Stop rewarding the jerks. Good pizza, great beer, good atmosphere. This business absolutely gets it. They're landlocked by their space, but they're doing a great job managing it. HOWEVER, tonight I witnessed something disappointing. They rewarded a jerk who came in and complained that the wait was too long and there were open tables. That sat him (and his party of six) ahead of two parties of two who arrived ahead of him. Yes, the tables were unoccupied, but they were also yet to be cleared. I get that the two tables were better served to accommodate the party of six, but really, you're sending this jerk the message that if he complains, he'll get what he wants. Small point, but worth mentioning. I spoke to the manager about it and he handled it like a champ. He mentioned that the space limited their ability to use that table for two four tops. I say give them to two two tops and make the six wait. Whatever. He probably served more people faster. Again, I love this place and I'll be back. Look forward to their coming expansion. The pizza was a little undercooked, tonight as they were in a rush, but again, it is what it is. In the long run, a well-run business that treats customers well. Go check 'em out. read more

It's a good place but specialty pizza's are a little pricey - such as the $21 medium Hawaiian...which has to be one the cheapest specialty pizza's to make (two items - ham and pineapple). Overall this is a decent place and a good alternative to the more traditional style places in the area but be warned - weekends get busy and you can expect a wait on those evenings. read more

Love their deep dish- just remember it takes longer to cook. Easy to order on line and pick up food at the pick up counter. Usually my food is ready when I arrive and the transaction is processed quickly. The lasagna is also really good. Inside it can be a little loud with the noise of the tv's and people talking. As a huge fan of Chicago style pizza nothing pleases me more than to see a Chicago pizza pub located in the South where Barbecue is King. I've grown to really love Barbecue but if I had to choose between Brisket or ribs and Deep dish or thin crust, id choose the Zaa all day long. My group of 8 went in expecting good pizza and we were not disappointed. We tried the thin and double crust pizza. Both were great, but the double crust was the table favorite. We were pleasantly surprised at what an awesome place Rosati's is to watch sports. Evidently the kitchen staff didn't expect the crowd that arrived Saturday night. Found a picnic table outside on the patio. Waiter was fine but took 47 minutes to bring our small pizza. Pizza was good, cut Chicago style in squares, but could've used more sauce. Priced a little high but okay. They had a teenage band (2 guys on guitar, girl singer) playing on the patio and while they enjoyed themselves they were too loud for any conversations at tables outside. I'm from Chicago and love the pizza. The service tonight was horrible from the time my family and I walked through the doors. They did not get the pizza right the first time and offered a replacement to go. So we did before it got busy. We've waited more than 45 minutes at the table with no one paying any attention to us. I hate to write reviews "just because we had a negative experience." But I have to warn you...we came to watch the USA-Portugal game and left with our food to go because it had taken so long to come out that our 2-year old was starving (and having a meltdown as a result). Prior to the incredibly long wait for our food (the entire first half), we were too busy swatting at the variety of fly species flying around us to really pay any attention to the game. It was also incredibly hot inside the restaurant - is there air conditioning in there? They should try putting it on. Our service was lackluster. Our waitress came over to take our order promptly, but then never returned until I flagged her down 40 minutes later to tell her we needed to get our food to go. (At that point, my husband and son had gone outside). 10 minutes after that, our food arrived. We didn't order that much! And the food actually wasn't bad - the kid's pizza was a great size for $5, the Chopped Salad was huge and fantastic, my husband was very happy with the wings, and we each tried a few bites of the meatball parm sub and that was pretty good as well. Unfortunately, we won't be back. There are too many better places in this same area to have to wait that long for food and deal with subpar service. read more

