Bacon, and Pepperjack Cheese. They give you options to what you can have on your sandwich, that's always a great thing to see. It was crunchy, juicy, and had plenty of flavor. It wasn't overly soaked and all the toppings stayed in place. The Tater Tots were good but they were even better when I air fried them. They needed a little bit of salt and pepper. I'll definitely get them again.

College game day afternoon lunch we expected a possible wait. We were pleasantly surprised one of the last tables. Friendly host. Seated a quickly greeted by a smiling face. I wish I could remember her name because she was great. Our seats offered many TVs for viewing, accurately I counted 21 TVs which gave us a few more programs of interest. Drinks started with two draft Blue moons in mugs with a juicy orange wedge. Food was the usual pub menu. We shared a generous salad of crisp greens and fresh toppings. Boneless wings and tenders I get it plenty of tender chicken. All crust was crisp as expected. Our great server checked on us to refill our water glasses. We were given plenty of time to enjoy the game. Location is less than a year old and appears to be on pace for success. Atmosphere casual a bit noisy which was expected. It is a sports bar. Facilities were clean and well organized. Lot parking with plenty of over flow parking. Full bar with seating.

If you're looking for a great patio to sit out on and enjoy a relaxed dinner this is a great spot! Ordered the Roosters Nest for an appetizer, curly fries, chicken, cheese, jalapeños, and tomatoes. It was good but on the patio didn't stay warm long but that's on us. For appetizers we went with a Buffalo pizza, which has huge chunks of Buffalo chicken and blue cheese crumbles and a quarter lb burger with the works. The burger was so good, on the buttered toasted bun, highly recommend getting it with the works. Overall a good meal and good service! Will be back to enjoy the patio in the future.

Very cute house limited parking very unassuming neighbourhood to a out-of-town. Client service was fantastic. Everyone was so pleasant. Food selection was great. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we got the meatballs, the Arancini balls, oysters, kids pasta and three pizzas. The meatballs came with its own pita homemade delicious. Honestly, it would come back just for that. Of course had to get the tiramisu for dessert even though we were so full and it was so good. Super comparable to pizza and food in Toronto honestly, I was so happy great way to end my two week trip

Tucked away on Frankfort Avenue, it's a little off the beaten path, and parking can be an adventure. There's a small lot by the restaurant with overflow parking further down the hill. Somehow we managed to snag the only open space right outside the front door, which felt like winning a very specific Louisville lottery. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the place was already buzzing. It was packed with locals, which is usually a good sign. While our table was being bussed, three different employees checked to make sure we were being helped. We let them know we were just a little early and waiting on our table, but it spoke volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a neighbourhood pizza spot: relaxed, lively, and unpretentious. The soundtrack quietly floating through the speakers was a crate-digger's delight, full of songs that have been sampled throughout hip-hop history. Hearing Lynn Collins' Think (About It) while waiting for dinner felt particularly apt following the recent passing of Rob Base. The song's iconic break became the foundation of It Takes Two, one of hip-hop's most recognisable records, and it was a nice reminder of how deeply great music connects generations. To start, we ordered the Olives & Togarashi, a bowl of Castelvetrano olives coated in a wonderfully aromatic blend of spices with notes of fennel, sesame and citrus. My son tried his first olive and was genuinely shocked by the flavour. He'll come around eventually. For the main event, we ordered three large pizzas: the DOP Margherita, the Funghi and the Original Sting. The DOP Margherita showcases imported buffalo mozzarella from Campania alongside basil and San Marzano tomatoes. The Funghi is loaded with an incredible blend of mushrooms, taleggio, pecorino cream and mozzarella. The Original Sting combines soppressata, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and spicy local honey in a sweet-and-savoury combination that completely works. Now, let's talk about the crust. It is perfect. Pillowy and light, yet substantial enough to give you that satisfying chew. The wood-fired oven creates just the right amount of charred bubbling around the edges. Our server offered house-made ranch and other dipping sauces for the crust, but we politely declined. This pizza doesn't need any enhancers. The balance of flavours across all three pies was exceptional. I've eaten pizza all over the world, and Pizza Lupo belongs in that conversation. It really is that good. We had a plan: sample all three pizzas and leave just enough room to split the tiramisu. Thankfully, we stuck to it. The tiramisu was fresh, light and beautifully balanced. Not overly sweet, nicely moist, with just enough espresso flavour coming through. It was the perfect finish to an outstanding meal. The service was fast without feeling rushed, friendly without feeling scripted, and genuine throughout the evening. We left full, not bloated, and happy as spring lambs, already talking about what we'd order next time. We'll defo be back. Cheers, Sam

My book club met at Impellizzeri's this week, and upon discovering several of us have dietary limitations, the server and kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure our ongoing health. A wonderful kitchen wizard ventured out into the dining room to talk to us personally, and confirmed that all the traditional pizza doughs, pastas, and red sauces are vegan. He offered to create a custom pasta dish with a variety of vegetables (spaghetti pomarola with garlic, spinach, and mushrooms), and ensured that the breadsticks that accompany the pasta dish (traditionally made with garlic butter and cheese) were vegan, prepared in a separate location in the kitchen to ensure no dairy contamination. For those with other food allergies and intolerances they ensured every detail was correct, even noticing that a pizza that was inadvertently prepared with an offending food item, and remaking it before it was even finished baking. Pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quantity and the truly excellent service, which is what truly made the experience special. My pasta dish was tasty. Is it the best pasta I've ever had? No - but it wasn't trying to be. What Impellizzeri's does well is serve good food at reasonable prices, in a location and with people who have an eye for detail and a passion for excellent customer service. Well done.

This is a terrific deal, plus it makes us get out of our rut at eating at our favorite place all the time. I will be honest, I have not been to Impellizerri's in years. We've been to Italy and Italian Switzerland many times and love their very thin, fold in your hand pies which have fresh tomato sauce and flavorful local cheese. I was hopeful- Impelliizeris had a thin crust option! Unfortunately, it was as disappointing as I remember. The crust is too doughy, the sauce is bland and the cheese was thick and tasteless. We didn't even eat our leftovers. I don't understand why so many like this, perhaps I should order something else if I return. Just a no from us!
