Wow, I'm usually very lenient with my reviews but this one kinda deserved it. I called Rosati's from my hotel to find out if they deliver as I wasn't sure. The young lady checked the address and came back to tell me they do deliver to my hotel. I placed my order at 7:05 and was told it would be about 45 min, which I expected. An hour and 10 min later I called and they tell me the driver left about 10-15 ago with a few deliveries but it's on its way. Another 30 minutes pass by and I call again. They call the driver to check and say he is still out and had a lot of deliveries. They apologized but that was it. So finally at 9:05 I get the pizza with an apology for the wait. Guess what?!?? The pizza is now cold and not exactly what I expected when I paid $17 for a small pizza. Not too happy about the experience. read more

I thought that this pizza was pretty good. I'm not a huge thin crust fan but this was really good and I was craving pizza during my trip. I had done a long walk and called my order in and when I arrive it was ready soon after I got there so it was warm and fresh. It was plentiful and I throughly enjoyed eating while I was working. Best Pizza we have had in Orlando for the 30 plus years we have lived in the area. Originally moved from Chicago here and really missed the Pizza. We now don't have to travel so far to get that same great taste. Definitely recommend the garlic dough nuggets for the appetizer. Portion is very large but great garlic taste. Love the decor on the walls with a Chicago flare. Plenty of large screen TV's to catch any game. About a dozen of them and each one had a different game/sport playing. From golf, to baseball, to Hockey. They were even playing some college games. I look forward to returning here again. read more

So happy to see more new businesses in Apopka, even if they are basically in Altamonte Springs. Rosati's prides itself on Chicago style pizza, so we went with that on our visit. It takes longer to make, but they let you know that ahead of time. The pizza is quite filling as it is deep dish, and the sauce tasted fresh. The dough bites were a bit overkill on the bread, but they tasted great. The service was a bit hit and miss, I'd imagine if the restaurant were really busy that could become an issue. On Tuesday's they have kid's night so they eat free. They also have a table-side magician. He's fantastic, is great with the kids, and does some stellar magic. If you are picking a weeknight to go, definitely go when he is there. We need to go back and try their regular pizza to get a better feel for the food. We just had the best pie I've had in Florida. The thin crust is Devine and the Italian sausage was plentiful and full of flavor. Also had a Rosati's Red ale which was the perfect combination with our meaty pizza pie. Be sure to ask for Maddie, she was great and very helpful in suggestions for out of towners like ourselves! New to Apopka Rosati's just opened and the food, service and atmosphere is impeccable! The marinara with the garlic bread was fresh and So delicious didn't want to stop eating. Being from Chicago I was excited to find this Chicago classic less than an hour from my house, we have been a few times but today's experience was beyond exceptional. My two year old was with my wife and I. We ordered him a milk, and our waitress brought him a "vanilla milk" I didn't think he would like it but we had him try it just in case, he took a sip and said "yucky milk". We asked the waitress if they had any regular milk she went to check a moment later the manager came over to ask us what type of milk our son drank. We said 2%, his replied floored me, "okay I'll be right back I'm going to run to Publix to get it for you." We explained that wasn't necessary, but he insisted. Few moments later he returned with a half gallon of milk. If I wasn't already a die hard dedicated fan, this would have sealed the deal for a life long customer. read more

Being from Chicago originally we have been on the hunt for authentic Chicago thin crust pizza. Our search had been unsuccessful. A co-worker told me about Rosatis in Apopka. We have a Rosatis in our hometown outside of Chicago. We came to the Apopka store for a late lunch. The atmosphere was excellent and our waitress, Mariah, was extremely friendly and very good at her job. We ordered the dough bites as an appetizer and a thin crust pizza. The dough bites were terrific and the marinara was exactly as I remember it from home. Then the pizza came out. It was exactly like the Rosatis that I used to get at home. Perfectly baked and absolutely delicious. We have found our new go to pizza place. Even though it's 45 minutes from our house it is well worth the drive. Thank you for being there. read more

