This was our second visit in to this restaurant and we loved it. The staff is so nice and ready to make suggestions and answer all of our questions. They also have a playroom for kids to entertain themselves which is so nice for keeping them busy! The Chicken Majestic was hands down my favorite but everything we ordered was so good. My husband is a sports enthusiast and he's very picky about sports bars. I did not want to go to the local sports bar as I was not excited about the food choices that they have there. So we decided to try Rang and I will definitely say that it was a pleasant surprise! The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu, and because I do not like my food super spicy, she was able to point me in the right direction of what to order. Our food tasted amazing. Husband had the goat and I had the chicken and also some samosas and naan to start out with. I'm so happy to have this establishment in our neighborhood and I cannot wait to get back there! Went to this establishment yesterday to check it out for an upcoming event. Had dinner here. The food is excellent - a bit on the spicy side but that is understandable considering the cuisine - Andhra - it offers. They have a sports bar vibe with lots of posters, TVs facing every table and a wide menu offering Indian and burgers and grilled fish fare. We ordered a mixed veggie and a house goat curry. It came with rice and we ordered tandoori rotis. Both dishes were well made and delicious. Roti was a bit thin but freshly made. Moksha was our server and she was efficient and very pleasant to talk to. Ambience is ok, basic tables and chairs - nothing really fancy. Definitely a good place for spicy andhra food. read more

I have been here couple times. Food and Service is consistent. Tava Fish was standard. Their Apollo fish has been consistently good Chicken Apps like Majestic and garlic lemon was good. We really like their chicken fried rice. Service is good but I think it would be good not to bother customers for review after every order and wait until they are actually done. I have had bad experiences at Indian restaurants including tea, Refrigerated cold Biryani at a place next to Suvidha.... But Rang did not disappoint 3-4 times we have been there. read more

I've never really had Indian food before. Our family moved in the area and this restaurant is literally walking distance from us. We went on whim one night since it was the most convenient option. Wow this place is great! The food is unbelievably good! Everyone in my family including my two young boys loved it. Each dish we ordered was so flavorful. My decision to try the Butter Chicken is pretty typical of a white American. Usually safe, like Chicken Tikka Masala. It was beyond my expectations. Great flavor and perfectly seasoned. I've been to this "location" multiple times when it was four different restaurants over 15 years. They all were pretty terrible, until Local Kitchen & Tap. Then... for no good reason, Local sold out the location to RANG. What the heck. I thought I'd give them a try. The food was not high quality, the beer selection is terrible, and the service... Well... I am definitely NOT a bigot, but all the servers are Indian. And they speak with such a thick accent (and way too fast) that I couldn't understand a single word the waiter was saying... and he babbled on incessantly about totally unrelated and uninteresting stuff. He couldn't even tell that I wasn't interested. He just droned on and on. You know those waiters who try WAY TOO HARD??? Yeh... I'm going to rescue myself from this place, and not coming back. We stopper by Rang on a Tuesday night. The service was excellent. The menu was divided into traditional bar fare and fusion food. One of the owners, Sunil, stopped at our table and made recommendations. He was very friendly and listened to things we like and don't like. We started by sharing the crispy salmon, the garlic chicken skewer, and champagne shrimp, all recommended by Sunil. The salmon was cooked perfectly and came with a delicious, light sauce that also paired well with the potatoes that came with it. The shrimp were also cooked perfectly and had a delicious creamy garlic sauce. The chicken skewers were super tender and flavorful and had a nice spice to them. For our main course, we shared mild shrimp fried rice and medium chicken fried rice. Both were delicious! The medium was pretty spicy but flavorful. We preferred the mild rice because the flavor of garlic that came through was excellent. The owner expressed his interest in being involved in the community. They have a great space for large parties and are open late. They play Lambert High School games on the big screen giving it a good sports bar feel. Disclaimer: I'm white I had never tried Indian food before, but my friends wanted me to try it so Rang was the closest Indian restaurant! When we first went in it was empty but had a lovely environment, so it made me skeptical at the lack of customers. Our waiter was very tentative and kind as we figured out the menus. We ordered paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, and garlic naan to start us off. The food was ready so fast! When I tell you this was some of the best food I've ever had, I'm not joking. As someone who sometimes can't take spice it was the perfect spice level. The spices brought a world of flavor and both the chicken and the paneer was perfectly cooked. Trying the paneer tikka masala on the naan with the rice was just amazing. As we were thoroughly enjoying our meal, The owner came up to us and treated us like family and even gave us a free appetizer of the champagne shrimp which was again mouthwatering. The sauce and the shrimp paired perfectly with eachother. Next we ordered a chicken dum biryanni which was so good. The rice was so flavorful with the tenderness of the chicken. And they were perfect portion sizes at that. Lastly, we ordered two desserts to split: Gulab Jamun with vanilla icecream, and our waiter recommended Double Ka Meetba. Both desserts were plated beautifully and the taste even better. I genuinely found some of my new favorite dishes here. Some things to note besides this: the service was outstanding I mean just amazing. Not only did they give us a free appetizer but gave me a free refill on my tasty Shirley temple when they don't give free refills. The other thing was as I went with a group of four sharing all these dishes the price outcome was shocking. It was around 60$ making each of us only have to pay 15$ each!
