Just ordered (and attempted to eat) Rosati's. My family is staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Mt Prospect and wanted to order in for the night. The menu that is offered inside the room says "Order Inn" and thought we'd give it a shot. I thought it might me risky but decided anyway. We placed our order and learned the it was Rosati's. They serve pretty good food, so I thought. When the food arrived, an hour later we were starving. The food looked pretty good but then my son mentioned that his burger was burnt and he couldn't eat it. My wife tried the burger and said it was inedible. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. It was huge! When I tried biting into it, it was very dry and crunchy. Not what I was expecting and couldn't finish it. The side salad was good though. Who can mess that up?? My daughter order "boneless wings". When she opened the container you can tell that they were just chicken nuggets and also over cooked/fried. Overall, we were very hungry and finished what we could, but I don't recommend ordering there again. They should just stick (and stay) with their mediocre pizza. read more

A giant slice of medium crust sausage pizza and a coke will run you less than $4. I'm a hearty eater... especially when it comes to pizza... and I'm here to tell you that this was enough for a meal. A great lunch option from that perspective. A full menu is available, and the dining room is spacious and comfortable. Looks like this wouldn't be a terrible place to get dinner if you lived in the area... 4 kinds of draft beer are available; beer being a prerequisite to dining out for pizza in my own view of the world. read more

I've been craving A slice of pepperoni/jalapeño pizza from Rosati's for the longest time. I finally broke down and ordered a small pizza. My total for a small pizza with 2 toppings a side of ranch and a side of pizza sauce came to $19 and some change for pick up!!! When I got to the restaurant to pick the pizza up I asked him if he had any coupons and his reply to me questioning the price was that I wasn't at a papa johns... I'm well aware of the cost of pizza I love pizza and was quite offended by his remark. Rosati's is typically the last place I order from and now I know why. This is probably the worst Rosati's I've been to. I opted for pick up so I wouldn't have to wait an hour for delivery and still ended up waiting over an hour for my pizza! Ordered through grub hub waited for my eta went to pick up my food and was told that it was never sent to the restaurant. I tried showing my conformation from grub hub but the trumping manager refused to look and kept insisting no order existed so before I called grub hub I asked him to double check and he begrudgingly acquiesced. Came back didn't apologize and said it was in the oven and to wait like 5 min. Well I waited 25 more min ( the rest of my lunch) and he had forgotten about me all the white folk got smiles and pleasant service so who knows when it was actually ready but I got cold af pizza with a side of minority treatment. You cannot go wrong with Rosatis thin crust pizza. It's a staple and a given that you're gonna get decent pizza, but I wouldn't try anything fancy here. Just stick tot hun crust and you won't be disappointed. There cheese fries are decent too. read more

I had no intention of eating here. But my flight was delayed, AA put me up in a hotel, and gave me a voucher for dinner. The hotel gave me two delivery menus saying they each would accept the voucher. I chose Rosati's because it had a picture of some old looking Italian guys on the front. Glad I did. I can truly say Rosati's is my favorite thing about this unplanned trip to Chicago. The deep dish Chicago pizza was first and foremost delicious. It arrived on time, was reasonably priced, and came with all the necessary accoutrements. I highly recommend this location, even if you aren't stuck here because of a missed flight! read more

Location is a bit off as it's on the north side of Algonquin at the intersection of Algonquin and Busse. I've tasted other Rosati's locations and this place doesn't quite match up. Some things are pretty good here like their wings or chicken strips or some of their salads. The pizza tends to be really greasy and very very salty. My workplace orders from here at times and a few times items actually came partially frozen which of course days it was probably nuked at one point or just reheated. The night delivery guy was always rude and that was kind of the last stone. The place itself is actually pretty nice for small groups but a shame the grub it's not up to par. Plenty of other pizza spots in the area to choose from. read more

Rosati's Pizza recently catered a lunch for us at one of our sites out in the western 'burbs. I have not dined in, so my review is only for delivery. The Good Food: We ordered several 18" thin crust pizzas & each and every one of them was excellent! The pizzas had a crispy crust, and the toppings were plentiful. These are their largest pizzas and serve 5-6 people. My favorite was probably the mushroom/green pepper/onion pizza, yum! We also ordered a full tray of garden salad which was also very fresh, had plenty of veggies, and came with several different containers of dressing. Easy ordering: Very user-friendly website making it easy to order online. However, I had a tax exempt number so had to call in to place the order. I called the day before since I wanted to give them a heads up on a large order. They were very friendly. The food got there on time & was very fresh and hot! The Bad When I ordered, I asked if they could provide plates, cups (we ordered several 2-liters of soft drinks) & utensils and I was assured they would include those and even asked how many we needed. However, when we opened up the bags of stuff (AFTER the delivery man left) we found that they neglected to add cups and forks! So we had to resort to using Dixie cups from the water cooler & our fingers for the salad so a big minus point for that. Had it not been for the mis-communication pertaining to the utensils, I would have no qualms giving this place 5 stars. The food was great & the delivery was reliable. Expect to pay around $20 for each of their largest thin crust pizzas, however, look on their website for coupons where you can get up to $3 off. read more