I must start by saying, our pizza expectations are pretty high since we have some really good pizza options in our immediate area. This pizza deserves a solid 3 stars. We ordered for delivery on a Friday evening 10 pm. The girl who answered the phone was nice but wasn't very professional -slow to understand what I was saying, I was considering adding peppers and onions but asked if they were precooked/ sautéed or put on raw (because I prefer them sautéed) and she came off a little condescending and uniformed, so I just stayed with pepperoni, mushroom to keep it simple...she did give us 5$ off our order, which was nice but I'm sure it's because they're a new place. The pizza was delivered in a timely manner, we ordered 16" thin crust, pepperoni, mushroom. The bottom of the crust was greasy and not very crisp but the edges were nice and crispy. The flavor is good, a little salty but nice. A good "pub pizza" but for 30$...I expected a stellar pie! For 5$ we got the cheesy garlic bread, which prob cost 2$ to make and for that portion it was over priced for sure. I REALLY like that their hours are late and that they deliver...so, I'm sure we will be calling them again. Not amazing for the price, but not terrible. First time visit at Rosati's today for lunch. This place did not disappoint. Since it was our first visit, we decided to try a couple of their lunch specials (two slices $5, 1/2 Italian beef sandwich and side salad) 1/2 price wings and delicious dough nuggets. Everything was great. Slices were huge, dough nuggets were excellent and the sweet Italian dressing in the salad was awesome. The best part of our lunch was the discovery of their amazing Italian Beef! ***We no longer have to drive all the way down to Tampa to get our Portillos fix!!!*** We also had enough food to bring home leftovers for dinner. Dined here twice now, once right when it opened (that was a mess, go figure), and once after a few weeks of it being opened. Had the deep dish pizza, which was average to "ok", and the lasagna (awful). Service was spotty but not horrible. The truth of the matter is however, this place can't afford to be just average, due to the many many pizza options within just a mile or two around this area. If it doesn't get it together soon and start impressing customers with its food, service, order accuracy, wait times, and foot taste, it'll be a short ride for this location . This was our first time here. Had the Dough Nuts as an appetizer with marinara sauce. Delicious! Fluffy and flavorful. We ordered the thin crust pizza which was good and a chicken parmigiana sandwich. The sandwich was served on a brioche roll and a side salad which had spinach in it and real slices of parmigiana cheese. Unfortunately the sandwich was not really good. Our server was excellent. Very friendly and kept checking on us. Lots of TVs, sports bar atmosphere. Stick with the pizza. read more

I was torn whether to even post this review and here's why. Some people like and enjoy some of the traits that come along with deep dish pizza: The grease, the enormous amounts of cheese, all that dough.... Well, the last time I had a deep dish was from UNO's and though I remember thoroughly enjoying it, my deep dish from Rosati's ended up going into the trash can at the end of the night (No, I'm not kidding.) It arrived via delivery and when we opened the box we just stood around looking at the mess under the lid. I don't know if deep dish pizzas can typically stay in tact with all the sauce and cheese sliding around during a car drive in a box, but ours wasn't very attractive. I almost called to complain but we figured it's going to taste the same regardless of how it looks, so let's just dig in. We ordered the largest deep dish they had and added Italian sausage, peppers, and onion. Again, maybe this is totally typical for Chicago-style deep dish, it just wasn't for us. Literally, NO one in the house (5 people) wanted to continue eating it. The cheese was so heavy and thick that it slid off the pizza just trying to plate the dang thing. I'm not sure if there was too much cheese or too much sauce or what. The flavor was fine but it was just all around too much for us. We each had a piece and threw the other half away because no one wanted to eat it the next day I guess we're more NY style pizza people, so that isn't Rosati's fault, but all around between the delivery with it looking like it had taken a spill and the heaviness of the cheese and sauce it just wasn't for us. read more

