We decided on Little Angelo's for pizza, before a show at Allstate Arena when surrounding places had over an hour wait for a table. It is very small inside but there's also a place to stand and eat, if you don't mind eating right outside the bathroom doors, that is! Patio seating was nice, even with a slight drizzle and some wind. (Still thought it was a better option eating outside rather than a few feet from a toilet). It is a very casual place and the pizza was pretty decent. Thin, cracker like crust with plenty of cheese and not too much sauce. It was reminiscent of the thin crust pizza of my childhood days that we used to bring home on a circle of cardboard in a big paper sleeve, stapled shut. Core pizza memories unlocked! Enjoyed some ice cold local beer and selzer options with our pizza and fried veggie basket with ranch...just so we could say we ate some veggies that meal. This place is open late so you can return after a show and finish with a drink or a slice. I would definitely return for the pizza. read more

A hidden gem you wouldn't necessity expect. The menu is pretty extensive and there are many items off menu that are available. In today's restaurant scene it's less common to find a chef that still prepares food to truly satisfy each customer. My wife and I came for a casual dinner and were blown away. Turns out it was less than that, not a long wait at all - considering it's a Chicago style. It's a small restaurant with seating inside but you may be waiting for a table if it gets busy. Super fast service and the food was great! We had the pepperoni and sausage pizza slice. It's great they serve it by the slice. We had the Fettuccine Alfredo, Greek Salad, and the buffalo Wings! All were great and cook to perfection. The buffalo sauce on the wings is a spicy so if you can't handle spice maybe get it on the side so you can add to your liking. If you feel adventurous maybe ask for more ranch or blue cheese to take away the heat. The fettuccine Alfredo came with a side of breadsticks and they have Parmesan cheese if you would like to add more cheese. The slices of pizza are more like pan pizza but they taste great and the bread is cook right. The Greek salad was great and everything was fresh. The wings tasted great, but they could have been better with the ranch i ordered but never received. Okay minor mistake onto the pizza. I ordered a thin crispy crust with sausage and jalapeños. I opened the box and the cheese whales white as a gallon of milk. Fine maybe it's still crispy but the cheese is just not brown. I take some pieces and instead of it being thin and crispy, it's thin, flaccid and barely cooked. The outside pieces are salvageable but the inside is just gross. You can taste the undercooked flour in the dough. A thin crust crispy pizza should not require a fork. This is hands down the worst pizza I have ever ordered. Complete garbage! read more

On a trip to Chicago and when we were staying at the embassy suites and decided that we would order in, there was a menu from little angelos. The pizza looked appealing, but since we stay out of town we decided to get some of our favorites. An Italian beef sandwich, which was tasty as all get out and we added hot Italian Giardiniera and peppers, it was delicious we polished the whole thing off. We also had and amazing meatball sandwich which was perfect because it came with three meatballs, they were perfect a seasoned well, and the Italian sausage was equally delicious!
