Luckily the wait wasn't too long! I ordered the Monte Cristo, which was one of their specialties. It came with turkey, ham, and Jack cheese inside French toast. It was delicious. I loved that it was sweet and savory, but also different from Monte Cristo sandwiches I've had before. Other items ordered were the green chilaquiles, red chilaquiles, and the steak and eggs. Everyone enjoyed their food as well as the cafe de olla, which comes with a couple of cookies. Rose D'Amour Cafe is pretty small inside, but there is also outside seating. I can see why it gets such good reviews. It was actually a groupon that lured me in and for the 1st time in years a groupon succeeded in it's intended purpose! We got breakfast items and the chilaquiles were delicious. I tried the poblano and chipotle. The poblano is in a cream sauce so I wish I had ordered my husband's tasty green sauce which is a tomatillo base with no cream. Service was excellent but be aware they are making food from scratch so orders don't come up super quick. It's a small venue but there is seating outside. We also tried the bananas foster crepe. It tasted nothing like bananas foster but was still pretty good...and not too sweet. Only reason I'm holding back the 5th star is that I like my potatoes crispy...if they did hashbrowns versus country style that would be even better! read more

Stumbled upon this place randomly before the wife and I had to spend the day car shopping. The atmosphere was small yet homey feeling. They had an array of coffee drinks and fresh pressed juices. My wife loved her ginger/carrot/oj. As far as the food, it fell short in both of our opinions. My wife has the chorizo toast, it lacked flavor. While my crane asada was tough. The server forgot to bring our banana crepe, but glad she didn't since other items weren't too appetizing. Look for the little cute pink building! Parking lot is right after the building, turn right down the hill (sometimes it is full if busy). It can be very busy on weekends for brunch. Seating is limited because the building is very small so you may have to wait. I dined in once and ordered to-go once. Service is attentive! I waited 15 minutes for my to-go order. I highly recommend the d'amour breakfast burrito! it has hash browns, egg, bacon, pico de gallo, plus a side of beans. So flavorful and tastes homemade! Drove 40 minutes out of our way only to enter the restaurant and not be greeted or spoken to, we had to approach a server who looked annoyed we were there. He told us to just sit anywhere with an annoyed tone, once sat we waited over 15 minutes before we decided to leave. No one came over, took our order or even offered drinks. Came here on a Friday morning at 11:55am, it was not busy at all. However, I Waited in line for a long time, and was not greeted or acknowledged, so I left without getting anything. The ambiance was cute, but definitely small and compact. The food look good, but I did not wait to try because the service from the start was garbage. Yelp brought us here! Cute little pink cafe.. We were greeted with a welcoming and inviting vibe. The menu wasn't overwhelming. Had the Mole Chilaquiles and iced pumpkin chai and iced pumpkin matcha latte. The Mole Chilaquiles was delicious! Never had mole before and it was very flavorful. It was sweet but savory, tasted chocolate and cinnamon, flavor was complex and delicious. The beans weren't mushy or greasy and not heavy at all. And the potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The lattes were refreshing and not too sweet. Never had pumpkin spice with matcha and it was very nice. New management and it shows! Rose D Amour is a new cafe name & owners but is still delivering on their food. Ordered the D'amour burger cooked medium & it came with fries. The Dragon pitaya fruit refresher which had ACTUAL dragon fruit was amazing! Not overly sweet which I appreciated. Staff is very polite & attentive but with a very small location they can get very busy very fast, especially during the weekends! Plan ahead for a visit but definitely worth it. read more

A friend recommended this place, located next to Burger King. It's a small place, located on a hill. I wish I took a photo of the parking lot. It's like on a hill/steep slope. There's a small indoor seating area. Not good for groups as there's a small tables inside maybe good for 2-4 people each. There's an outdoor patio area but it's literally outside and to the side, so I didn't see it. The cafe is located right on 3rd ave. Service was slow and unfriendly. We weren't greeted upon arrival. I think actually cos no one was at the register. I think we sat ourselves. It took a long time to get our orders in, in which I saw the servers go in and outside to the patio quite a few times before finally tending to us. There was a bit of wait on the food coming out as well. I ordered chilaquiles- it lacked flavor. Portion looked promising and the prices were in the higher side, so I was expecting better. I visited this establishment during covid when it had a different name not sure if it's the same owners or not. So I was excited to come back. I love that it's a very intimate place. The servers were bilingual and very welcoming. The food was really good, only thing we weren't very big fans of were the potatoes- they under seasoned and you could tell they had been sitting as they were hard and somewhat cold. But regardless the food was very good. Loved the presentation on the plate. Now, personally as a icee coffee drinker their Mexican Mocha iced coffee was incredible, it was slightly sweet with a bitter hint (which is a great balance). I really recommend giving this place a try, cute place with lots of options to choose from. read more

My daughter had raved about this place for weeks since it's opening last year. I would say, within the past year, I must have eaten at Rose D' Amour Cafe with family members several times already. Honestly, the place had caught my curiosity since the days of Yeung Lew, a Chinese restaurant before Cafe D' Amour (same location and size). On my first visit to Rose D' Amour, (with my adult children), I was immediately enamored by its cute, charming and interior decor. From the appearance of what the outside looked like, I had a hunch the inside would look equally nice. Well done! We were greeted and seated immediately next to the window area. On all occasions, my preference was to eat indoor and not in the patio. Yes, service is on the slow side but was worth the wait each time. Just don't come starving ;) Servers need to be more attentive, be not so forgetful and basically communicate with their customers while waiting for their order. As for the cook, big shout out for his delicious, decorative and good-portioned dishes. Favorites: chilaquiles, mole, omelettes, crepes, waffles, and drinks (matcha raspberry and ferrero rocher latte) Non favorites: open til 2pm Lastly, although not a coffee drinker, I hear Rose D' Amour serves them well with an assortment to choose from. I ordered from DoorDash their chilaquiles and the churro French toast for brunch and I ate half my meal and saved the other half for next meal. I usually do have to add extra sauces to my eggs like hot sauce but the salsa verde was plentiful and so tasty, I loved it! The churro French toast was good. Good portions for the dishes priced and I was able to have some leftovers. I have not dined there in person so next time, I will update review on the service and ambiance. I've been waiting to try this place for a few months. Finally went two weeks ago, and what a disappointment. Small place, which I like very much. I'm a big fan of family or nonfranchize places. 4 people in the restaurant (two people at each table) and then me. One person walked in to get a cup of coffee, so not busy at all. Placed my order (1 coffee, 1 tea, 1 bagel w/cream cheese, and an egg sandwich). After placing my order, I asked to sit out in the patio (it was hot inside at 9am) and was told that it was reserved for a party of 20 (no big deal). After 45 minutes (and having to ask for water 4 times), my food never arrived. Well, to be honest, the plain bagel, coffee and tea did. But I guess 45 minutes for an egg sandwich was not enough time for them to make a sandwich. I asked twice when my food would be coming. It was then that they realized that I hadn't been served. Not what I expected for a small place that was not busy. Oh, and the party of 20 for the patio that I could not use? They never showed up in the hour I was inside burning up. They didn't forget to give me the bill at the end of their poor customer service though. I'm sorry to say it, but I won't be going back. Me hope is that this post helps the Cafe and staff get better.
