Service was horrible told me I couldn't get the pizza I wanted because it wasn't already made and my dads spaghetti looked like it was thrown together and cheese not even melted. Used to love this place but it's awful now.

I can't believe this is my first review for Old School! We love coming here, specifically to this location. The staff is always super nice & outgoing. It's never too crowded. So we are always able to find a seat at the bar in front of their TVs to watch basketball or football. It has a very chill pizza joint vibe. The pizza is always delicious. You can get by the slice - they always have 6+ pizzas available for their "by the slice." We love to get order an 18" pizza - half & half. Their BBQ pizza is AMAZING. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

Better than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's. I've always played it safe with Papa John's or Domino's, but Old School NY Pizza has them beat. Best pizza I have ever had. Just heard of them this year and have had them 7 times or so since then. Have tried a different pizza types every time I've gone and they're consistently amazing.

Hi, stop by and wanted to get a slice of pizza to give this spot a try. I walked in I was greeted counter. I ordered one pepperoni slice. It was four dollars and some change which I thought was rather expensive for just a slice of pizza. I have been in New York and I've had many of their dollar slices that were bigger and just as tasty. The pizza itself was good. I did enjoy it but I'm gonna give it a three stars because as I said, I think for the price it's not gonna do the job

    Yes. Perfectly thin!

    Any gluten free pizza options?

Sorry we do not offer that option. We make our dough fresh everyday so there is always flour in the air and on surfaces which would contaminate gluten free crusts and we do not want to expose customers to gluten that medically can’t have it. Seeing…

We all drank water, soda or tea and they kept our glasses filled. We ordered the pork chop dinner that came with risotto and vegetables. My husband loved the veggies and risotto but was not thrilled with the chop. He wishes he would have asked for a steak knife as it was difficult to cut with the butter knife provided. It was tender enough but neither of us cared for the flavor. I had the Primavera. It was a bit bland. I had to salt it several times. Our favorite part of the meal was dessert. We had a piece of lemoncello cake that was flavorful, creamy and light. We both thought it was great. We had about $20 left on our gift card and were disappointed we couldn't use the balance as the tip. So we ordered two more desserts to bring home to use the balance of the gift card. We brought homemade a piece of Italian cream cake that was as good or better than the lemoncello cake and it was a huge piece of cake. We also have a piece of caramel sea salt cheesecake which was pretty good. It was loud in the small space and a bit difficult to have a conversation across the table. The background music did not help with this issue. The staff were friendly and helpful boxing up our leftovers. Tables have white cloth tablecloths and the owner was making rounds to greet all the patrons which was nice. We discovered there is parking in the back of the restaurant, as so many of the spaces in the area have signs indicating you will be towed if you park there. We had to park on the street about a block down.

The atmosphere is really fun and unique, and there were definitely things we enjoyed. My husband got the chicken Parmesan and I kept stealing bites because his was so good! I ordered the special that night, which was the $27 cacio e pepe on orecchiette with sausage, and it came with a salad and wine. The salad was really good, but unfortunately the pasta was way too salty and a little bland for me. I probably should have said something, but I didn't, so that part is on me. I just felt bad wasting it! The service wasn't bad at all, but the overall experience felt a little rushed. Since we were celebrating two pretty special occasions, I think we were hoping for more of a relaxed, sit-and-enjoy-it kind of evening. We never really had a chance to settle in before it felt like everything was moving along pretty quickly. They also bring out a wine sample at the beginning of the meal, which I loved, and it was delicious. We'll definitely go back at some point. I'd just order something different next time and hopefully have a more relaxed experience.