Always had positive experience coming here but the last few times the pizzas were not at par. Excessive cheese, lack sauce, and not cut all the way... The last time I had an ordered delivered and the pizzas were burnt on the bottom. We got a coupon for free dough bites so we decided to try this place out. I hated the dough bites. There has never been a breadstick that I didn't like before. The marinara was very good, but the bites were soaked in grease and had awful flavor. When we ordered the small deep dish we were told it would take 45 to 55 minutes. They had good beer prices so we had some beer and the wait wasn't a big deal. The deep dish was good, but was short on toppings and didn't have the mounds of cheese that they advertised. I asked if I should order extra cheese and she said no because there is so much already. I would go back and get different ingredients and extra cheese. Also would go for a different appetizer. Not a bad place though. The server was a little annoying, she barely came over but when she did she said the same thing every time. "Is there anything I can get you right this second?" Just got old very fast. Better service and ordering extra toppings would have made this a much better visit. read more

I ordered take out as we are from Chicago originally and we loved the Italian Beef sandwiches. The deep dish pizza is tasty - it does take 20 - 30 minutes for them to make it so plan for that. The kids menu and pasta is also good. We love having a taste of Chicago in the FoCo. I want to check out their live music and trivia night as well. read more

First time in this evening and came away impressed. First, the vibe is very nice. We sat outside and there were plenty of heaters to keep us warm while still having access to the bar. The pizza which was my prime curiosity was excellent. Yes, I'm the typical Northeastern guy who claims to know good pizza. To me, it always comes down to the sauce and the thin crust I ordered was incredibly good. Before ordering I though it a bit pricey but when it arrived it was significantly larger than expected and well worth the price. I didn't try the deep dish so I'll leave that review for the Chicago crowd. Our service was good but not overly personable. A nice pizza and wing place. The pizza was great and the service was very friendly. We shared the chopped salad that was fresh and had plenty of toppings. It was a good sized meal on it's own and a nice size to share before the pizza. The pizza is fresh and cooked to order and my only complaint is the time it takes to get the pizza to the table. It was a good 45 minute wait on a non busy Thursday night- that is a long time with a kid. But the beer selection is good, the televisions are everywhere and you can turn the channel to watch your game. A nice, friendly, reasonably priced place. We will be back. read more

What happened with Rosati's thin crust pizza today? It was disappointing. The crust was falling apart and the square slices were the size of a quarter. When you pulled the slices apart it fell apart. Fantastic Pizza! We tried the Deep Dish Chicago style and the thin crust and we can honestly say it was the best pizza we have had locally. We have lived in the Northeast and have had some great pizza in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York City. This ranks up there with the pies we have had, a great thing for us northerners in the south. Malinati's in Chicago will always have my heart for deep dish but this is very close! Tried deep dish god father pizza and wasn't impressed at all. It took forever for the pizza to come out and when it did it was watery looking on top like they poured can of stewed tomatoes on top. Went there a year ago with my wife and the deep dish pizza was incredible loved it. Cumming needed a good chicago deep dish restaurant. I have only went there twice since then and the quality of the pizza has gone straight downhill. The first thing we noticed was that the place had mostly teenagers working there, unlike our first visit . When we cut into the pizza cheese went everywhere very little sausage on it, too bad. It's a shame because now we have to drive to Midtown to get a Good Chicago style deep dish. read more

Chicago themed so our Chicago friends like it but I personally have had a lot better pizza when I was in Chicago. They have a nice outside patio w/ live music so in Spring and Summer it's a nice place to go sit outside and have a pie and a few beers but still overpriced... We have been to Rosatis numerous times and had delivery twice. Not once, has our order be correct. On our first visit, we waited over two hours - and still never received our deep dish pizza. We've waited 45 mins for an appetizer, had our pizza burnt, food comes out cold and never correct. The staff appears to be stoned, wears their hats sideways and could care less about providing quality food with great service. Food (which is not inexpensive) is really good when it is done right. No amount of gift cards can make us return. After multiple disappointments, we are done! Final note, Why is this location no longer on the corporate Rosatis web site? If you have two hours to spare, an immense amount of patience, enjoy having stoned waitstaff and don't mind paying top dollar for substandard food...... Then make your way to Rosatis in Cumming! read more
