After an afternoon of wine tasting we were ready for dinner. Our friends suggested Rosa Linda's as they had been here recently and liked it. I've lived nearby for 30 years and have never been here. They serve very light & crispy tortilla chips w/pico salsa. It was pretty mild so we asked for something spicier. It was a blended salsa in a bottle which had more of a kick and was flavorful. I ordered the 2-item combo of a chilé Colorado enchilada and a chile verde burrito. Large portion, tasty.Hubby had chicken fajitas, our friends had chicken tortilla soup & chicken tacos. I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito through DoorDash from Rosalinda's in Fresno ($14.95) and requested no sour cream and no cheese. The burrito arrived with both. I'm allergic to dairy, so I couldn't eat it at all. DoorDash only refunded about $3-4. I called the restaurant twice and was told the manager would follow up. She did call once, but after I returned the call and left two messages on Friday, I never heard back. It's now Monday night. I don't even know where to start, it was that bad. We went there on 10/9, to take our friend out for his Birthday dinner. Sat out on the patio, Waitress was nice. She took our order, it took over and hour to get our food. The place is not that big, and hour! In that time we never saw our waitress, no " Sorry for the delay". A couple sitting across from us, asked how long we had been there, because they had been waiting too. The gentleman got up to get his drink refilled, because no waitress. The bad part was you could see them inside behind the counter chatting away. The food finally arrives, I got the Selma Special - two steak taco's - The beans had the consistency of putty Rice was dry, and I mean dry. The taco shells crumbled when you bit into them. None of it had any favor at all. We all came to the same agreement - NO FAVOR. We all had food left and didn't take any of it home. We had to get up and get the waitress for refills and everything else, and so did the tables around us. Second time there, (I knew better, than to go back), the food was bad the first time. Came here for the first time, staff were friendly and helpful with menu options. The salad... the veggies were grilled to perfection and really tasty. The shrimp however were over cooked. Overall not a bad salad, if I had guacamole, salsa and sour cream, it would have been better. We used to go to the Selma location when we lived in Hanford. Today, we has a nice family meal here for late afternoon lunch. The menu is large enough and has options for everyone. The chips need to win an award by themselves. They generously gave us 3 baskets. Amelia gave us outstanding service and customized our orders, making it easy and special. I had two delicious homemade margaritas with extra lime, and it didn't break the bank. $8/margarita won my heart. We loved the outside covered patio, and my daughter loved the warm interior with cheerful colors. We will be back soon. read more

I had the albondigas was not bad. We had to ask for chips, which I believe was supposed to be complimentary (we were not charged for it). The chips were also decent, but the salsa lacked flavor. We got seated at the only table available inside Small table for two. The meal: The enchilada flavor was good ground beef but kind of watery it just went all over the place. The crispy taco I did not like the taco shell it was fried but it felt like it was a day old you know kind of tough not crispy the should it be with okay. The chile Relleno nothing to brag about. Ordered the flan, mole poblano plate, and a side of chips through doordash. The mole sauce appeared to be that bottled stuff. It had no flavor. The chicken was a thin cutlet of white breast chicken cooked on a flat top grill and not braised in the sauce. It just had the sauce poured over it. It was overcooked and tough and I couldn't finish it. The chips were bizarrely made from flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas, which made them too delicate. Rice was mediocre. Beans were okay. Flan was good. Disappointing. I was excited to order mole poblano as it's not often available from Mexican restaurants in town. But if you're not going to do it well you'd be better off leaving it off the menu altogether. read more

The dude and I came to Rosa Linda's on 5/09/21 as the Fresno Breakfast House was SO packed and we decided to walk around the plaza to see what other options there are and stumbled upon this place. The patio and spa like water fountain is what drew us in. I am a sucker for Mexican but not ANY it has to be GOOD so I am picky when it comes to this cuisine 100%. I know good food. At first I was hesitant because it was pretty empty but we took our chances as we didn't want to wait long hours especially since I had places I needed to be. We entered and was greeted my a young gal who was very bubbly and friendly. She instructed us to grab menus and self seat ourselves anywhere we like inside or outside. The dude wanted the best spot in the house by the water fountain which was really romantic, refreshing and the air was cool! Our server came out a few minutes later to check on us. I ordered their wine-a-rita blended. It felt like we were waiting forever for my drink about 30 minutes. She came back with chips and salsa and informed me my drink would be ready in a few minutes. She took our order as with the long wait we were ready. The dude ordered the fajitas which came with asada, shrimp and chicken with corn tortillas. We got the chorizo fondito and I ended up getting a combo plate with corn tortillas. My plate I picked the Green Chicken Enchiladas, Chile Rellano and it came with beans and rice. My Green Chicken enchiladas were probably the best enchiladas I had a Resturaunt in a LONG time!! The beans and rice were so flavorful and delicious plus the corn tortillas were HOMEMADE FRESH delicious!! Very tasty. 