I am so disappointed in one of my favorite places. Went in with my family for a nice dinner and ordered the two item combo plate to share with my husband with two shredded beef burritos with beans and cheese. When I bit into mine it was full of beans, I opened it up and didn't see any beef so I asked for them to remake I. While waiting for my burrito the food server, not our waitress, came to tell me that they looked in my burrito and there was meat in it but they will still remake it At the moment I was to stunned to respond but thought wow that was rude. Why in the world would this guy think it's ok to come out and tell me that I was wrong even if I was he definitely shouldn't be doing that. Went to Casa Corona, for happy hour with my best friend. Could not have been happier the lady that served us was tall and blonde and Sophie Cunningham/esque! Absolutely delightful lady. But everyone was looking out for us. The bartender made the most amazing margaritas and honestly, it was an absolutely premier experience. Well usually I am a positive guy trying to guide folks to a great place to check out and dine. Unfortunately Casa Corona was or didn't have that effect. Service was lack luster, non existent at times truly I believe our waiter forgot about us and we actually had to ask for him. We asked another waiter to check on our food. While a few other couples came in ordered a got their food before us. The food seemed to be the last of what was in the pot. We ordered Menudo and Albóndiga Soup with corn tortillas which were hard and stuck together. The ambiance was A-typical Mexican Restaurant nothing to write home about. This was really a disappointment. The soups had small pieces of menudo like was left at the bottom of the pot the other had small pieces of meatballs and squash only no carrots or celery so sad. Now with that said we still left a tip because I believe anyone putting folks to work and owning a business in the community is challenging. I truly hope this was a bad day and not the norm. Went tonight for dinner. Casa Corona was extremely busy when we got there. We got there Friday night at 6 PM. The wait time wasn't really that long, only about 15 minutes. The parking lot is horrible, we had to circle the parking lot twice almost a third time to find a spot all the way at the other end of the parking lot next to Starbucks. Apparently, there were a lot of people that have the same idea this Friday night. Once we got into the restaurant, the staff was really friendly. Our waiter was so wonderful. He was very attentive, very informative about the menu and checked back with us frequently. The food we ordered was excellent. I ordered the two soft taco combo with a side of guacamole and a Pepsi, my friend ordered an enchilada plate. The food came out hot fresh and fast, and it was very tasteful. The restaurant was very clean. Even though the restaurant was packed, and there were people coming and going, in and out The tables were cleared timely before anyone else sit down. The service was so great. Very friendly and attentive! We came for a birthday dinner and everything was delicious! My dad got steak fajitas, my mom got something served in a bowl, my sister got garlic shrimp and I got the Swiftaritto. The meat was so tender and juicy and the verde sauce packed in a lot of flavor! My sister got a virgin margarita and let me have a few sips and the bright pop of lime was such a treat! On Cinco de Mayo 2026 they took my atm card for 63.50 and said they didn't get my order from Toast app. Toast said they were paid and gave me the ticket number. Still they wouldn't honor the order but took the money. My bank showed the amount taken. My son went in to explain because I am elderly, the owner refused to honor my order. And she asked him to leave. We have gone there for many years. But will never, ever go again. They stole from me ! I know that evening when they checked the money against the orders they had $63.50 more than they should have. Rude nasty owner!!!! Thieves!!! Not sure if service has gone downhill but we frequent this restaurant and we had the worst experience. We sat on the patio. The hostess sat us and multiple staff saw us come. No one came to bring us water or even take our order. We sat outside for at least 20-25 min. At least they gave us chips and salsa with menu's but not a single person came to help. They weren't even busy tonight & we kept staring inside but no one came. Not sure who is managing the place but your staff definitely needs some better training. read more

All the meats we tried had no character and little to no flavor. Prices were fair, except for the chile relleno dinner, which included one chile relleno and rice and beans for $16.50. Customer service is great as soon as you step through the doors and the wait time is always minimal. The portion sizes are great for the price and the food is delicious. The meat is always tender and everything is always seasoned well. When you're seated, they give you complimentary chips and salsa, that are also refillable. Throughout your meal, the waiter/waitress periodically checks on you to make sure you're still doing well. Conversing with your lunch/dinner guest isn't difficult either as the volume in there isn't relatively loud. The Mexican decor throughout the restaurant is beautiful and vibrant. We ordered dinner from Casa Corona, this evening. My husband ordered the Swifturrito ($20.00). This is one of their best dishes. It is a burrito filled with saucy pork ribs, beans, rice and cheese in a flour tortilla smothered with Chile Verde and more cheese. This is his favorite! I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes ($19.00). This dish has been a favorite of mine. I ordered the enchiladas with chicken basted with chile verde sauce. It also includes rice, beans, cheese, lettuce and pico de gallo. However, today the enchiladas were somewhat dry, not baked and were almost cold. I was surprised and very disappointed! I suggest that Casa Corona take the time to bake this dish prior to sending it out to customers. Disappointing! read more

