My wife and I wandered past here when we were stopping by the neighboring sushi restaurant. We made a mental note to swing back by to try this out. We visited on a Thursday when we had a hankering for some pizza, and just happened to choose the night when they have a 13.99 16-inch pizza. We opted for a pepperoni pizza and took the (I believe she was the manager) manager's advice for the thin crust. We loved it! The pizza came out piping hot, in a traditional Chicago style, with tons of cheese. There is a signature Italian herb blend that really complements an otherwise simple pizza. I relocated to Colorado back in 2012, leaving behind great Chicago-style pizza. I grew up on Rosatis and always loved their delicious thin crust. I am beyond excited that this place is open and still serves amazing pizza. I think there is confusion online to whether this place is open (via google) and as of 4/4/2019 it is. There are a few tables available in the space to get your pie and eat a few slices. They also have jumbo slices to go and a full menu of Italian related dishes. Please give them a try! read more

This review only covers gluten free pizza. It is delicious! The thin crust gluten free is as good as it gets. Slightly crispy on the bottom. The sauce has the spices I like and is very flavorful. The cheese is good and toppings are a bit more sparse than I like but not unacceptably sparse by today's pizza making standards (I just really like them piled on). I did not get glutened. I did specify it was an allergy order. I also got the gluten free deep crust. Which looks great. But the crust on mine, out around the sides, was too hard to bite, chew or cut with a knife. We ended up eating the toppings off and giving the crusts to the dogs. It was hard like a rock. I hope they can work on this crust to make it edible as the pizza flavor was excellent. I did not get glutened on this pizza either. The other thing I liked was the guy I ordered from was friendly and said he would take special care. It makes you feel valued as a gluten free customer. We have ordered here a few times and there seem to be problems with the workers doing their job. I ordered a pizza today at 4pm for my husband to if I up on his way home from work, he finally walked out at 5:30pm with the pizza and it was a thin crust not deep dish. This happened once before and I let it go...not this time. There were a few customers in there with the same problem. I'm thinking I might try the Louisville location after this. My husband was very angry waiting for a pizza that should have only taken 20 minutes to make. The one by our house in Chicago would be ringing our doorbell 10 minutes after we placed the order. Ok so update my husband waits another 20 min after arrival of a 4 pm order, it was 438. Dude walks in orders a18 inch by pizza told it would be 20 minutes, he leaves to go to long soopers, comes back his pizza is ready! Wtf! Walks out with his za, husband goes off! Still waiting. Get pizza at 5:38, no Italian beef we ordered, takes another 15 minutes for that. Get it home, no French fries that were supposed to be with the order. Thanks. It's pretty good pizza and would be three stars except one of the Broomfield owners/managers is a total schmuck. My father and I went to pick up a pie and he reminded the people at the counter that Broomfield has an ongoing mask mandate due to Omicron. The staff was apologetic and started masking up but the owner interfered, got it my dad's face (with no mask) and told us if we don't like it we don't have to come back. Fine by us. If you are near 136th and Zuni looking for pizza I would try the King Soopers next door, they make fresh fire oven pizza 11am-7pm and it's a great value for $9 (try the ultra pepperoni) or if you drive down Zuni to 128th/Midway there is a brew pub called Frolic that makes better pizza and less expensive than Rosatis, we like their creamy buffalo chicken and the kids love the cheese pizza there. We are truck drivers that were stuck in a Denver hotel while our truck was being fixed. Wanted to get some wings or pizza and saw this place on Yelp. Reviews were mixed but we were limited with options so we decided to try it based on the pictures. Don't go there expecting what you see in the pictures. A lot of them are a few years old. We ordered bone in wings, boneless wings, cheese garlic bread and onion rings and a Pepsi for delivery. We received barely warm onion rings, bone in wings that my husband said were breaded, boneless wings and a Dr Pepper. When she showed up with the Dr Pepper I said we ordered Pepsi. She apologized and said she could go back and get a Pepsi and bring it to us. We decided to just get the $3 credit. Well then I found out the cheese garlic bread was missing so I called and they sent her back with the cheese garlic bread and the Pepsi. What we got was garlic bread with a tiny little bit of cheese on it, very disappointed, and a WILD CHERRY PEPSI! I saw the big word Pepsi and did not see the small wild cherry beneath it so I didn't say anything to the driver. Once we figured it out I called them again and nobody there noticed it either because they don't even stock wild cherry Pepsi. I asked if she wanted me to send a picture and she said no. But she did give me the $3 credit. We left the wild cherry Pepsi for the person that would be cleaning our room. Overall I thought the food tasted good but my husband was disappointed with his bone in wings and I was disappointed with the CHEESE garlic bread due to very little cheese! As I am always excited to try a new pizza place in town, I was jazzed to try them, especially given their Chicago cred. While I am not as familiar as a native would be, I am from the upper midwest so have more than just passing experience with Chicago-area pies. I started with the mozzarella sticks, which looked great, but in experience, were... strange. Somehow they've managed to figure out a way to bread and cook mozzarella sticks without having the cheese inside melt more than a token amount. Imagine taking a mozzarella string cheese stick, breading it and somehow cooking the breading only - that's what these were like. I literally don't know how they do it without having the cheese melt the way one is used to; the first one I bit into the cheese was still stiff and not even stretchy. Usually the interior of a mozzarella stick is a smooth, creamy and melted matter, but these were just somehow thick. They didn't taste bad, but they weren't at ALL what I expected from a mozzarella stick. Then on to the main course, a 12" thin. This is a Chicago thin, not a Milwaukee thin, so rather than an impossibly thin and crispy cracker crust, this is more like a somewhat thicker but still thin crust. Their italian sausage was flavorful without being spicy, something that trips me up at some pizza places where I sometimes have to go with the safer ground beef. The pizza was flavorful, but not really in any way... special to me. The flavor profile of the cheese, sauce and crust reminded me very much of frozen "Home Run Inn" pizzas, which are themselves based on a Chicago pizzeria recipe. It was definitely one of the better pizzas I've had in the area, but here comes the negative: the price. For a 12" thin with italian sausage and extra cheese, it was $17, which is rather on the high side. The mozzarella sticks were $7, which seems to be in the ballpark for them. In summary, am I glad I tried them? I have no real regrets, but would I return? No. To me, the two best pizzas in the Denver metro area can be found at the Mellow Mushroom on the 16th Street Mall and Nicolo's Chicago Style Pizza on Jewell in Lakewood (despite them being a chain of sorts, different Nicolo's taste DRASTICALLY different!) and the best pizza in the state is found at Pazzo's in Vail. read more

