I wanted someone more experienced with eyebrow threading and though they were technically experienced since a young age, they are not what I'm used to for threading. I usually know pretty quickly if it will be good or not. I specifically asked ahead of time if they pluck as well as thread because if the answer is yes then they aren't the place for me. The answer I got was "I will do whatever you like honey." I assumed this meant they would not do it. Started off smooth but at the midway point she showed me how they looked and I was mortified. I said okay and the said she was then going to pluck! I felt at her mercy by this point because I needed her to fix them. My eyebrows were uneven in thickness at the ends and rounded out on the part above my eyelid. Everyone in my life was able to notice. Unfortunately, if threading is a service you regularly get every 2-3 weeks, I do not recommend this place.

Maria goes back and forth splitting her attention from one customer to the next. She will stop mid cut to go color another customers hair. She does not listen to what you want, she gets an idea in her head of what haircut you should have and does what she wants without even consulting you. I wanted a simple bob and I almost ended up with a pixie. My hair is uneven and sticking up at funny angles in the back which will take months to grow out. Maria is not only inconsiderate but she is also incompetent. If your hair is textured and you want someone to accommodate your needs do not get your haircut at this salon.

I read my Kindle for most of the appointment but she did ask me during the massage to put it down and just enjoy. I really appreciated that and just about fell asleep! My toes looked great and it was reasonably priced. The entire shop was clean and well appointed.
