I bought a half-dozen bottles, about the size of a bottle of Fanta: I'm so happy to have found it! They're on the lowest shelves by your ankles, and rely on the pictures on the labels. Foodies, follow me to the good stuff! Kvas, the fermented raisin juice? Also sold here, along with multiple types of beers: I have no idea where they're from. European chocolates with cordials; freshly-made honey cakes; apple/cherry cheese cakes, almond rings. There are large freezers with pierogi and pelmeni; I enjoy the long cases of blood sausage, pea meal bacon, Canadian bacon, and hard and soft sausages from all over Eastern Europe. Sauce mixes, spices, hard candies, and long rows of jarred vegetables: It has the inventory of a much bigger place. It's so authentic, most of the handwritten identifying cards are in languages I don't speak, but context, a background in dining out, and a willingness to try new things often leads to happy surprises. This is a husband and wife shop; they are both rather reserved until you're known as a regular. The warmth in their voices as they speak to other expats in the store is unmistakable. This is my place to go before the holidays, and any time I need to restock the favorites. I've…read morechecked every European store in the area, and Euro Deli is definitely better than the rest. It's not a big space, but full of essentials. You can find all kinds of imported canned goods, pickled vegetables and mushrooms, drinks, condiments, spices, instant soups and desserts. The frozen section is full of 'pierogi'. The herrings are good, and the best Polish mayonnaise 'Kielecki' is also available from time to time. Sausages, cold cuts, pates, cheeses, smoked fish, grains, flours, teas, and lots of sweets including candies and bonbons are sold. Last time, I treated myself to a frozen dessert made with cottage cheese, peaches and mango. The first bite brought back memories and I'm sure it was a taste of my childhood. There are many products which make me feel so sentimental in a good way. Don't forget, it's an Eastern European store and the service seems to be authentic. Don't take anything personal. The interior is quite simple but bright. I felt comfortable and cozy sitting in one of the booths along the walls. With holiday jazzy music playing in the background, the atmosphere was truly relaxing. We tried the Falafel Appetizer which was perfect--crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. It was delicious, especially dipped in the best tzatziki I've had in a long time. It came with very good grilled pita bread. The Spanakopita A La Carte was not our favorite, too doughy and oily, and with little filling. My Chicken Souvlaki Salad was great! I enjoyed everything about it. It was served with pita bread and tzatziki. Yes, bring me more tzatziki and pita, please :). My partner's Gyro Open Pita comes with a choice of regular fries or soup. Too bad the meat was prepared in the form of dried out slices. It wasn't what we expected, but the tzatziki came to rescue again. Anything dipped into tzatziki was delicious. We walked in on a bleak Saturday afternoon, passing a bunch of handcrafted poster board signs boasting the specials of the day. We struggled to find a clean table, as most were full of debris or the only other couple in the room. We were pointed to the cleanest one (just a few crumbs) and crossed the sticky floor to sit at the booth. It has an array of condiments (Hot sauce, ketchup, whipped butter, jams, salt and pep, dressing) and no napkins or silverware available. We were handed two double sided menus as the lady ran off to get us water, one with ice and one with none. Nothing had much of a description, though she was happy to answer questions. A good couple ingredients were sold out, narrowing down our choices, so I opted for the breakfast sandwich without meat. I got to choose my egg, scrambled, and between three cheeses, of which I chose feta, on a brioche bun, for 7 dollars. It would come dangling off the toasted roll, and I ended up separating it into two pieces of egg toast to help get it into my mouth without unhinging my jaw. My friend ordered a beef salad of which she was able to box leftovers up. It was decently proportionate to the cost, with black olives and feta and a few tomatoes and cucumber slices. It came with some dressing that she supplemented with the table side bottle. She said it still wasn't authentic, and yet she didn't care as she stated it was tasty and thoroughly seemed to enjoy it. We had to prompt for silverware, though she did notice my water run dry and refilled it (this time with ice) before putting down the check to pay at our leisure. It noted a difference in price between cash and card. We paid cash, debating risking the rain in favor of ditching the jazz music and small child running around. Neither a particular nuisance, but I left feeling entirely neutral about my experience, and that's not enough to get me to make the drive out here to enjoy yet another nice sandwich.

Vodka sauce with green peas, complemented, the sweetness of the pumpkin filled raviolis. A little pricey for not having any meat in our dishes.
