I stumbled upon this place back in 2018 while in Grad school at CSULB. I would come every few months because of Yuna. She is amazing. I started coming every week since March (COVID-19), because I now work remote and I am practically seated 16 hours a day. I tend to get lower back pain every so often due to bad posture, so I come to Rose Massage and get their 1 hour or 1.5 hour full body massage every week. I've been to high end massage places in Santa Monica and West Hollywood, and they honestly do not compare to Rose Massage LB. For a fraction of the price, you get twice the quality and care here. Sometimes I just come to treat myself, even if I don't need it per say. I find the pricing reasonable, the only negative thing is there is little to no noise control. Sometimes customers walk in speaking so loudly it can interrupt the massage, however, it is a fraction you pay for the service. read more

My friend and I did a walk-in for two 60-min massages on a Sunday afternoon. We had no wait time and were taken immediately to our room to get changed. The two women who worked on us were Ada and Yuna. They both did a thorough job and worked on us for the entirety of the hour. The 60-min massage included hot stones which I loved! The reason why I do not give full stars is because the overall ambiance could definitely be improved. The workers there tend to whisper to each other during the massages and you can also hear people dumping water and moving around in the back. It didn't bother me too much; however, this might deter someone who highly values ambiance. Was in desperate need of a massage, my body was giving out. Everywhere was booked but then I found this location. No frills, but a fabulous price and my masseuse was AHHMAZING. I did a fully body for 1 hr. They used hot stones, infused reflexology and swedish techniques! All for $45!!! Needless to say I hooked my masseuse up with a nice tip, and you should too. She asked how much. My massage was $40 for 60 minutes. I figure $8 at 20 percent is decent. When I asked her to add $8, she pointed to the tip guideline which states 60 min of service is $10 - $25. Best actual massage I've received at a reflexology place. I've been to a few-FV, Gardena, GG. The ambiance is not the most current, modern or up to date. Very old school, but I wasn't there for the ambiance. The best massage I've received in a long time. I had Lisa. She was unreal. Got into all the little nooks and all my knots feel gone. My second trip here was a big miss... the therapist mistook vigorous elbow and arm rubbing for a massage. FYI THAT FEELS TERRIBLE. Please stop using your arm bones to stroke us, it doesnt feel good. Knuckles feel horrible also. Its even worse when you try to pass off fast, vigorous arm/elbow/fist stroking for an actual massage. I asked her twice to slow down and use her hands- her response "hands come later" She spent a majority of the time arm stroking muscles up an down, over and over, with her arm bones. FAIL. Came in for a 1 hour massage. When I got there I told them I just want my back shoulders and neck massaged I didn't need the full body. Must have been a language barrier because the girl who was doing my massage was surprised I still had my leggings on. But I told her again I don't need my legs just shoulders and neck and back. The massage itself was okay sometimes it was perfect pressure but she didn't focus on my areas of pain like I asked. She massaged my butt more then she massaged my neck. The ending was a bit of a surprise no warning to hot stones being put on my back. My massage cost $45 plus $2 for paying with a debit card. I don't usually tip because I'm already paying for a service but I tipped $5 for effort. She literally laughed at my tip amount. If the establishment doesn't pay their employees well enough that's on them but you don't laugh in a customers face for giving you a tip regardless of the amount.
