The guy that runs the joint is pretty consistent too, always literally saying the same exact sentences whenever we call to book the appt, arrive at the appt, or approach the massage room (my wife and I love when he says "everything, take off". lol). I think it's pretty standard at these types of massage joints, but expect to tip at minimum $20 for a 60 min massage, otherwise they will give you the death eye and you'll be super uncomfortable, so to not get that feeling right after a long, distressful and relaxing massage, just be prepared to fork up the extra $10 in advance before paying and it will be all good vibez. In the end, you're paying $70 for an hour long full body massage with hot stones & oil, which is still a killer deal. Paid 100 total, for what I can confirm a 35 minute massage at most by my call log to call them before i arrived & when I was coming back for difference of 40$ really should have been more as a 30 minute massage there cost 30$ and I just over 30min with the trouble of having to turn around to discuss this with them. I now understand why every time, I've been there someone has been upset up Front as a customer. Nobody wants to deal with that. definitely not after trying to relax and getting a massage. Then as I've witnessed the man who own the place will all the sudden act like he does not understand English. He kept telling me we don't have an 8pm appointment when I called & he clearly I had just been there for a 7pm appointment. He also acknowledged the fact I was supposed to be getting and 80 minute massage & then I'm trying to point out the timeline. It does not line up even close. He then goes to not understanding me. I originally talked with Diane about a 90-minute deep tissue and at the time 60 was avail for the next day. I booked that for the next day and was told she would send verification to text and it was not received till next day (minor concern). But I got a nervous feel, and I was told many times CASH! That is no problem. Then what seemed like a nice shift.. I was informed Lynn could take me for 90 minutes if I came by right away. And I asked fee and was told $100 cash which is also listed on the website. Great .. easy . I grabbed a $100 and was out the door. Parking was horrible though and I had to walk literally 4 blocks. Upon arriving Diane was friendly and introduced me to Lynn who seemed tense, and non-communicative. I wasn't expecting just curtains and no private rooms which felt mediocre to me but I understand this type of set up is often customary. I undressed and ask Lynn to please use just coconut oil. The massage was incredibly rough and I had to say a few times to go lighter. The experience was horrible.. tense, then she got on top of me and straddled my body digging in. This felt incredibly uncomfortable though I know this is done in some traditions. But it felt unprofessional. To me there is no need to straddle someone on the table. I wondered if this was some Thai sex massage parlor, it made me uncomfortable. When I tried to talk about what I needed and what to do she shushed me for talking. This made me even more uncomfortable- Though some areas of my body did feel looser after the massage. That night I had horrible pain and felt worse. Now I have had massages for over 40 years and NEVER once had this kind of reaction. I still have burning in my shoulder and felt she caused injury. So felt extremely tacky to atm me for $5. Next I was never asked by Lynn or Dianne if I would like to leave a tip. AND TIPPING IS OPTIONAL!!!!!!!!! Hassling customers for tips is simply unprofessional .. HINT Customers will WANT to tip for exceptional care and service.
