Very nice and low key place. You can choose to sit inside or outside. It was really busy during the lunch hour. The workers were nice, welcoming and easy to talk to. Asked what was most popular and relatively healthy my waiter recommended the concha. Vegetarian that had lots of veggies or grilled chicken. I asked if I could have the grilled chicken and veggies and he said of course! They also provide chips and salsa from the time you walk in. The atmosphere is very calm and quaint. Even with it being very busy! My order took awhile, but the wait was worth it! The chicken and veggie concha was really delicious! Wished there was a little more chicken, but it was so darn good! The hotter the better for me. Asked the waiter for hot sauce and he brought 2. The salsas were really good and made the lunch even better! The service was really great! Delicious food! My husband and I just left Rosa Linda's for the first time and we were surprised how tasty our food was. We've been living in this neighborhood for 7 years now and it's hard to find good Mexican food in the area. I'm just mad we've waited so long to finally try them out. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with beans and rice and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. We're picky about our beans and rice and we could tell they were both freshly made. Beans tasted as if they were just made and rice was nice and fluffy. My husband ordered the tamales which he also enjoyed. Oh and our server was awesome! (Sorry, I forgot to get his name) He suggested I try the strawberry wine margarita and am glad he did because it was delicious. We'll definitely be returning in the near future. read more

We had been here in the past and this visit was horrible. I had a fish taco that was not nearly as good as last time (cooked too long, toppings scarce) and husband ordered a shrimp enchilada. What he received was a really bad shrimp taco - way overdone, chewy shrimp in a stale, old shell. The bill was $35 for two tacos and two ice teas. I understand things are tough these days, but why pay for mediocre crap? The server was more interested in gossiping with the cook is probably why it took 25 minutes when there was no one else in the place. She also messed up the order despite us telling her twice he wanted an enchilada yet got a taco. We will never be back. read more

I was in the food delivery industry full time from 2017 to 2020, and part time up until December, 2022, and had picked up orders from this restaurant many times as it was very popular. The staff was always friendly (still are) and the food always smelled amazing which made me want to try it but because they close kinda early and I worked late I was never able to. I decided to try it yesterday and placed my order online. My order was ready when promised and I had to order my chips and salsa at the restaurant because the website wouldn't let me order them for some reason. I ordered the chicken fajita chimichanga and when I took the first bite it was soaked in grease. I decided to skip eating the edge areas and dug into the middle section and was disappointed to find more grease. The chicken and fajita filling lacked flavor. The beans were just beans, nothing exciting. The rice also lacked flavor and the chips and salsa were just meh. The chips had no salt or seasoning on them, were kinda stale and the salsa (pico de gallo) was basically tomatoes and jalapenos with no seasoning to it. Talk about going from elated to deflated. I spent $20 on a meal I ended up not eating I might possibly be willing to try it again, but obviously a different entree choice. I just wish I could get my money back or some credit so I can try a different entree. read more

A pleasant small neighborhood spot with very nice service. I just wish the food was better. Everything that I have had (enchilada, chile relleno, tostada) has been quite bland. I hate to leave this review because we love this restaurant but I ordered takeout for the first time tonight and it was the absolute worst. I ordered the large albondiga soup and I only got 3 albondigas and about 5 vegetables and it was absolutely tasteless. My husband got green chicken enchiladas and they were dry and cold with no enchilada sauce. They were bagging my food when I got there so it should've been fresh, but certainly wasn't They looked like they were old and taken out of the refrigerator. We also got no chips and salsa. This was so unlikely because when I walked in to pick up my food, everyone's plates looked fresh and tasty. I will never order takeout again and unfortunately it will probably be a while before we eat here again. read more

Excellent food, friendly and fast servers, reasonable prices. Be ready to wait quite a while around dinner time...which is somewhat expected, but a wait of a solid 30 - 45 minutes is ridiculous. It's an interesting model that seems to favor Instacart orders over in-person diners. Slow service is not the fault of the servers, it's apparently due to the overall game plan of management. The slow service is a relatively recent development. A nice place for dinner, but not if you expect dinner to be served in a timely fashion. If you're not really that hungry and want to have a couple of drinks before dinner...that'd work. read more

