This had to have been the rudest person I have ever spoken with -- EVER. I was respectful from the moment he picked up the phone but I rudely hung up on him otherwise I was most likely going to say something nasty. I ordered a sympathy arrangement from 1-800-FLOWERS and asked if they can provide me with an actual photo of the arrangement since they NEVER look like the ones on the website when ordering. 1-800-FLOWERS told me they cannot provide a photo but sent a request to the local floral shop (Rose Cart) fulfilling the order with my phone number and email. I followed up Rose Cart and the "gentleman" who answered the phone was extremely rude from the very start. He would constantly talk over me and wouldn't allow me to explain my concerns nor listen to my one simple request. Lo and behold, the arrangement delivered was definitely NOT what I ordered, which is exactly why I requested a photo. And I don't want to hear "this is why you should order directly from the shop instead of online or using a third-party." I don't live in the recipient's area. Based on the reviews of this place, it's clear that the shop owners do not value their third-party customers (ie. 1-800-FLOWERS) when fulfilling orders. Regardless, business owners should treat customers from all channels of their business streams with a basic level of respect. read more

Buyer beware! Rose Cart Florist in Sunnyvale provides flowers through 1-800-flowers. The photo online does not look anything like the flowers that were delivered. The size was supposed to be 12"x12" but what was delivered was much, much smaller and didn't look anything like the picture. They redelivered the flowers and the second attempt was just as bad. It appears that they fulfill online orders as cheaply as they can and probably assume that the buyer will never see what was delivered. This feels like a scam. read more

I ordered flowers through 1-800-Flowers for my father in law's birthday. It was his first birthday after his passing and since we weren't able to visit his grave site we wanted to make sure he got some flowers. I was hesitant to order through 1-800-flowers because they messed up an order last year (for my father in law's funeral unfortunately... it was address stress and frustration that we were so unhappy to deal with) But Rose Cart definitely delivered. I had to give instructions for them to go to the memorial's records in order to obtain the grave site location and they followed it to a T. I asked for a picture of the flowers at the site to confirm delivery and they came through. My husband was very pleased. They took extra steps and went above and beyond. The arrangement looked like what we had ordered; it may not have been exact, but the service provided is greatly appreciated! read more

I ordered an arrangement thru 1-800-FLOWERS who use Rosecart to send out flowers. At Christmas I had 3 arrangements sent to friends. Two arrangements were not the arrangements I ordered and not a quarter of the flowers which I ordered. very sparse.. last week I thought I would try again thru 1-800-FLOWERS since they gave me a certificate. Again they went thru Rosecart (Sunnyvale/Mt. View) who never even delivered the arrangement to a friend for her birthday. I called to find out why. They said they no longer do the arrangement I ordered. Why the heck didn't they let me know the day of or when I placed the order... ridiculous! Looked at the Rosecart website and it seems to be on there as available. Asked to have any thing of equal value sent immediately (opted for the largest one when I placed the order). They sent out a very skimpy arrangement of leftover flowers the next day late in the evening. Rose cart is awful! Don't waste your money on them. You will NOT get what you ordered. read more

This is an update to my previous review I wrote on June 16, 2021, regarding flowers sent for my mom's milestone birthday. After a few days. the manager, Ali, sent a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers of the type I had ordered, albeit still without a balloon. My parents pointed out to the delivery man upon noticing this that they should refund the money I paid for the balloon.  Nevertheless, it was a nice gesture on the part of the manager to replace the flowers and my parents were very happy with the beautiful flowers which were delivered the second time. I purchased a LivingSocial deal for a flower arrangement delivery from Rose Cart. The instructions clearly stated, call to arrange purchase. When I called, I was on the phone for nearly 15 minutes, only to end the conversation with canceling the order due to my disappointing customer service experience. They were having me go online to look up the item number for them...something I feel like they should do as the business owners. I told them the name and description, and that wasn't enough. Then when we got to the voucher, he said I had to use it in store instead of calling in for the purchase. He then said I could email or fax it to him, and he would call me back with the remaining balance. So much more complicated than it should ever be to purchase. I went to Rose Cart to purchase a wrist corsage for my son's Winter Formal date. I went in on the Monday before. I asked for wrist corsage made with white roses and silver and lavendar ribbon and tulle. I stated I would pick it up on Saturday at noon. When I arrived on Satruday the wrist corsage was made with PINK roses not white. When I asked if it could be remade correctly I was told they were out of white roses. the woman than went on to say that the girl who took the order is the one that made the corsage so maybe it was supposed to have pink roses. I thne pointed out the order form specifically stated White roses. Relunctantly she gave me a full refund. Trust me we won' be using Rose Cart for any future floral purchases! read more

This company sells substandard roses. within 3 days of receiving a huge arrangement of red roses they were dying! I called they were not to happy to help me so I called the person that ordered them and they called and then they sent out another arrangement which promptly started dying at the 3 day mark as well. My roses never even opened up they wilted at the stem within 3 days! I worked at a florists for years so I know what they are supposed to look like as well as how to care for them. They are selling old flowers as fresh flowers! NOt worth the money! flowers from the grocery store last longer! read more

I was surfing the Internet for a Flower Shop, because I wanted to buy my girlfriend flowers for her Birthday. I could not make a decision,because there were so many Flower Shops around my area. It was a difficult decision to make, but I had to choose. I came across Rose Cart and thought, what a great name. I continued doing more research on there website to learn more about there services. I called and spoke to there customer services. I explained my situation to them, and hoped they would point me into the right direction. They did a wonderful job helping me do just that. They stayed on the phone with me for 30 min, trying to find suitable flowers for my girlfriend. I was able to actually order the flowers with his help through there web site. They even went as far as giving me a free 24/hr delivery of the flowers I ordered. Now, that is a wonderful way to bring me back as a customer. I will definitely be coming back. Ali offered to get flowers to a friend before noon after I asked if he could do it or not. I was really pleased he could do it, so I ordered an arrangement and paid extra for the rush delivery. Ninety minutes later, the flowers were not delivered to my friend at her office 1.3 miles away from the shop. I called and was assured they would be there. After two hours, the flowers had not been delivered and my friend was already gone. When I called to let Ali know that they missed my friend, he suggested to me that it was a lot of me to ask to get them delivered inside the 90 minutes. I reminded him that I asked him upfront if he could do it and he offered to do it. At this point, he started talking over me, told me he is sorry i ever called and then hung up. I called back and chewed him out for hanging up and let him know I would post a review about this on Yelp and anywhere else, at which he literally laughed at me. So, I guess he thinks people don't read these reviews. Take this experience and do with it what you will. UPDATE!!!: My friend to whom I sent th flowers just told me that Ali sent a delivery person to her office to demand the flowers back! The reason? Because I complained to him about failing to deliver on time. After my friend arrived in the morning, she was happy to find the arrangement. Made her day. I was going to post a negative review about all of this, but since my friend was happy, I removed my review. Then Ali sends someone over to embarrass my friend in front of her coworkers. Unbelievable. How petty and spiteful. Do not do business with this guy. I just tried calling Ali to ask why he went to try and get flowers back. Once again, he cuts me off, mad at me. Accountable for absolutely nothing. I noticed another review on here where he mishandled a delivery and basically took no responsibility. read more
