This is a review regarding Rosati's recent promotion for their 1964 rollback to prices on a 14 inch 2 topping pizza for $3.50. I went to the Schaumburg location and they told me they stopped taking orders for the promotion. Others were also coming in to get the deal, and were told the same thing. They indicated their system failed. Another location, Addison, stop taking orders because they sold 800 pizzas, and did not have enough quantity of food sustain the amount of orders. Obviously, this was bad planning on Rosati's part. If you are going to run a promotion then be prepared and plan better. I think Rosati's should at least rectify the situation by apologizing to their customers on their website and maybe offer a better alternative free pizza by a certain date. read more

Their gluten-free pizza is always delicious. But on this order they knocked it out of the park. The crust was cooked perfectly and there was the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. It was the best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. Keep it up Rosati's in Fox Lake. read more

So I tried DoorDash for the first time with Rosati's Pizza and I tell you for the small service fee you pay it was worth it. I'm not sure about the mediocre reviews but so my review is based purely on ease of online order use, the accuracy of the estimated time of arrival, and of course the quality of the food. I ordered a stuffed crust pizza 16" on line with Italian beef and pepperoni toppings. It was easy! The DoorDash app gave me confirmation of order receipt and the estimated time of arrival. I was also given notification as to when the food was picked up and right when the food was at my doorstep (prior to the delivery man ringing my doorbell). The food - oh my was quite the surprise! I was imagining stuffed crust pizza with literally just the crust stuffed with cheese but not Rosati's pizza - the pizza almost looked like a sandwich held together by cheese and the toppings were in between the cheese. Because we chose Italian beef topping, it included green bell peppers in it.... It was amazing! Everyone loved it and we are definitely going to be ordering this again. I highly recommend using DoorDash and I highly recommend ordering the stuffed crust pizza at this place. read more

I have lived in Fox Lake for the past 12 yrs now and have always loved the pizza here. It's a little pricey but we give ourselves a treat every once in a while. Lately and I mean the past year it has gone down hill. Orders wrong, attitudes over the phone, quality of the products, it's becoming a place to look over when ordering pizza. The conversation goes "Where would you like pizza from tonight Rosati's? No they are too expensive" and this was never a problem before because you knew the quality you were getting. This is no longer the standard. I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery, I normally pick up but needed this delivery. The sausage pizza looked as though someone had thrown up in the box. I called to let them know and the reply was"we can give you a credit" I don't want a credit, I'm hungry now "we'll let me check" Okay we can send one within the hour. I am done with Rosati's. There are other companies that are making quality pizzas that need the business. No customer service any longer, and the quality of the products is gone. 6/25/2020 Owner Jon reached out to me through email. Jon deeply apologized and offered to replace the full order. I don't like "free food" to make up for it if it's going to be the same quality. I took Jon up on his offer, paid $10 tip over the phone sight unseen of the pizza, well let's just say Jon, you need to get quality control in this store. I received the same service, same quality of product (see updated photos) they almost look identical. I appreciate the extent of trying to make things right for me, the customer, but I will be going elsewhere for my Pizza. Good luck to you and your future. I've have ordered from here about four time all delivery. I have ordered Italian beef, chicken sandwiches, fries, poppers, mozzarella sticks. Italian beef: was ok not great, giardiniera had olives in it which killed it for me. Beef was tender I must say. Chicken sandwiches: grilled Breast on French bread seasoned nice. Lettuce and tomatoes come one the side so your sandwich is not soggy. Fries: always soggy Poppers: good but not worth $6 plus bucks Mozzarella sticks: I believe there were 8 and were very good Side salad: fresh and tasty, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and banana peppers. I order 45.00 dollars worth of food , they come in an hour as they said it would be ... since it's a Friday night . The driver hands me my pizza , but no wings or large fry with a side of cheese . Looks at me says sorry I forgot it,but here's a 2 liter of coke . I don't want your pop , I want my food . Now growing up in the suburbs of Chicago I have had my pick of 5 different Rosatie's locations. And each one a but unique and different than the other. That being said, the fox lake location. In my pizza obsession opinion is by far best. Hands down,no competition, I have no idea why it is so much better it just is. The big plus for me is they make there own dressing for salads which is a huge win in my book. I must point out though the pizza on the week days tastes better maybe they are in less of a hurry. Just got my order for a thin crust pizza which half of the pizza had no crust! Got a full slab of ribs and there were dry pink and barely any meat on them. Only thing I know is good is the cheesy beef and I order pizza at least once a week never a problem. I don't if they were just in a hurry or what. I call the manager and he tells me I'm lying! And won't give me a credit or another full slab and I was gonna give them the old ribs back not touched! To prove my point. I have ordered the Chicago style deep dish pizza pepperoni and sausage a handful of times and it's always DELICIOUS with their wonderful cheesiness and chunks Of tomato in the sauce which I LOVE and hope they never change that. Very disappointed with this location. Ordered food before closing time online. Got the message stating a promised delivery time and saw that the money was already taken out. The delivery tracker went from order placed to order being made, where it stopped. Tried calling the location, but no response. So, ended the night with no pizza, money taken, and no response. I want my money back. Update: the next business day rosatis cancelled the order and returned the money. They did the right thing in giving me a refund, but that still doesn't excuse the whole mix up. read more

Today I tried this place for the first time and ordered the lasagna. I was not very pleased with the meal, the lasagna was very oily & the tiny side of cheese was full of oil & hard as a rock. Have had pizza from this location 3 times. Each time it was fantastic. All ingredients were very plentiful and delicious (sausage, mushrooms, cheese). Crust was great, nice and thin, tasty. My fiancé and I grabbed an early dinner here yesterday. I enjoyed my eggplant Parmesan sandwich, it was fantastic! The breaded cauliflower appetizer and the tiramisu was surprisingly awesome too. I had to remove one star because since all/most orders are take out, we didn't have any napkins or forks thrown in the bag. If they were on the counters then we didn't see them, so we were in for a surprise when we opened the bags at the park. Also, the sauces we requested for the cauliflower were not honored, and instead was given ketchup (no big deal, we love ketchup). We'll keep coming back, but will have a heads up based on this experience to check what's in the bag before leaving. read more

I have tried many pizza joints and so far the Fox Lake location has been great. Always delivered the food hot and under a hour.. This last delivery was just over a 1/2 hour and the deep dish pizza was hot and delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs with the meat sauce was also very good.. I don't know why but this Rosati's uses extremely hot Italian sausage when making Italian Beef Combos, Lasagna, or Italian Sausage sandwiches. It's so hot you can't eat it. Where is the fun in that? They should use normal Italian sausage. I'm guessing only 1 percent of their clientele like their sausage. The rest just don't order it again. read more
