This Domino's runs efficiently. Order through the app; don't call in. It's noisy in there and your chance for misheard order goes up. I've only used the app and it's always good. The pizza is domino's. It's not going to beat a solid independent recipe but it's good and it's affordable. I've had just about every combination of ingredients and would recommend all except for their sausage. Get your pizza well done if you like it a bit crispier. The employees are always nice and try to get you your order immediately upon walking in. I think this location is a model of how a dominos should run. read more

I have been a very frequent domino's customer for many years. I have placed some pretty big orders for parties etc through the years. . I always thought they did a good job and I liked their menu. Never any complaints. Recently ,however, they drastically changed their menu and eliminated sandwiches I always liked. I called the Wauconda store to just clarify something on the new menu..the women actually hung up on me. So, I adjusted my order to be ONLY what I could get free with my frequent customer rewards, then when I went in to pick up my freebees I asked the manager if he was aware of his employee hanging up on me...He was absolutely fine with that, SO I went from being a once a week customer to....deleting everyone Domino's related. read more

I ALWAYS write something ridiculous in the delivery instructions for any place I get delivery from, its rare anyone has that sense of humor to follow up. Ordered some Pizza, wings, and cinnamon bread sticks tonight and my wife and I got really sick. Not 1 hour after eating both our stomachs had instant pain, have been in the bathroom for hours. I'm convinced someone there did something to our food. I called 1 hour after I ordered since the app never notified me that our pizza was on its way, we received an alert 30 mins prior that the food was done. I called and was told all drivers were out and busy and ours would be next to go and our food sat under the food lamp for 30-40 mins. I used to love Domino's as a cheaper option for Pizza. I don't have a car, so if I wanted a relatively cheaper delivery, Domino's was there for me. That was, until I moved to a gated community. My boyfriend and I called to order delivery and the guy who answered the phone, Jamie, was probably the most unhelpful person I have ever spoken to. It's not that he was rude, it wasn't that, he had absolutely ZERO knowledge of the menu, the specials... and was obviously not interested in asking anyone the answers to the extremely easy questions we were asking. There first question we asked is what were the current specials... his response, "uhhhh like uhhh I'm not totally sure. I think the only delivery special is the mix and match...." (silence). "Okay... can you please explain to us what a mix and match is?" "It's like uhhhh, basically you can get two things". "Well what things are we able to choose from?" "Uhhh, like uhh a piZza with 2 toppings and like uhhh one more thIng.." "Can the other thing be another pizza?" "Like yeA, uhh you can get another pizza and choose the crust. " (He then named the crusts) We ended up choosing one extra thin and one pan. We had a $25 gift card and wanted to spend as close to $25? As possible, as we were planning to tip in cash. He said our total came to $20.25. He had informed us with the mix and match, the two items were $5.99 a piece so we didn't know how it came out so high, even with $1.25 in tax and delivery fee. "Well, like, uhh the Pan crust is extra so that one was $7.49". We probably would have still ordered it but this guy obviously knew absolutely nothing and gave us wrong information. We asked him if there was anything on the menu for $5 to which he replied "Uhh like not really, maybe like uhh a soda or sauces..." I started laughing so hard when he suggested sauces I looked later and there are multiple things for $5 I just didn't have access to a menu at the time. I have to believe this guy was 100% taking advantage of the new marijuana law which I couldn't care less about, but come on, don't bring that brain to work. The pizzas were good and came quickly and the delivery driver was very polite and courteous. If it wasn't for the food and driver I would have given zero stars. Dominos actually makes good tasty pizza now! The crust is seasoned and garlicky, the cheese is baked to perfection, and they are using pretty good sauce as well. Online ordering is a bit wonky, but the fact that they have online ordering at all is an awesome bonus feature. There is no comparison to stuffed pizza or coal over pizza places, but, the price is right, it's convenient, and it's tasty. They deliver, and are open decently late as well. Some time ago I ordered 2 pizzas and decided to pick them up. They weren't quite ready so I waited. No problem. However, I was watching the young man putting ingredients onto pizza crusts with his bare hands. I found that to be sickening. Why wasn't he wearing gloves??? Every other place has food preparers wearing those see through plastic gloves. It is a must. Just like it is a MUST to wash their hands after using the washroom. I order from Domino's Pizza Wauconda like twice a month. I only submit thru the online order site. Well, for the past month or so I wanted to pay cash. This is what the website tells me "Whoa there, big spender. An order this awesome exceeds our store's cash limit of $1.00 but you can pay by credit card. We apologize for any inconvenience." I have changed my order like 10 times and still pops up. If you don't want to take cash thru online orders please don't have it as a option on your website.. I always paid with credit card in the past and wanted to change it up with cash in hand and I'm not able to are you serious. I will no longer order from you until you make changes on your website. Ordered online, was given an estimated delivery time of 23-33 minutes. It was here in about 20 minutes? Very fast, anyway, especially considering a fairly heavy downpour of rain. The online system even has a thing that shows you exactly where your order is (tells you when it's put in the oven, when the delivery driver has gone out, etc). Got exactly what I ordered, too. Granted, Domino's itself isn't a top-of-the-line 5-star pizza, but it is tasty. And for the speed, accuracy of the order, and the price, I'd say it's definitely worth a 5 star rating. read more

I have never had a problem with Dominos until today. We ordered a pizza online for delivery, entered the proper address, was charged the delivery fee and after an hour our pizza never showed up. We called Dominos and they argued with us saying we called and asked for pickup at a certain time and had the pizza done at that time. Clearly they mixed up two orders. Then the manager offered to have a cold pizza that had been sitting for over an hour, sent out without any discount. I recently purchased a savings card from a high school student that was selling them for a high school band trip. The card provides discounts at various retailers including Arby's, McDonald's, Burger King, Dominoes, etc. I have used the card at most of these businesses without issue. I show them the card and they ring up the discounted order. When I attempted to use the card at Dominoes Pizza I was treated like a criminal attempting to use counterfeit money. The manager asked me the same questions repeatedly. In the end the manager refused the buy one get one free pizza discount stating that Dominoes would not honor this coupon because he was not sure how to handle the transaction. You would think the manager would have the decision making authority to move forward with a simple transaction such as this. None of the other places had any issues at all. I have ordered from this particular location many times and usually don't have a problem. But yesterday I placed a dinner order from my app and added a note stating I was paying with a $50 bill (my total was $22 not including tip) so I asked for the delivery person to bring $25 of change. I received a call a couple minutes after placing my order, from a VERY rude woman saying "it says all over the internet that our driver doesn't carry more than $20! Don't you know how to read?!" I responded with "then cancel my order. No need to be rude". Apparently Dominos doesn't need your business if your paying with cash...especially if you need change. I won't be ordering from this location any more. Plus, I wouldn't trust them to not spit in my food or do something to it, since according to them- I can't read and they don't need my business. Whoever owns this establishment needs to really train their staff better and also have a policy for needing A COUPLE EXTRA DOLLARS to send with drivers to make change.....that's just bad business.
