Not the best if you have any questions though. We ordered the tenders with fries and Large Loaded Fries Crispy fries. They come with creamy mac & cheese, topped with two tenders chopped into bite-sized pieces, and topped with their Rooster's Sauce. When I return, I would order the one order of the loaded fries. The ambiance is very order and go - bareburger meets Chick-fil-A. The staff behind the counter were hospitable and kind. They were even singing as they were listening to music. During our wait, a steady stream of Uber Eats and Doordash orders were getting prioritized before the dine-in orders, so the small seating area was crowded by drivers waiting for pick up. Meanwhile, seating was pretty limited since the dine-in orders were not prioritized, so a lot of people were sitting at tables without any food. We got the tenders, wings, and the fried pickles. Overall the service was quick and the workers were very nice. The mild version is fairly spicy, and the medium is even hotter. Keep this in mind when selecting a spice level! The fried pickles were a welcome surprise, but very salty. I found myself guzzling water the rest of the night. Overall the breading is excellent and the Rooster sauce is delicious. Honestly, the fries were the best part of this meal! They were perfectly crisp on the outside while still being soft on the inside. My only issue with this place is the price. Spent about $20 each for the meal which is a lot for a quick-service place. I'm not the biggest hot chicken fan so I'm not sure if I will be back anytime soon, but it's a good place to have in my back pocket in case I go to more concerts at the Wellmont! read more

This place is nasty, my first time there was 3 days ago 1/9/25. I purchased a meal for a family member and he said the food was decent, so we ordered it again the next day as a pre-dinner appetizer. We reheated the food in our air fryer for sanitary reasons, but when we found a hair in the bag we throw it away. When we called to complain the manager was indignant, unprofessional, and incompetent. After trying to reason with her I hung up and she called me back to harass me, and provoke an argument. And when I threatened to write a review she then tried to resolve my issue, I opted to get a free meal at a later date. However, she continued her rant by trying to justify Rooster's Nashville Hot Chicken food safety issues. And because this manager was so belligerent, I told the her that I will not be coming back to RNHC restaurant and that I wanted my money back. When I went to get my refund she held it hostage so that she could continue her rant, again, trying to justify the unsanitary condition and presentation of my food order. I told her that we can agree to disagree and she continued talking making no sense, and telling me that me and my family member was banned from the restaurant. I thought she was crazy because I just told her (10 min earlier) on the phone that we were NEVER coming back. The fact is that the food was in an unsanitary container, and they tried to hide it by stapling the bag completely shut. None of the staff members wear gloves, hairnets, or mask. I've been on at least a year long hot chicken journey - trying to find the best spot in NJ as they continue to pop up everywhere. This one is in a great location with street parking available nearby. Service was pretty standard as well. As for the food - compared to the other hot chicken spots this place is good, but doesn't stand out. I ordered mild which tasted like naked and my bf ordered extra hot which tasted like medium. They also don't have a chicken sandwich option which was super surprising. The sliders were good but felt like an appetizer at chilis - I realized it's because all they sell are tenders so they just put those on a tiny bun to match the size. I hope they add a sandwich soon! They also let you get one sauce with the chicken so I asked for ranch which came in a pre packaged Heinz tub, I thought they would have their own homemade sauces at least. They had this chipotle mayo type dip that was delish, wish they gave more of that instead. The Mac and cheese was delicious too, but again a bit small of a portion for the price.