We come here often, and every time it's the same: awesome service, great vibes, and food that never misses. Susie is the real MVP. Sweet, quick, and makes you feel like she knows your abuelita personally. The chips and salsa? Dangerous. The happy hour here is easily the best in Fresno--trust me, I've done the research (it was delicious). Yummmm! Went to Casa Corona in a group of 8 on a Sunday night. We got seated in a comfortable round booth within 5 minutes and polished off endless bowls of delicious warm Tortilla Chips and salsa. I ordered the Mexican pizza and asked if I could have it with Fajita Veggies instead of meat, and also no cheese. It was phenomenally delicious. It was covered in enchilada sauce, loaded with veggies and fresh avocado as well. I ate nonstop, and got through about half of it. I was content and full. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meals...tacos, enchiladas, albondigas, beans, rice...all loved with leftovers to take home. Our server was kind and accommodating, however the timing of our actual meals coming out was the only hiccup in reaching that 5th star. We realized how long it had been when we were actually getting full off the endless chips, and we all wondered what would be taking so long. That being said, great ambiance, delicious food, and kind server's keeps us coming back for more. We appreciate the variety of food, the ample portions, and they also had no trouble splitting checks. My partner and I went to have dinner here yesterday. The service was fine they were nice however, the food was not to par. I got enchiladas with rice my partner got an enchilada with a quesadilla, rice and beans. We also got the nacho fries as an appetizer. All the food was soaked the fries were soggy from the chile verde but it wasn't like thick sauce it was watery and had no flavor. Same as my enchiladas they were soggy the plate could be drained. The chicken was so mushy and had no flavor at all as well. I can't believe I paid $74 for a meal I didn't eat nor enjoy. I know they didn't intentionally ruin my food but it should not have made it past the cook line. I honestly should have got a refund we didn't eat the food we just got the bill and left. We came with a big group but the servers managed that well, tending to our table and keeping chips/salsa filled, as well as our drinks. They have a great drink menu. I opted for a spicy jalapeño margarita, which was really good! For my entree I chose the fajita tostada with grilled chicken. It was a huge portion and tasted good! Others in my party were not thrilled on their food. I heard the enchiladas were lacking flavor. My sister was appreciative of them having ranch for the children in our party who were ordering chicken and French fries. I have definitely had better Mexican, but this spot was a fun time for us. They have a large menu with the standard Mexican fare. Parking was super easy with a big parking lot right out front. We went on a Saturday and didn't have a reservation but were able to get a table in about 15 mins. They had heaters on inside, which I could've done without. I used to love Casa Corona years ago, but in the last few years, the food has been really bland. I went to lunch there today, and it was much better. I started to go with the Swifturrito but heard it could be a little greasy, so I went with the Burrito Royal, which is a large wet burrito. It was great although very Americanized, if you know what I mean. Also, notice in the picture the hot sauce in the Corona bottle. It was tasty but only a 4/10 on the heat scale. A I also had a cup of the albondigos (meatball) soup. It was large for a cup and had a lot of veggies. It wasn't spicy at all. In all honesty, we were really happy Casa Corona kept this location open. We were so saddened to hear they closed their other location. We actually love the look and feel of this location. It has a more welcoming vibe, and the staff are actually a bit more friendly here. I ordered a fajita tostada with chicken and added avocado and I loved it! The flavor was unchanged from the other location which meant the quality of the cooking was standardized across the board. My daughter called to get us reservations for 11 with two service dogs and was told they could make us the reservation and then noticed that in the note left for her about our reservation from when we called earlier mentioned the service dogs it immediately became that time frame didn't work and they could only accommodate us if we came in later. So said no thank you that didn't work for us. About an hour later my husband called back not mentioning my daughters call or the dogs but asking for the same time. this time we were told reservations couldn't be made for less than 12 people so we said OK we have 12. And the reservation was made for the same time we originally asked for. This really puts a sour taste in my mouth and cannot support a business that's not following ada requirements. read more
