This place is a joke, you order from them 3 times a week and then they screw your order up. You call back and they treat you like shit. We love going here for Sunday lunch. It's not real busy like some of the nearby sports bars, and they have a great Sunday special. You get they're fried dough appetizer, a 1 topping thin crust pizza, and a pitcher of beer for like $24. With 5 of us, my wife and I will order a small deep dish or some wings to go with it. And there are lots of tv's with the NFL package so you can watch your team play. You may need to ask them to change the channel if your team isn't popular around these parts, but they'll get right on it for you. A lot of apologies of why it didn't come out but it still took 25 minutes to come out. My dinner was OK but I'm on it restricted diet so I guess they did the best they could with what I wanted. The Chicago deep dish is pretty good..... we dined inside 2wks ago after they just opened. We started at the bar and then my husband decided to come up with our daughter so we moved to a table. First off they couldn't transfer the bar tab to the table, which I have never had an issue with in other restaurants. After we sat down at a table we never got our salads and they messed up the pizza with the toppings. They were out of chicken fingers for my daughter and it took 45mins for him to get wings. We never complained because it just opened and understand having issues after first opening. Tonight we did take out and was told my order would be 30mins. When actually the total wait time was an hour and 15mins. Which was the case for several others waiting too. They told me after I asked that the pizza was not done so, my wings sat and got soggy. I complained and asked to speak with the manager which, the staff should have already had the manager on deck considering my wait was so long and I was not happy. Then I get home and was missing all the blue cheese for my chicken wing orders. My mom ran up to grab the blue cheese and was given one, when I ordered 4! Then had to ask for for more. This place is a freaking mess and needs a serious overhaul in the people and the process! We won't be back! Whatever... we ordered- he scurried over to the empty bar for approx 15-18 min ?? Waitress strolls in the front door takes her time clocking yapping now joining the dishwasher at the bar. She finally comes over with some made up concoctions they threw together tasted like rusty nails and medicine- no apologies , no cares. Placed orders and that took at least another 30-35 min still no one in the restaurant!!! We were trying to be cool and patient while talking business but yukkkkkk that food was disgusting. The waitress was very nice. The food was absolutely awful!!! If you are looking for Italian food this is not the place to go. Ever!! Ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, immediately tell they frozen out of a box just thrown in the fryer, they arrived at the table, and weren't even hot they were warm as if they were sitting out. The ceasar salad had discolored chicken and you can tell they were prepackaged, not fresh grilled chicken at all, the chicken parmigiana the breading in the chicken was dark dark brown as if it was burned then refried and also was as thin as a potato chip just tasted awful. I felt as if I was eating the oil from 1980 that was never cleaned. The only good thing was the croutons on the salad and the garlic bread. The waitress politely took my meal off the check stating she knew the breaded chicken was too dark but said the chicken for the salad was discolored and blackish is because of the seasoning they used. I am crying right now! My favorite pizza and Italian beef place from Chicago has severely let me down for the fourth time. I must say the pizza is still excellent and the thin crust pepperoni sausage and mushroom is to die for. I would eat this at least once a week when I lived in Chicago for 20 years and my wife and kids loved it too. When they opened down here I was super excited and as soon as we found out they were local we had to go and get a couple of Cheefs and a pizza. The pizza has consistently been just as good as we remember and we will continue to order for this reason. Unfortunately the Italian beef has gone south and I mean that in the worst way. It doesn't taste the same as it did in Chicago and it isn't consistent. The Jardinere is still the bomb. I have ordered over a dozen Italian beef sandwiches over the last six months and perhaps two of them have come out as expected. They are usually under cooked and soggy from too much Au jus, And the kitchen can't seem to get it right whether you've ordered peppers on or off the sandwich and juice on or off the sandwich or on the side. I also have a feeling that the bread isn't sourced from the same bakery as the locations in Chicago so perhaps it is a matter of supply. Management has been consistently understanding and have comped us a pizza and offered to remake food for us. I also understand they changed out their kitchen manager recently but the quality of the Italian beef hasn't improved. I hope someday they can bring a few managers down from Chicago to show them how to do it right as I believe the Rosati's are probably spinning in their graves at the State of the sandwich quality down here. read more