9.89/10 for the food it was delicious. The dude LOVED his meal! I thought the fajitas needed more seasoning but the dude said they were well seasoned and it seriously smelled delicious. No rating as I really didn't taste the full meal but the dude said he would recommend it. My Wine Margarita was good 7/10 as it was good but definitely too icy. I need to use a spoon to eat it as it was very frozen. The staff apologized for the long wait and shared with us she was swamped with To-go orders as their phone was ringing off the hook which I honestly believed as she looked pretty overwhelmed and more and more people were coming -- almost all tables inside and outside were getting filled. We let her know we understand and the quality will of the food definitely made up for it in heart beat. The chips are fresh and homemade definitely addictive, the salsa was delicious and tasty and the cheese fonditito with pork chorizo was tasty!! We were definitely surprised of this hidden gem and impressed with how good the food was! I am hoping people from Fresno Breakfast House don't want to wait can gladly walk over to Rosa Linda's like we did and fall in love with their food. We were so happy to find out they have a location in Clovis so we will be giving them a try soon. Although the wait for food and drink was ridiculous we still left happy and the staff definitely appeared genuine. Please give this place a try you won't be disappointed at all. My daughter invited me to late lunch there last week. It was very slow and the service was off. My granddaughter ordered a bean burrito. More like a taco size. The chips and salsa ran out fast. Still love those Selma Tacos, but I've found something else to love, too! The concha is fantastic! I have them add shredded beef, then I top it with some of that amazing Pico de Gallo style salsa and I am one happy camper! We happened to be in the area and ate here out on a whim. To be completely honest, I have had better Mexican food in Fresno. However, that's not to say that Rosa Linda's isn't good because it definitely is! We came here for lunch and had a great experience. The service was prompt, and our food came out hot and quickly. My husband and I have been coming here for a long time. It had always been good and consistent. The waitresses knew us, were friendly and attentive. We went last night and the nice waitresses are gone, the salsa wasn't as good as it usually is and the service was lacking. I asked for a corona with lime, all I got was the corona in a bottle. Didn't ask if i wanted chilled glass. Had to ask for napkins and silverware and my lime. The salsa tasted funny and didn't look fresh. In the past the salsa was always really good! The waitresses acted like they did not want to be there. In a town where Mexican restaurants are on every corner they need to do better. I will give it one more shot. My bride and I went here tonight for dinner. This was our first time here. We have heard a lot of great things about this place. The place was not too busy when we arrived. We got a table right away. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. We were provided chips and salsa, and they were fantastic. My bride ordered enchiladas and I ordered fajitas. They were both wonderful. I must point out that the staff is exceptional. My drink was never empty, our chips and salsa was always full, and she came back regularly to check on us. I kick myself in the ass that I have not tried this place sooner. I believe that this is now our favorite Mexican food place, and it is right by our house!!! I will be back. Worst service ever!! The waiter Luis R took our order and my wife ordered Chile Riano and a quesadilla for my daughter, I ordered Flautas and asked me if I wanted rice and beans with that. I thought $16.00 for two tiny flautas was a little pricy but if I left off the rice and beans it might be a little more reasonable if I ordered alacarte . The waiter brought out my Flautas and asked my wife if she wanted anything to eat. A real genius !! So my wife ordered her Chile Riano and my daughters quesadilla again then we waited another 15 minutes for the food while my Flautas got cold . We were charged full price for the Flautas as Louis inform us there is no À la cart. I guess he just wanted my rice and beans . Not sure why he would ask if I wanted something that already came with the meal. In summary the food was not bad just really overpriced and amazingly poor service. Shredded beef is tasty, though they need to use fresher tortillas for their tacos, as the taco shell didn't taste fresh. Other than that Rosa Linda's is a great place for Mexican food.