Had a horrible experience there. Service was slow. With only one other table occupied at 11:30 AM , we had to get up and ask for someone to take our order. Food was just ok. I had the taco salad w/ chicken. Basically just lettuce w/ some chicken on top. Flavorless. But the real kicker was my friend ordered a margarita. It didn't taste right to her, too sweet. The waiter told us it was just there recipe and asked if she wanted a "regular " one instead. When she received it, it was no more than slightly flavored water. We were charged for both. When we asked for them to deduct one we were told "you had a menu. You knew what you were ordering. " They refused. Poor customer service. Will never go back! read more

Great food, drinks, and service. My wife and I stopped in for dinner based on other Yelp reviews to fit our craving for Mexican. The tables were full so we sat at the bar and we're so glad we did. Our bartender, Nicky, was really friendly and introduced us to some great tweaks on classic drinks as well as her own creations. The whole staff ended up chatting with us, adding to our enjoyment of a delicious dinner. We had the floutas and chimichangas, which we really liked. It's been a few years. We ordered takeout through their website using an app called toast. Food was great. If the numerous options for meat on the chimichanga we chose fajita beef. Delicious! We ordered a taco and paid extra for "homemade tortilla". It was good. Next time we'll ask if they can crisp up the homemade tortilla. Also had chili relleno. It was fluffy the way we like it. I had an appointment on this side of town and was pretty early. So I decided to drive around and see if I could grab a quick bite, even though I wasn't really that hungry. I saw Rosa linda's and decided to go in. The gentleman behind the counter was so knowledgeable really really nice and suggested one of their loaded tostadas (not sure of the actual name). So I took my food to go and I took it over to the location of my appointment still had plenty of time left it started snacking on the tostada thinking that I would only have a little. I thought it was so stinking good that even though I wasn't hungry I finished the whole thing. Can't wait to come back during my days off for a margarita flight. EXCELLENT food! what I love the most is that the food is prepared exceptionally well and it doesn't all taste the same. for example, the refried beans are home made and have their own flavor without it being mixed with the same sauce as my enchiladas. their enchiladas are so very tasty and made with real cheesey goodness. homemade chips. Salsa is so good. definitely order their home made corn tortillas for they are a treat. because it's a smaller set up, the service is personal and quick. this is my place when I'm craving Mexican and it earns a high recommendation! read more

I went to Rosa Linda's recently and ordered my usual for lunch, two shrimp enchiladas, the waitress repeated back the order, saying "2 enchilada combo." I corrected her saying "2 enchiladas, no beans or rice." She said that they "no longer offer the shrimp enchiladas as a la cart." So I asked her if I could have a salad instead of the beans and rice, and she said yes. A few minutes a waiter brought my plate out and it contained the enchiladas with beans and rice. When I saw the plate, I told him that I ordered a salad with the enchiladas. He returned with a salad. When the bill arrived I noticed that they charged $16.99 for the enchiladas, plus an extra dollar for each enchilada because of the shrimp, and they charged me for the salad. I understand that they are struggling with rising costs, but I don't like the sneaky tactic of no longer offering a la cart, but adding a surcharge for the shrimp is going to far. In your house the customer is not important, but their money. After being a regular lunch customer for over 7 years, you are now off of my list of places to go. read more