I use to really enjoy Rosati's. BUT so sad to see that the service still is a disappointment going on 3 years of giving them my business. Every time I place an order, something is messed up. This time, I was given a 35 minute wait to pickup my order. I showed up on time, and then had to wait 15 minutes to be told my order would be another 15 minutes - meaning my order had not even been started. So, I am now at an hour and waiting to see if they can get my order right. I use to eat here weekly. Now, once every month or two. I imagine that they get other loyal customers frustrated enough to stop giving them their business. Total extra wait = 40 minutes. read more

Ok, the restaurant is at a great location and we all need a good neighborhood pizzeria. The bar is inviting, see many enjoying themselves. The food is very affordable and it is also cheep. Would not say the food is great. The place is extremely clean. Obviously it's looks like a pizzeria/ sport's bar. Lot's of very large TVs. You want this place to succeed. With regards to the experience, seems like new lighting is installed. Everything is bright. But all lighting is just above the big screen TV. Went last night for our first time. Food good. Service not so much. Was told it's happy hour so I ordered a Stella. After drinking said Stella, was told Stella is not part of happy hour. Would have been nice to have been told that when ordered. The dough bites are really good. A different server walked by our table and asked if she could pick up our half eaten dough bites. No! These are really good and we're still eating them! Meanwhile my completely eaten salad bowl with dirty napkins piled up in it gets left in front of me. This is all about the pizza. Deep dish pizza was terrible. The crust was like a cracker and the tomatoes on top seems like they opened up a can and poured them on top. Too much tomato. This place was such a disappointment. I'd heard good things and was looking forward to trying it. The waitress got our order completely wrong (1/2 Rosati's monster, 1/2 Hawaiian pizza). The Hawaiian pizza was supposed to have Canadian bacon, pineapple, cheese, bbq sauce, and pizza sauce. It came with Canadian bacon and pepperoni, not pineapple, and no bbq sauce. Rather than offering to re-do it, she brought me pineapple chunks to put on it myself. When I politely said it was not what I ordered, she apologized, but again, made no offer to do it again correctly. Then when the bill came, we were over-charged! They fixed that, but did not offer any additional discount for totally messing up my order. Plus our pizza sat at our table for about 5 minutes before they brought us plates to eat from. I arrived at 6:22 and got a table for 4. I sat there for 10 minutes before a server came up to me. I asked her a few questions about happy hour and asked if 1800 was included in happy hour. The server said she didn't know and would come back after asking the bar. 20 minutes went by and still no drink. She finally brought me a water and then disappeared again without answering the questions I had. My other friends showed up and weren't greeted by the server. By 6:50 we decided to let a manager know that we had been waiting for so long. The manager said she would take care of it and put our order in. Another 10 minutes went by and we still didn't have our drinks and saw the manager walking around trying to get the bingo game started. She brought us our drinks 5 minutes later. The manager ended up serving us. The food and bingo were good. After bingo my friends and I decided to move to the bar and thought it was weird that at 8:50 they had the lights all the way up. Just left there, and I have to say that the pizza was still as good as usual, but then there was our waitress. Summer was her name ... it does not get any worse than that for service, it started off with ordering drinks, we ordered two sodas for the kids and waters for the adults along with adult beverages, guess what no water for adults. We had to ask twice. Ordered apps with salad, no plates no silverware, we had to ask. Pizza came, once again no plates or silverware, we had to ask again. Never was asked for refills on drinks. Everything she brought to our table she set it down as far from us as she could so we had to reach for everything!!! Asked for silverware, her reply, "we have clean silverware but not rapped in napkins". The restaurant was not busy, you would think she could have taken a second to wrap the silverware, since that's how they serve them.
