I really love this place!I'm so glad our family found it because my husband is a pizza contiseur and he gives it the golden seal of approval.I'm not a huge pizza fan but for this place I make an exception.We have ordered their version of a stuffed crust and their large hand tossed pizza's,thier spaghetti and salads.All of them were excellent with very punctual delivery,their staff is always so polite when I call in the order.The one time I had to go in and deal with them personally was a nice experience and the employees helped bring my stuff out to the car which most places aren't so thoughtful.This is my favorite new pizza place with great recipes and fresh ingredients which makes my husband very happy since we eat pizza more than we did! read more

On 11-08-2017 we had this location deliver food for my rehearsal dinner. From the day we went in with ordering questions, to the day we placed the order, to delivery, the entire staff was great! The driver was prompt, extremely helpful with bringing in the food (enough for 50 people) and he brought us the most delicious dinner. We had beef for loose meat sandwiches (including the bread and peppers) which was tender and juicy, 50 pcs of fried chicken, garlic bread, 2 full trays of mostaccoli with meat sauce, 2 full trays of salad with assorted dressing and enough napkins and utensils to last us through the weekend. Everyone was extremely satisfied with the amazing quality and taste of the food. We will definitely be using Rosati's again and again! Thank you so much!! read more

I've only had to throw out 3 pizzas in my life. The thin crust garlic and sausage we got here is #4. They seemed to have forgotten the garlic as well. The manager Stan is a joke. Had a horrible attitude with me because I asked for my pizza to be redone since my first was burnt and stale. When my husband went back to get them he witnessed the manager yell at another customer " look at this .... now is this good enough for you?" He thought the woman was me! I've eaten Rosati's for years and this is the first time I've had a problem with them. The pizza was cold, slimy and falling apart when we got it. It was completely inedible; we called to have a replacement pizza delivered and they got lost. How do you get lost when you were just here!? I called and spoke to Katie the manager and advised her of my concerns and asked her what had changed because we've always had great pizza and service from Rosati's. I asked her if this we should expect from now on and her only response was to offer our money back. Again I asked, frustrated!!! What has changed and she stated we have new owners. Although the pizza is a bit expensive, I love this pizza! The deep dish is my favorite, but I also enjoy the thin crust as well. I ordered it for the family and worried that my father and 15 year old niece wouldn't like it as much as I do. They both thought it was "pretty good" so everyone was happy. Was craving pasta so decided to try Rosatis since they had delivery. I ordered on line and the food was at my door in 45min. The breaded cauliflower was yummy (Only bummed they forgot to send the ranch). The lasagna was also very good! We also got the penne Alfredo with chicken. It was OK. The chicken in it was kinda rubbery. All in all, it was a good experience. I would definitely order from here again in the future. read more

Nope. Wanted to like this place. Was misquoted price for delivery on phone. We were told $17 on the phone when the credit card was charged. On delivery the receipt was for $28. For a 16 inch pizza. The customer service was not good from beginning to end. Never a good sign. The pizza reminded me nothing of Chicago pizza in taste. It's like they added enormous amounts of fat and salt with no taste benefit. I see this place getting a complete management/owner overhaul or go out of business sooner than later. read more

I'm not surprised at the low rating some of the other reviewers have given Rosati's. The first time we had it, we got the pan pizza (I love chicago style) and were rather disappointed. It tasted good, but was way too gooey and the texture was off...each slice of pizza just kind of fell apart. After that, we decided to give them another shot, and tried their thin crust. It was MUCH better, but we still had the problem that the toppings wouldn't stay on the pizza. It turns out that they just put too much sauce on it...if you order it with light sauce, then the toppings stay on just fine. While I don't like it as well as Grimaldi's, we order it regularly when in the mood for thin crust pizza (we're having it tonight, as a matter of fact). I'm very comfortable recommending that folks try their thin crust pepperoni with light sauce...order it well-done for extra crispiness. read more

