I took the sandwich back to work, and it was excellent. The house-roasted top round beef was tender and flavorful, the roasted shallots added a nice sweetness, the black pepper mayo brought everything together, and the focaccia was soft with a great texture. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the sandwich was well balanced without feeling overly heavy. It's easy to see why this place has such a loyal following.