I can truly say, I have never written a restaurant review-or for that matter- any type of review. Just didn't think it was that important. That has now changed. I just had one of the most rewarding, memorably, total dinning experience and feel complelled to do so. This little restaurant tucked away in a very romantic setting in a small, beautiful shopping center next to a fabulous water fountain that sings to you. That is just the beginning as you enter the enchanting , covered patio , the surrounding green plants and flowers dance to the fountain's music. Then the most wonderful people greet you like you were entering their home. So warm, so friendly. Their service was amazing, the food, oh my, the food was so delicious and more authenic Mexican that you will never find anywhere else. No wonder Rosa Linda has been in business for almost 25 years. My daughter-in-law stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday about 12:30pm. We had our choice of tables. The young male waiter brought us menus immediately and took our drink order, two waters please. The water arrived quickly in a clean clear glass with lots of ice and a lemon slice. We let him know were ready to order. Rosa Linda has a separate lunch menu with about ten items which we were given in addition to the regular larger menu. My daughter in law order the pulled pork quesadillas and I ordered a small bowl of albondigas (meatball soup). After our order was taken, our waiter brought chips and salsa, both homemade and delicious. The chips were warm and the salsa was spicy! Our order was brought out in about 10-12 minutes and our waiter asked if we needed anything else. I asked for extra napkins, of course, and he promptly brought them. I like their napkins, sturdy and white. 4 out of 5 stars because not once did our waiter or any other person check on us before we finished our meal. read more

I've enjoyed this place/food for a long time, great atmosphere and customer service but unfortunately the last few times I've been there was not the same. Staff is not as friendly as servers in the past. Servers won't greet you and basically just trow the menu on the table. It saddens me because this has been my place to go for a few years. Great atmosphere, fantastic customer service. I love the misting fans it makes for an incredible dinning experience even if it is hot. Love the fajitas, chicken mole is phenomenal steak Ranchero is delicious and let's not forget the chonca and combination plates are exquisite. Always get the margarita so darn refreshing. The employee are very sweet and efficient. There is a shaved head gentleman who is the best. I wish I got his name but we have seen him 2 or three times each time sweeter than the last time. The Selma taco is the dish to order. It's a delightful little taco with grilled steak. Tamales are fairly good, but I like the taco the best as it is their signature dish. Beer and wine only, so if you want a real margarita, go across the street to El Toro Tambien who makes the best margaritas anywhere. Service is fine in this small eatery tucked into the southwest corner of Pavillions West. Simple decor does not distract from the food. The patio right outside the door can be a nice place to partake of your meal if it's not too hot as there is a fountain there to cool things down a bit. But on those gosh-awful Fresno HOT days, inside is much better. read more

Ordered thru grubhub for pickup. Food was excellent. Asada fries were tasty, the fresh serano chile slices add a little extra flavor. Asada burrito was great and we enjoyed the chimichanga stuffed with fajita chicken. Ok let's start off by saying I've been coming to one of many Rosa Linda's restaurant for many years (over 10 years) and I've noticed that they're negatively changing things up. I love their mole poblano, it's like no other mole I've ever tried so it's kinda my usual meal selection (if it's not broken, don't try and fix it). Today was my 3rd time striking out with the mole sauce! The other time was learning you can no longer add a side of mole sauce (it was an order for take out) to any entree and then the other time was you can't add a side of mole sauce for dine in. This time around I received a skimpy amount of mole sauce and asking for a tad more, heck I was willing to pay extra sauce but I was unsuccessful! Then I was told they ran out of sauce. It was in the late afternoon, how did you "run" out of sauce?! Needless to say, I hope I can resist coming back. read more

First time here and I ordered a combo: Chicken enchilada, shredded beef taco, pork Verde burrito with beans and rice. While technically nothing was wrong with my meal, it just kinda bored me. It wasn't unique or interesting and nothing seemed to distinguish it. Everything was under seasoned and lacked flavor. And while I'm all in favor of keeping the salt low, how about adding some cumin, garlic, cilantro and onion to the sauce? I didn't care for the the chips they left at the table. The Verde burrito just had pork in it and nothing else, not even the Verde sauce that usually wraps the meat in flavor. Boring! The refried beans had a slightly off flavor; I think it's due to cottonseed oil. It's also kinda funny that with that level of flavor, they'd option you a 'homemade' corn tortilla for $1.00 extra. Glad I didn't bite that since it's already homemade food going in the tortilla and it doesn't taste good. Shouldn't the restaurant further their distinctions by just using ONLY homemade torts as part of their gig? Yes! I mean, come on, the material cost like 2 cents and you want to charge $1.00 for each one? The restaurant is pleasant enough and the service was friendly and attentive but in the end, isn't it always about the flavor, texture, quality of the food?