If you order during the week for dinner, you should be okay with delivery times. If you order for lunch, forget about getting your food in a timely fashion, it won't happen. Our estimated delivery time was 45 minutes. I called after an hour to see if our order was lost or something. The manager said they were running behind, but my order just left and I should receive it in a few minutes. We live about 10 minutes away if you hit every red light. It took another 45 minutes to get our food, it was warm at best and prepared wrong. I got a refund. When we ordered again, I had my fiance pick it up to avoid delivery times. Perfect pizza. The last time we ordered we were estimated 55 minutes delivery time, again, almost 2 hours later our food finally showed up. We wrote an e-mail (same as the first incident) about the issue, but haven't heard back 5 days later. If you only like New York style pizza you will not understand the thin crust cut in squares goodness that we ate as kids in the mid west. Try it. It's a different thing. I like the NY style. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE PIZZA, ONLY. This pizza (sausage, pepperoni, garlic, X-cheese) was awesome. I ordered the thin crust. I am not a fan of thin crust, but wanted to try. The dough (crispy) was perfect. The pizza had the right amount of herbs and spices. It tasted a bit salty, but I have found that when corn meal is used as the paddle layering, the taste is always a bit salty. The corn meal, rather than flour, is the perfect layering for the oven. I'm going to have to try the standard crust, just to compare, but this is the best I have had in this area. Nino's in Glendale is close, but that shop is too far to bring back a hot pizza. Went back this past week to get a stuffed pizza like we always get and . . . VERY DISAPPOINTED. Haven't been there in a while. And was really looking forward to getting it. Maybe it's this COVID thing and restaurants need to make up for lost time and money. Maybe they got new cooks and they have no clue about how a Chicago STUFFED PIZZA is created. We ordered it with mushrooms and bacon. A few measly mushrooms and --- WHERE IS THE BACON? For that matter, where is the CHEESE? What we brought home looked like a giant round foccacia bread with a few toppings and a hint of cheese shoved together between 2 thick layers of pizza dough. The bottom crust was - (not exaggerating) 5/8" thick and bready, practically non-existent ingredients inside with a top layer of dough and sauce. Too bad. This was our go-to pizza place here in the west valley. I guess we'll have to travel a little further and pick up a Giordano's from now on. Shame. read more

I ordered pizza from Rosati pizza in Surprise several times. Has always been good pizza. This time I decided to order a Chicago deep dish pizza with sausage mushrooms onions and garlic. This pizza is not the standard of quality I'm used too from this Rosati. The topping coverage on this pizza was extremely light except for the garlic which was extremely heavy. On this 12" pizza I had 4 slices with no sausage at all and very little mushroom. Other reviews are correct in my opinion the the quality of service at this Rosati has gone down hill. I will not be ordering from this Rosati again. There are plenty of Chicago style pizza places on west side. read more

They were very apologetic and said "we will get it to you soon" I asked for a timeframe and they said "all the drivers are out it could be a while" I asked to speak to a manager, put on hold and someone answers "hello" she sounded no older than 16. I asked if she was the manager and she said there is no manager there but she could help me. I proceeded to ask her since I've been waiting for an hour for my food, why was I not made a top priority to get my food delivered. The antipasto was more lettuce and black olives than what I have ever had before. Wow - no mozzarella - only some white no taste cheese cut from slices, more lettuce than a chef salad, two full handfuls of black olives, 3 little tomatoes and 7 slices of mystery meat. Two stars because the over priced Chicago style pizza was decent. If I rated it based on the chicken parm it would be ZERO. Ordered it, went to pick it up...15 'min after my scheduled finish time...it still wasn't done. Then when we brought it home it was like mush, the chicken was obviously breaded then just baked with the noodles and sauce...the bread crumbs slid off. It literally was not even edible. Fantastic tasting pizza and a little something for everyone. I highly recommend the deep dish. I typically have it delivered and have never had an issue with them- the only place in Surprise that can boast about this. The one time there was an order mistake they more than made up for it. Note-they are a little pricey and if you have fussy children, like I do, you may want to double check if it is crushed tomatoes as opposed to traditional sauce. read more