This is a really good pizza joint! We are from the north and totally love a Chicago pizza. Chicago pizzas are bigger thicker and cheesier than any other pizza in the world! Always enjoyed Rosati's, have gotten many sandwiches to go (never a napkin or fork, but tolerable sInce I was taking it home); the last two times the portion of beef was minimal, the first time I called to inform them...the remedy was to drive back. The second time I took it back, they increased the beef...and baa bye! My wife received a coupon for her birthday so we had lunch there today, free cheese pizza with up charge for pepperoni. When I received my combo sandwich (which I used to like) and salad, I mentioned there were no cucumbers in my salad I was told they were out of cucumbers (the anchor store in this strip mall is a Publix); my "sweet peppers" were uncooked green bell peppers. My wife had to get up to ask for Parmesan cheese. This Rosati's is inconsistent in food preparation and if not for their liquor license...would be gone! read more

I ordered delivery and delivery was on time, food was good however we ordered a 2L Pepsi and received Diet Pepsi. Called the locations and they stated that they would send someone out with the correct 2L and the extra marinara we paid for but did not receive. No one ever came. read more

Would highly recommend!! They use true Chicago ingredients and lemon drop martinis are awesome! Family friendly and easy to find. Wow! Everyone says this place is the best, I have to disagree, service was horrible!! We went for pizza, and wings and were there 2 hours, it took over an hour just for the pizza! Our server was never around, someone else brought us our food, filled our waters and then even gave us a box to bring it home. The other server goes wow you guys asked for extra cheese huh?!! We said no and we couldn't believe the amount of cheese, it was as if there was no dough, we actually had to keep taking cheese off of it. She said that is never how much cheese they put on a pizza, the wings were awesome and big so that was nice bc a lot of places wings are so tiny! I would go back again to give them another shot to impress me but if the pizza comes out again like it did when we went I won't be coming back. It was also a week night the wing special night and it wasn't busy so we couldn't figure out why everything took so long! read more

Waited a while for hostess and at same time customers were waiting at pick up counter and no one was there either! Service is mediocre only because they always seem short staffed. Our waitress....same one a couple of times...disappears for 15 minutes or more...every time we go. This last time we had no silverware and sat and waited till she came back finally. They need more help for sure. Almost like she is mentally checked out. Delivery...driver was nice but our pizza arrived all smooshed to one side...like he turned it on its side. Well I am surprised this place is still in business. There are 3 pizza locations in the same general shopping center. Best to visit the others. Understaffed, low quality food prepared poorly. Mostly served at lukewarm temperature. Service is hit or miss. Not sure how the pizza is cooked . Conveyor belt? Sauce on pizza is absolutely flavorless. Reheating a take home pie is a disaster as all ingredients form a paste on the soggy crust. The employees do the best they can to provide good service. My wife and I have enjoyed Rosati's in the past. Tonight solidified we will not be back. We heard they were under new ownership and wanted to patronize the local restaurant. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We first walked in and asked about the happy hour and were told that is was between 5-7. We sat down at 6:55 and was told they stopped at 7:00, it wasn't 7:00 yet. We were told that we could order draft beer for $2.50 which we did. Keep that note for later, $2.50. So we ordered the dough nuggets for an appetizer - they were tough and chewy . We then ordered a calzone and when it came out it was terrible. No ricotta cheese and the mozzarella cheese wasn't even melted and cold in the middle. Literally a pile of unmelted mozzarella cheese . Yup!! My wife and I were very disappointed in our food and will not return. Oh remember the $2.50 for the draft beer -the bill showed up with one beer for the $2.50 and the next $3.00, . Really. We used to love eating here and since we don't live on this side of town we would make a special trip to eat here. However after tonight we probably won't be revisiting this location and instead check out the winter park location. We we got there there were two people at the bar, one bartender and two servers. They took our order and we ordered an appetizer, salad and entree. We waited a good amount of time for our salads and appetizer while our server talked and joked with the people at the bar. And not much longer had our appetizers been brought out the other server brought out our entrees. I understand the food may have been ready but I don't want my appetizers and salad with my entree....it just seemed like such a waste and by the time I got to my entree it was cold. Our server didn't fill our drinks up or come by until the people at the bar left. She then gives us a Bill for 42$ and change but when we got our receipt for what we had been charged 3$ more was added to our bill and when we questioned she said it must have been tax or something needless to say your servers need to provide better service. read more
