We've been eating here for years and have never left a review. Here we go. Tonight I ordered a bean, rice and cheese burrito, several hot sauces and an order of beef taquitos. Food was fresh and delicious. Oh and the avocado/guacamole sauce with the taquitos is gooood. One of the great things about Rosa Maria's, we call our order in and it's ready when we arrive. Hearing/reading about this place so much, I thought I'd come in today and try it for myself. I ordered a chile relleno burrito with chips and a drink. What I found cool right off the bat is that jamaica drink or horchata is no extra charge where I've seen this at other locations. Although it's dispensed from a machine, I was glad to know that I wouldn't pay extra. Always a plus! First time here, the staff was friendly. With the explanation of different sauces, I chose the red sauce, as I was told green sauce is more spicier than their red. For my chips, I ate red salsa which was delicious. I only come here for breakfast burritos and that's on a rare occasion because who can mess up a breakfast burrito. I missed breakfast by a couple of mins and ordered a chicken quesadilla and a chicken garbage burrito. When I got home my quesadilla is soggy I tried to rip away pieces to eat because they don't cut it for you. My fiancé says his burrito is a "garbage" burrito and he eats everything. I came, I saw and it's a BIG FAT NO for me. One of the WORST places I have ever been at. They call themselves Rosa Maria when nothing in the menu is authentic mexican food. They had a bunch of ABC abbreviation dishes that I had no clue what the hell that was. The burrito i ordered I dont even know what the hell it was called but they claimed it had carnitas, more like orange unseasoned rice porridge, canned beans with no seasoning and the meat, oh noo noo noooo that meat doesn't even get to be called meat. Unseasoned everything! I couldnt believe how dissatisfied I was that I didnt even finish. That's not the worst part, when I got home I was blown up with gas, dropping bombs like Hiroshima and my shit was as soggy as the burrito exploding chaos in my toilet. Well we tried this spot and order the garbage burrito. I can honestly say we got exactly what we ordered garbage wrapped in a tortilla that was cold and bland. It's not a horrific burrito but it's not what you pay for and my husband says it's horrific and do not order I agree don't order it. I honestly can say that I'm shocked the there are actually some good reviews on that burrito. We got some on the side and it was brown on the sides like it had been sitting out. We hate to waste so we ate what we could but it really was not good. I can't believe it is almost 9 bucks & it is not big, it's wide but short & you get a lot of folded tortilla to bite into. I was looking for a place to get breakfast burritos and Yelp recommended me this restaurant. Being so close to home, my husband and I came over right at opening to try their breakfast burritos. We were greeted right away with friendly faces. Both my husband and I ordered the bacon breakfast burritos and added sour cream. It only took a few minutes and they brought out our order to our table. I took my first bite and WOW! Absolutely delicious. The potatoes inside were nice and crispy, and the bacon was flavorful. Ifykyk...They have the best Pork burritos and Chillie Reano burritos!! There flour tortillas are thick and so soft nobody else has flower tortillas like them!! Been eating here since I was a young teenager growing up in San Bernardino area always the best!! Since I've lived in Hesperia I still eat here anytime I come down the hill. Order a XL Garbage burrito it had a lot more beans and lettuce then meat in it the size of the burrito was large however the portion of meat to the ratio of lettuce and beers was like 10%meat 90%filler with lettuce and beans. Also order a chile verde burrito and that also was poor in flavor of chile verde it was a lot of lettuce and beans not enough meat. We may come back another day and give it a try maybe it was the prep chef. Kids meal taquitos where also not made fresh it was said they pre roll them and fry them but then sit in the food warmer for a while before they are reheated again to be served. read more

Been going to Rosa's for 33 years. All of them. San Berdoo, Rancho, Highland and Redlands. The meat and cheese burrito is amazing and my all time favorite, and #2 are their hard tacos. The tacos are simply crunchy and simply delicious. They have never disappointed and their hot sauce is amazing too. I don't live close anymore so when I am close, I buy extra meat and cheese burritos and freeze them in a vacuum bag along with a couple of hot sauce tubs. They are almost as amazing a year later when I re-heat them. YUM!!! For those of you complaining about the garbage burrito not having much meat in it, maybe you should get just meat and cheese, or meat rice and cheese. More room for meat. I personally don't care for their most famous garbage burrito. Who wants lettuce and tomatoes in a burrito? I don't... But some LOVE IT and that's OK too. read more

