* Fresh and Delicious * * Clean * * Wonderful Staff * Mod Pizza is a fantastic concept. Pick your fresh ingredients and a few minutes later, tada! A delicious personal pizza. Seems to be a hit or miss with the speed of the order. I can only assume there were many call in orders on the slower days. Will definitely be back. Next time I will be sure to give myself more time.

Took my kids here for the first time and the staff seems like they don't know what they are doing. They seemed grumpy and when I asked how big the kids size pizza was they just glared at me and said 6 inches. Yes I know but I'd like to see it. Then I ordered shakes, the girl behind the counter making the shake admitted to a coworker that she didn't know how to make them. Talking to the same coworker she said the vanilla shake was undrinkable unless you stirred it and the other coworker said "just give it to them" Well she was right my son wasn't able to drink it and of course we got the shakes with ice cream dripping off the sides. They could have at least wiped them down.

Friendly staff, great ingredients, and tasty pizzas! So happy this place is close by, convenient, and affordable. Definitely on our weekly rotation.

So I have been waiting to see what they were going to put in this location after Pei Wei closed, and I'll just say I am so happy it was a pizza place!! (Pizza is my favorite food) If anyone is familiar with BLAZE Pizza the concept here is exactly the same except they only charge you for the pizza. If you want 100 toppings it is no extra cost! They also have different crust options which is amazing. You can call this the Subway of the pizza world. I got 2 pizzas...one of their menu pizzas called "tristen" and I did a create your own. Both were on the double crust (love that dough!) They are still new so you can tell they haven't gotten their flow down yet, as there were some hiccups, but that is expected. Everyone was super friendly though and you could tell they were having fun on the job. I took a pre-tasting bite out of my pizza before I left and I'm quite pleased! I will for sure check into this place quite often. MOD FOR THE WIN!

We had a really nice time last weekend at Bar Salotto. While they do not take reservations, we did…read morenot have a wait - and it was an enjoyable experience in the back room. We were able to snag a back table so not loud and we can hear the whole table. We started with the Hearts of Palm salad to share. It was perfect to share with three people as a starter and we all loved the lemon vinaigrette. For entrees - I got the thin crust Garden Pizza special - artichokes, pesto, pine nuts, other veggies. I thought it was delicious and it reheated very nicely the next day. Others at the table - got the salmon, sausage pizza and spicy vodka pasta. Everyone enjoyed. Our server (AJ) was fabulous and joked with the table - he made the experience enjoyable as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. While we're not in Arlington Heights often, it is a place I would recommend.

The evening began with the sort of optimism that has historically led men into bankruptcy, war, and…read moresecond marriages. The hostess appeared wearing a blue-and-white striped sweater hanging off one shoulder like she'd stepped out of an Italian perfume commercial. Around her neck was one of those little cornicello pepper necklaces, dangling just enough to suggest fate had finally decided to throw me a bone. Blue eyes. Not "blue." The kind of blue sailors used to abandon families over. She laughed at one of my jokes. That was all the encouragement my diseased brain required. I immediately conducted a full tactical assessment of the restaurant. The P.O.A. Index... ...was approaching DEFCON 1. Every direction I looked was another devastatingly attractive waitress carrying Aperol Spritzes with effortless confidence. It was like wandering into a government-funded supermodel relocation program. Then... A shadow fell across the table. A man. Our waiter was a man. Christ Almighty. The emotional whiplash nearly snapped my neck. It's like going to the zoo hoping to see lions and discovering the enclosure has been replaced with an accountant named Kevin. There are beautiful women everywhere, and somehow I'm discussing pasta recommendations with a guy who probably knows three different olive oils by taste. Cruel. Absolutely cruel. To his credit, the b@5tard was outstanding. Friendly. Fast. Knew the menu inside and out. Kept the drinks full. Never interrupted. The s.o.b. gave me absolutely nothing to complain about, which only deepened my resentment. The food, meanwhile, was infuriatingly good. The pizzas arrived looking like they'd been blessed by an Italian grandmother carrying unresolved anger from 1947. Thin crust. Fresh mozzarella. Just enough char to remind you that ovens are supposed to flirt with fire, not electricity. The pasta had that unmistakable handmade texture that makes Olive Garden feel like a felony. The cocktails disappeared with alarming speed. By my third Negroni, I was convinced I could hear Dean Martin narrating my life. Walking out, I glanced back toward the hostess one last time. She smiled. For approximately three seconds I considered abandoning my entire life to become a part-time sommelier with absolutely no qualifications. Then reality returned. The male waiter handed me the check. Four stars. The food was phenomenal. The cocktails were dangerous. The hostess should be classified as an Italian national treasure. And our waiter deserves a raise... despite committing the unforgivable crime of existing between me and the waitresses.

Very cute place with great oldies music, played at a comfortable level. Fantastic service!…read more My husband loved his food: cheesy garlic bread, one sausage slice and one pepperoni slice. Sadly, no vegan options, even the salads had meat and cheese. There was one Veggie Sub that I could have ordered without cheese, but nobody was able to give me an answer if the bread contained dairy or egg. They also were unable to show me the packaging so that I could read the ingredients. They do offer a "gluten-free" pizza, but for true Celiacs, are unable to confirm that it does NOT come in contact with any gluten. So, safe for anyone who is not a true Celiac and chooses to eat gluten-free. Bonus: Buy 2 slices, get a cola free! Perhaps not the best move for the business, as they sell a DELICIOUS slushy lemonade.

It is very casual and welcoming, and it honestly feels like a place that has something for everyone. We ordered the cheese pizza, veggie pizza, mozzarella sticks, and fries and everything came out fresh and satisfying. The pizza was super cheesy and the sides were a great addition. They also have a lot of dessert options, which was a nice surprise. We tried the black cherry and mango Italian ice, Eli's plain cheesecake, tiramisu, and a chocolate chip cookie and everything was really good. Another fun touch is the mini arcade inside, which makes it a great spot for families, groups, or just a laid back meal. Overall a great casual pizza spot with tons of options and desserts. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Arlington Heights or Hoffman Estates area.

So it was off our list for a while. We've now started eating at the bar, which gets us away from much of the noise, and the food and service are still excellent. Today two of us came for lunch; our server Clarissa was very attentive to my guest's need for a gluten-free meal, and also cheerfully got the pounding music turned down so we could hear each other talk. If only there was a way to address the noise issue overall, I would be happy to give this place five stars...!

It seemed like they had it made due to beating their top selling plate. The chicken had a rubbery feeling, for sure did not meet the hype. We ordered it and it was served very fast. In the other hand, their "Pesto Cavatappi" was served warmed and you could tell it was just made. The chicken on this dish tasted very good and the texture was very different from the Chicken Parm. I would recommend this dish instead of their number one as it was told to us by the server. We ordered two cappuccinos and their Flourless Chocolate Cake. Both cappuccinos were very milky and not warm enough. The dessert was really good but it also took a while to get it. We were half way done with our cappuccinos. Price - I feel they are priced too high for a chicken dish and pasta. Although it is a good portion it is still chicken and pasta. It was $31 for the chicken parm and $26 for the Cavatappi. The dessert was $12 It was a busy day but they should still keep their standards and serve food with the right temperature. I will give it another change for sure.
