They could've stuck with the plan and probably make significantly more profit and it wouldn't have been a wrong decision. Their brand and reputation was more important to them, and they didn't feel that the transition would be a positive transition for them overall. I had a personal experience happen lately that affected their decision to continue. I wouldn't have liked them any less had they felt the best direction for them was to continue with that idea. This personal experience was borderline shame for my family. They are thinking why would I associate myself with so and so and this and that, but I try to be open to all places and environments- especially if I have a reason to be at such and such a place, etc. I used to be a teacher and probably had to teach some of the people's kids or their relatives or work with some of them, and ironically, my family wanted me to be a teacher at one point. While that experience was a struggle for me including not understanding or being okay with people being disrespectful, one thing that never changed was my heart for the kids, their families, and all the staff I worked with. They could see this and I never had to ask. I always worked on how I could mesh well with others very different than me constantly. I don't regret my teaching experiences despite how painful it was for me. Thank you, Craft Beer Store, for treating your customers like they are human and not just another number. Physical violence is NOT a solution to any kind of misunderstanding or conflict, and the Craft Beer Store will not stand up for such nonsense. I would've never thought communicating with a store could become such a positively personal experience for me. I plan to make much more effort to support them than just a casual let's try this or that beer now, and you should too. Thank you.

The pool players I talked to were very friendly. Bonus bathroom video in full review.

There is a difference. The food here would be good with or without the throngs of people. The bands they get are also top notch. My buddy Paul Scheb plays here from time to time and it is generally packed when I am there. It's a good kind of packed. Mainly there is a lot of younger people there but I have never been hassled. In fact everyone there seems happy, laid back and ready for a good time. It's a nice vibe. The bartenders are quick with a drink. They poured a good pint Guinness. The bathrooms can get beat up, but like I said it is packed, so this is expected. I obviously have not been in the ladies room, so that may be a different story. The place is well managed and my only regret is that it is a little bit of a distance from me. Not too far, just not too close, if I lived around the corner it would be my weekly haunt.

The kitchen service forgot to add green peppers to my simple order. The roll also stuck to the serving basket and peeled off as I lifted it up. It was good tasting, but without the peppers, it wasn't 'authentic' as I know it. The ambiance was OK. Their was necessary construction going on which the bartender apologized for ahead of time. The pre-recorded music was being played a little loud for a pre-dinnertime period. I probably wouldn't go back again, especially since there are so many other good choices in the region. It was odd, too, that we paid for the food, in cash only, to the kitchen help, and for the drinks, in cash only again, to the bartender.

The cheese is melted very nicely and touching everything. No mushrooms. Big french fries with a nice touch of seasoning. Ma Murray was at the bar making sure everything ran smoothly. Cheyenne was awesome. Good Liscio's roll. I think a little scoopage would help this cheesesteak. Hopefully we'll see Murray's Bar & Grille on an upcoming episode of the Cheesesteak Stories Podcast.

A down-to-earth watering hole. Cozy, even. I loved our table, a nice high-top in the corner. I guess my only complaint is that it took a little while to be seated. It was Sunday night dinner rush, L get it, but I waited by the door long enough to wonder whether anyone was going to notice me. But it was worth the wait. For a place that comes off as a bar, the meal they served me checked all the boxes -- oysters from the raw bar first, then a tender New York strip, with a generous side of Jack Daniels. Everything was perfect. Our server Jake was a real pro, the best. You could tell they were all a great team. When a drink I ordered appeared on the bar but had not yet been delivered, someone stepped up and brought it to me. Service! Something that surprised me. Though I was totally into my dinner, looking around, it struck me that the place looked exceptionally clean. I mean, excceptional, something they should be proud of. But above all, I could not have enjoyed the food more. The oysters, excellent. So good I ordered a second dozen for desert. An entirely enjoyable and satisfying experience. You'll find it worth your while.