The Good: Staff was nice and helpful. Food came out around the time they indicated. My wife liked her thin crust style pizza, and the house red wine was good/drinkable. All good things. The Bad: I will definitely not order the 'Chicago style' pizza again. It was significantly overpriced I ordered the 'Chicago Style' and asked for classic combo. They advised I must order toppings separately and no more than 4. So I ordered the smallest 10" Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom and Onion. The cost of that pizza came out to $25.99, and it was not a ton of food either. Rosati's gimmick with Chicago style is that they put the sauce on top... So think first crust, then cheese, toppings, and lastly tomatoes. The result is a thin crust with warm/melted cheese, undercooked toppings and an excessive amount of tomato sauce / chunky tomatoes on top. There is no flavorful caramelized bubbly cheese that one would typically expect. You need to dig through tons of tomatoes to get to the toppings and cheese. Meanwhile, the crust is thin, almost cracker-like, with no chew at all and no flavor. It is far cry from either a New York Style crust (think slightly fermented flavor, chewy texture) or a common deep dish (buttery, crispy edges, thicker and doughy). In summary... 1) the staff is friendly and management is doing a decent job 2) the pizza style and flavor is not for everyone, and I for one am not a fan of either a) the crusts, or b) their version of "Chicago style" pizza. 3) the Chicago style is overpriced by at least 40%. On my opinion, that 10", 4-topping pizza should have been $18 rather than $26. I hope they find their loyal fan base and survive! But sadly, i don't think I'll be eating there much, even though it's walkable from my house. read more

I got a free pizza coupon so I thought I'd try it the staff, was supper friendly, and helped the overwhelmingness of coming in for the first time. I ordered a Chicago style Hawaiian pizza. The crust tasted homemade and exceeded my expectation. The cheese, ham, and pineapple all tasted great my only 2 issues with the pizza were the sauce it was over the cheese and toppings and was a little bland but it did seem homemade also, my other issue was how they make the Chicago style. It's sorta like a half pipe, the main part where all the toppings are the crust is a little thin but the back has a rounded top. I also ordered a fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and that was absolutely amazing. The Alfredo was soft but really tasty. All in all I would go back for the pasta. The pizza was good, but not really my type of pizza so I wasn't a fan of it. read more

I've had Rosati's three times and it is pretty good pizza! The most recent visit was on a Friday night. We ordered online and went to pick it up and while there was a significant delay, it wasn't worth complaining about more than once. A Karen did start loudly verbalizing her frustrations and no other customers engaged with her. We were all waiting patiently, understanding that many restaurants are understaffed and/or dealing with new employees. We decided to order through the Rosati's website on Saturday 7/4, we received confirmation that it would be 45 minutes for delivery. After an hour, I decided to call the store to ensure they had our order and to see how much longer it would be. The call was auto-answered and told me a team member would be with me shortly, after 10 minutes, I was disconnected. So, I called back, again same message and after 10 minutes, I was disconnected, so now it's been an hour and 20 minutes we have been waiting. My husband drove up to Rosati's and indeed, they were closed. Website did not indicate they were closed, phone did not indicate they were closed and the doors were locked, but yet their OPEN sign was displayed. So, we ended up getting McDonalds.... I called on 7/5 to let them know what happened and they told me they would issue a refund to my card for the amount. Here we are now on Tuesday the 7th and the charge was NOT reversed, but yet went through from auth to a physical charge. So, I still have no pizza and I now have to dispute through my bank, which can take up to 90 days..... Pretty Amazing that they can keep my money and not refund me for a service that they did not provide. I wonder who gets the driver tip I added? Try to support local business and you end up being out $60 bucks and no one tries to help you. They also sent me a survey on Monday asking me how my pizza and service was. I filled it out and ZERO response. It's annoying when a business sends you a survey and then does nothing with the information you provide. If you want to know what it's like to taste food with absolutely no flavor then this is the spot.