I live less than a mile from you yet you want me to wait in your store for 20 minutes while you cook a slice instead of allowing me to order over the phone and give me a pickup time. First time in Des Plaines and Chicago area. We stayed in Des Planes and ordered some pizza. Wed never had Chicago deep dish before. We were not disappointed. It was absolutely amazing. I don't like to call the one in Niles on Milwaukee Ave. they have no phone manners they have very bad customer service, so we go to the one Glenview on Milwaukee and Lake Ave. however I was ordering for a delivery since the conversation started he started to give me a bad customer service like he did not want me to call at all at the end he said that I should call the one in Niles since they are closer, but I said thank you but no thank you, at the end I will never order pizza from there ever again! I use to eat Rosati's all the time when I lived in Phoenix a decade ago; as I was super homesick for some Chicago pizza. Now that I am back home, it is one of those establishments that's great for a quick bite to eat, like a slice to go. The quality of the pizza is fine for my taste and if anything it brings back a little nostalgia as it was the one link I had to remind me of home. This location was quite empty but the service makes up for it and I had a pleasant experience as a result. The small 12-inch pizza was just enough to fill me up and the toppings of sausage and pepperoni were delightful. I'd come back around if I am craving pizza in this area again. read more

12-21-15 I just had the worst home delivery experience with the worst customer service ever. At 6pm I ordered a pizza for home delivery and using a free delivery coupon,. The kid on the phone confirmed my address and that I was paying cash. An hour and a half later (7:30) they call me and asked if I ordered a pizza to be picked up. I said no delivered ...They said they would send it out. I said that it has been sitting there for and hour and a half and they should send me fresh one. I told her get the manager. He refused to talk to me and I was told they would send a fresh one and it would take an hour. I reminded them that I was just 4 blocks away. I should be the next pizza out the door by this time with a discount. Again she had to speak to the manager who still would not get on the phone. I was told it would not take an our but no price break. They still knew my address and the coupon info because it was ALWAYS marked for delivery. Another hour ,... It is now 8:30, 2 and a half hours from my initial order. I called and it STILL hadn't gone out for delivery. The manager still refused to talk to me and I was told they would take 50% off.. My husband and I ordered from here this evening. I got an antipasto salad. The lettuce was very old. 70% of the lettuce was brown and there was some that was so old that it turned into dark black mush. I was disgusted and couldn't even eat it. I can't believe that a restaurant would even serve a salad like this! The fried mushrooms were a mound of mush. They tasted terrible! If I could give this place zero stars I would. Tried this place twice...gave it the benefit of the doubt twice...failed us twice. First time was no biggie but I did want wings and somehow they were out of wings? Ok. Most recent time is what upset me and prompted a review. We ordered a pizza on a Friday probably at 6PM, ordered an 18 inch italian beef/hot giardinaira (or however its spelled!), a small cheese, and wings. What did we get? An 18 inch mushroom and veggie pizza! Mind you for italian beef and other topping it was an extra $8. The response when i called was to send out a new pizza...i said no thats fine we have company and we cant really wait another 30 min can we have a credit for a pizza for next time? Answer i got was NOPE best they could do was a free topping on my next order. We had Rosatis catering our daughters 2nd birthday party. We ordered 4lbs of beef on the recommendation from the order taker on amount of people we were having at the party. The beef sandwiches were a hit!!! I can't remember when I've had Italian beef catered so well!!! The flavor of the juice was intoxicating, I saw several people take seconds myself included. This is absolutely the best deal for dinner under $8. Personal pizza (I had pepperoni & basil topping) along with a drink. Very good pizza here. I have had the sandwiches also which are very good but they cost slightly more. I love this place. It is my Friday dinner spot when I have no where to be and I save so much money. The people here are so nice. They have big screen TV's playing more than just sports. Absolutely a place you should try. Oh yeah I have to comment on how CLEAN the place is. I have ordered wings twice from here and both times received some wings with half meat on them. They looked terrible and shouldn't be sent out or served. Rasati's pizza lacked a decent atmosphere, courtesy, and good customer service. I came in with a couple friends, it was two of our first times in Chicago, and we were on the hunt for a good deep dish pizza, which is exactly what we ordered. What we got however, was a very very flat pizza, on essentially cracker bread. The taste of Chicago was also unfortunately not present, and when we pointed out to the employee that we'd ordered deep dish, he only argued and pointed out how much more expensive deep dish would have been for us. We left the restaurant very soured by the experience, and if we ever return to Chicago, we will not be returning to Rosati's. read more
