    Fruit + orange juice

I visited at 10 AM on a Saturday and the cafe was filled with families but not overly busy. The cafe felt very homey and the service was great- the workers were attentive and noticed I was cold so they closed the door for me (without needing to ask). The prices here are really good for the quality! My partner and I shared most of our stuff. What we ordered: - Orange Juice: Has pulp, but tasted really good and seems like it was freshly squeezed. Def a perfect combo with the burritos or breakfast plates. - Fruits: The fruit cup had a great variety of strawberries, melons, cantaloupe, and green/red grapes. Fresh and sweet! - Steak Burrito: Honestly the best burrito out of the three options! Great price for steak and very filling. Lots of texture from the steak and hash browns. Pairing this with the salsa was really good. - Breakfast Burrito: This one's a bit more heavier (and saltier) from all the meats (bacon, sausage, and ham). This burrito is great for anyone who wants a heftier or meatier breakfast. I think this would be great to pair with ketchup! - Veggie Burrito: I enjoyed the crunchiness from the bell peppers and hash browns in this burrito. I liked this one since it was more refreshing and felt more nutritious. I saw a few gigantic donuts on display which looked really good. I think I'd get one the next time I visit!

Amazing food, good service and very comfortable cozy place to come and eat and enjoy a nice brunch or if you want lunch. I had the pleasure of working next door at my previous job. An had tired many items an didn't get the chance to photograph all but the options are great an have plant to choose from. Plus I have to say the Breakfast Burritos are

Second time around after the first time rec from a friend. Haven't tried the donuts but they def have decent burritos that's nice and hot. I like the portion size and the wrap is nice and thin. The staff seem nice though! Weekend afternoon is def a lot quieter than mornings.

12/13/2025 Came here for some fresh OJ and breakfast burrito. Been quite a while since I came here. A nice update is that they now take CARD. which is so nice. The breakfast burrito was still the same. Not only looks good but also tastes good. Worth the try.

If you live in the bay and haven't eaten here before then you're living here wrong! Rose Cafe offers all the breakfast options, omelettes, wraps, salads, sandwiches, and coffee, but what sincerely stands out are their burritos. Their breakfast burrito is an absolute must try. Their breakfast burrito comes with scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham, bacon, sausage, cheese, and their homemade salsa on the side. You would think with all these meats and fried foods that it would be oily, but theirs isn't oil heavy at all. Their burritos are easy to eat yet give such a satisfying American breakfast palate. Their homemade salsa is also something else, and I would describe it as having a slightly sweet taste. It isn't sour or heavy at all. The next time you're hungry for breakfast or brunch, definitely give this place a try!

I ordered the veggie burrito for $12.75. I think overall it's a great breakfast burrito. The two negatives I will say would be the eggs are leaning towards to rubbery side and the burrito is way too oily. I love the onions and the avocado. Good price considering breakfast burritos can be up to $20 nowadays. Rose Cafe has been around for so long. I remember eating here in high school and the taste is pretty much the same. They also sell donuts. I've tried the cinnamon twist and apple fritter. They're not the best donuts in the world but they are still pretty good. Service is always fast. Quite a bit of seating which is nice.

Very friendly! When I walked in I was a bit skeptical since there was only one person there. The burrito I got was #7 it was sooooo good!

Mocha frap was good, but barely had caffeine. My waffle was also pretty hard =/ Bacon was god. I knew they had good burritos via word of mouth, but i was craving a waffle and will try the burrito next time.

Quick & affordable breakfast/lunch spot. All of our items came out within 10 mins. I tried the Avocado Chicken Salad Wrap & Steak burrito and both were yummy but nothing to write home about. All the prices were around $10-12 per item making it very reasonable. Their menu consisted of burritos, burgers, salads, and wraps. Casual grab & go spot with the option of seating inside.

Restaurant located in the corner of a plaza. Very spacious interior and fast service even with a small crowd. Little to no wait on a weekend morning. Pictured: breakfast burrito. A staple item here filled with eggs, hashbrown, ham, bacon, sausage and cheese. Ask for the homemade salsa on the side that adds more flavor and acidity to the burrito. The hashbrown texture is elite and just an overall breakfast burrito that can't be done wrong. A little bit on the pricer side compared to the size but delicious nonetheless. 8/10 will come from time to time!

It's the best breakfast burrito in the South Bay by far, been going to it since 2013-2014 and when it was at its previous location closer to Westgate. So apparently it's the best, but I'm only giving it 3 stars. Why? They really skimp out and you feel like you're barely getting anything. Just like other reviews have already mentioned, not a lot of cheese, the amount of salsa you get is laughable. There's no denying that it's still tasty, their hash browns are so crispy, all the flavors are distinct and there. There is nothing gratuitous about it though. When you've had breakfast burritos from LA which are top notch, you're left wanting a lot more from this place.

Are there gluten free options here?

I'm not sure. I'm assuming you're referring to donuts? But the menu itself is so vast, I'm close to positive you'll find *your* fan fave that is gluten-free!!…

Do they make their own donuts or are they bought from another bakery?

I believe they make them. They have a very large kitchen, and their donuts tasted very fresh. My caveat is I was not there at 4 or 5 in the morning to witness them making them!

    Do they take Venmo?

    Cash only.

    Is it cash only?

    Yes, cash only.

Is there indoor seating at this retaurant?

    Yes

I'm now in love but sad now there's a line! They've been making fresh donuts for decades. You walk in, place your order with one of the staff and pay cash only. I got their famous glazed donuts, the bavarian one, a couple old fashioned, pink cake, etc. Let me tell you, their glazed donuts must be eaten fresh for optimal enjoyment. I couldn't believe the soft fluffy texture, and it was just the right amount of sweetness It didn't have an overly oily after taste either! I killed my donut in less than 30 seconds, and this is coming from someone who used to not like donuts. But my favorite is their bavarian one - its powder donut packed with custard that's NOT TOO SWEET. My goodness my eyes rolled back on this one. I gave away most of my donuts to friends so I'm going to come back and try more! My friends actually ate them the next day and they still thought it was hella good. Somebody recommend their cinnamon one - it's a pretty big long donut! I ate that the next day and felt like my soul was leaving my body. SO WORTH A VISIT. A dozen is less than $24.

I was delighted from the first bite. The prefilled donut holes are different from the regular ones. They are glazed and more similar to a cream puff which makes them super tasty. I love the irregular shapes of each of them and how big they were. The cream puff texture is what makes this custard filled donut holes not feel heavy when you eat them. Very yummy and addicting. Customers usually come in, grab what they need, pay, and head out, which keeps things moving smoothly. One of the best things about this bakery is the incredible variety of pastries and breads. Don't skip the refrigerated section either! They carry fruit sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, fried bread, donuts, somen noodles in a cup, and other delicious grab-and-go items. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.