I don't understand the negative ratings. That has not been my experience in my many, many orders since this location opened. I have never had better pizza in AZ than I have had from Rosati's. It is exactly like the very popular pizza from the sister restaurants in Chicago. In addition, when I order, the staff remember me and have given me the specials or added a pizza in for discounted prices or free after so many orders. They have always gone over and above for us. Once we were in a hurry, and they 'rushed" my order--for my convenience. This place is clean, serves fresh, consistently delicious pizza, and is much better than Papa John's or Domino's. So here's my impression of the place. HORRIBLE customer service (if that's what pizza staff is called?). I saw them on the cover of one of those coupon filled booklets for local joints that you get in the snail mail box and the pizza looked amazing! I decided to go online and check them out to see what toppings they have and to look a pictures other yelpers have taken. Surprisingly the thin crust pizza actually seems to look like what they advertise so I was definitely curious. I signed up for their online account on Thursday afternoon since I knew we'd be ordering pizza Friday night. Friday came and much to my delight I received an email with a promo code for "50% off your order". There was a link below to order online so after work on Friday we logged in and began concocting our order. I go to drop the promo code in at checkout and I get a message stating "There is a configuration issue with this coupon". I double check the code (i had copy/pasted from the email so I know it's correct but I made sure no extra spaces had snuck in there) - and the code was correct. I had confirmed my email account with them so my online "Rewards" account was legit too. Anyway, I cancel out the entire order and go to their site through a different browser just in case it was some bizarre browser incompatibility. I get through the order again, enter the code. SAME MESSAGE. Their site WILL NOT ACCEPT THEIR OWN CODE. Anyway, whatever. I give up and the wife says she'll just call them. She calls, is asked to wait on hold. Literally 10 minutes later someone comes back on the line asking how they can help. She tells them what happened and they said they could take the order over the phone and process the promo code that way instead. She says fine - but they put her on hold AGAIN...why would you come back on the line if you weren't ready to take the order?! About 7 more minutes goes by (timer watching on the cell phone) and she's still on hold - so now WE'VE LITERALLY SPENT 40 MINUTES TRYING TO ORDER PIZZA WITHOUT SUCCESS. Nobody ever came back on the line. We gave up and ordered Hungry Howies instead - Jalapeno bread.. mmmmmm...The only reason I gave two stars was because they have green olives on the menu. Fantastic first impression guys. Send a code that doesn't work and let people sit on hold for 20 minutes after being explained that your code doesn't work. read more

Being from the Chicago burbs was very familiar with Rosatis. We have patronized this restaurant since they arrived in Surprise. Good staff, friendly, and pizza is good. Italian Beef is great...only down side is they have become rather pricey. Due to that we do not patronize them as often as before. This is a carry out business only. No-sati's and No service!! - - 2010-07-12 Only rated it a star because I had to. the pizza arrived crispy black on the bottom, Called the manager and he told me thats how they make them. His rationale was that they make 100 pizzas a night therefore mine couldnt be burnt. Also, they did not apply the discount coupon that I had told them about, when the driver was here at my house, I had to call the manager, MIKE, who in the end turns out not even to be a manager with the company, and he explained that a 20% discount from $34.00 worth of food equals the $2.03 that was listed on my ticket. after explaining basic math, that even with rounding the number to a whole number, such as $30.00 and then subtracting even 10% (even thouugh my coupon was for a 20% discount) thats at least three dollars, so it should be closer to six. He had no intention of getting a brain,. and I only found out the next day after my credit card was charged $36.82 that he didnt issue any discount at all and wasnt even a manager. We now politely refer to their company as No-satis.. an update, the female owner just called me and explained to me that when she gets back from Vacation in a week, she will personally deal with my issue, but in the mean time, if her manager mike said he did the right thing, than she is sure that he did the right thing and it was simply a mix up in the internet to the restaurant, and she hadn't heard from her husband who was subbing in or Mike that my pizza was burnt, but she did know there was another pizza last night that complained and was comped so if mike wanted to comp it, he could. (if that was the case, why when I made three phone calls to mike the great manager was it not resolved?) i told her to keep the money and have it help pay for a math class for her managers. I know I wont get any results, and at this point, I would rather it pay for her bad advertising than even try to dispute it. its not about the money, I was calling today simply irritated that I was charged MORE than even the price was yesterday. Great Job, No-sati's. Just like chicago, they are right without even looking. wish I would have Yelped it before I orderd, but the menu looked good and the flyer was on our doorstep. I've read some reviews from people complaining about the pizza having chunks of tomatoes on top of the cheese and needing to use a spatula to get it out of the box..Yep, that's exactly what it is supposed to be! This place has the best most authentic Chicago style pizza in the valley. If you are not looking for this style of pizza, they offer many other options, even the thick crust which resembles pizza huts 'deep dish'. Deep dish from a Chicago style pizza place comes serve with a knife and spatula, you can not get the pizza out without it , and there is fresh tomato sauce on top of the mozzarella (fresh mozzarella). Their thin crust is delicious as well. I have had their spaghetti and meatballs as well, THOROUGHLY satisfied. Thank god there is an authentic Chicago style joint in surprise !!!