Ordered a Chile relleno burrito mostly because all the other burritos were abbreviations with no description and I didn't have enough time to ask what each one meant. It was ready fairly fast and I dug in. I did not care for the overly salty, dry, chicken and the salsa was a peppery disappointment; the saving grace was that the salsa was served in such a small plastic container, you only had to taste a little of it. They say the pork option is better than the chicken, but I don't eat a lot of the "other white meat." The extra large garbage burrito was huge, gargantuan in size, so big in fact I could feel the tug of its gravity pulling me closer and closer to each bite. Where should I start. Hubby's co-workers highly recommend this place. Hubby himself ate here when he is in the area for work. When he's in the mood for Mexican while at work, he ordered the chilie relleno burrito. He claims it's the best. So yesterday we were playing disc golf with the family and we need to gain back the calories lost . We as a family of 6 , 5 out 6 decided we want Mexican food. Of course I start looking through Yelp reviews. Hubby interjected, excited for us to try his place. Off we went 30 minutes out of our way to this location. walked up to the counter to order . Handed a ticket with a number. For dine in, Our food is served on a styrofoam containers with plastic utensils. No pickled vegetables or other salsa available besides the red salsa given to us from behind the counter in a little plastic container. We carried our food on a plastic tray to our bench style seatings. Four different tables we choose were dirty, found one that's less messy , I used a napkin to wipe of the residue from the table. Son had the pork burrito filled with beans and rice, he took a few bites. His face says it all. He opened up the burrito to find they were stingy with the fillings. The other half was left on table untouched. He expressed "It didn't have flavor, don't like it. " My two girls had a chicken quesadilla and pork quesadilla. What did we ordered? Looks nothing like a quesadilla ( compared to other restaurants quesadillas) the chicken quesadilla filled with shredded spicy chicken and where is the cheese? My oldest daughter after eating less than half of her quesadilla decided she didn't like it and asked if she can throw it out. The pork quesadilla looks disgusting the pork meat is a verde with extra liquid sauce again stingy with the cheese. When my girls tried to pick up the quesadilla to eat, the pork and liquids plopped on the foam container. My girls didn't touch the pork quesadilla. I decided to convinced them let's cut it up probably will be better. Nope!!!! The claim to fame "fresh made tortillas on site daily". Didn't deliver. The tortilla was cold, hard, tough. The pork meat flavor was ok to me. Another dish pushed aside untouched. I had the shredded beef tacos with a side of beans and rice and lettuce/ tomato slices . The taco shell is fried tortilla, what happened to the crunch and crispy fried tortillas. I am assuming it's fried earlier in the day and been sitting there, explained why it's hard and cold? The shredded beef was skimpy and lacking flavors. I did liked the rice and beans. My son / hubby had a bite of my tacos and again my son shook his head, he didn't like it either. Hubby said, it was ok and agree the taco shell didn't seem fresh and the meat is bland. Hubby apparently was the only person who liked his food. He had the fried chili relleno burrito filled with pork, beans, rice not sure if it had cheese ( I didn't see it in there when I took a bite) my son and I had a bite of this much talked about burrito. Me as not to be rude stayed quiet . My son he's very opinionated " Dad you drove us all the way here for this ?" Hubby asked my opinion. "Well, it's nothing to rave about, the oil in the chili relleno tastes stale, old and needed to be changed. " "The tortilla didn't taste fresh made, I had fresh made tortillas numerous times and taste nothing like this". What a waste of our $$ ended throwing our food away. Alright Rosa Maria's, I've been wanting to try your new breakfast burrito for sometime now, but I have noticed there is a HUGE SHORTAGE of reviews on them and absolutely no pictures of them. Which made my decision to try them very hard because I know what I love there and didn't want to be disappointed. Well, I finally got the nerve to just do it and felt that it was my responsibility to come here and share my experience. So the other day I ordered a Chile Verde Breakfast Buriito and I have to tell you that it was literally one of the best I've had in a long time. The Verde was tender and delicious as always, it had a perfect amount of cheese, there was no over abundance of egg and the potatoes were PERFECTLY SEASONED! They were so garlicky and peppery. Seriously my favorite part of the burrito. Well besides the meat and cheese lol. Now I'm actually wondering what it would be like with just meat, cheese potatoes and extra Verde sauce....YUM. ( yes I'm THAT girl that always orders every burrito with extra Verde sauce lol ‍‍) But let's face it Rosa's, your burritos will always be superior due to the tortillas alone so you have made something quite magical here with the Breakfast Burritos and I salute you! read more

The best burritos in SB County hands down! Home made tortillas, tons of cheese and delicious meat/beans. The restaurant is super clean. The staff of very friendly and efficient.
