I'm obsessed with this place! The whole vibe is so great, I could spend all day here. The interior is clean, bright, airy, and inviting. The floor is a whole mood. Everything is so photo ready but it's not just good for photos, it's DELICIOUS for your belly. Came here to work and I would totally make this a permanent work spot if I lived nearby. There are plenty of tables and enough wall outlets not to fight over one another. For to stay orders, they bring your food to your table. They serve their coffee in actual mugs! So cute! We got churro and cookies 'n cream vegan donuts, mushroom toast, avocado toast, both with soft boiled eggs, and some lattes. Vegan donuts are TO DIE FOR. OMG it's a must get. They run out so make sure to go earlier in the day! The mushroom toast was delicious and the egg made a fantastic addition. Definitely one for mushroom lovers, cuz they PILE it on. Yassss for amazing coffee, great food and a beautiful interior aesthetic! Came here to co-work and we were able to get situated at one of their many tables inside before diving into our foods. We each got a toast and a few vegan donuts to split to make sure we were revved up and ready to go. I also enjoyed a chai with almond milk that was pretty damn tasty with just the right amount of spice/sweetness so nothing had to be added to it. My main was the avocado toast with an egg. It was a decent sized portion, but the chewy bread topped with the soft-boiled egg just made it all kinds of amazing. I'd definitely order again. The staff were super friendly and I loved the tunes they were playing in the background for ambiance. Will for sure return to caffeinate and be productive the next time I'm in the area. read more

I loved the ambiance, the decor, the plating, the fact that they actually give you a mug when you're sitting in... the barista was extremely patient, kind, informative... he really made my experience here great! I enjoyed my macchiato and banana bread :) my friend ordered a black and white and we found the straight up espresso to be a bit too acidic for our liking. I love the coffee and the aesthetics of this coffee shop, but unfortunately the music today ruined my morning. I have no problem with the type of music being played but it was extremely loud at 8am. In a world post-covid, lots of people work at coffee shops. I saw multiple people leaving to go outside to take a call. While I was on a zoom call, no one on the call could hear me except the music. I went so far as to ask the staff to lower the music just a lil, and based on their facial expressions and tone, I knew they wouldn't, and to no surprise, the music was not lowered. I can appreciate loud music, I love concerts, but I think there's an appropriate time to play loud music, and 8 am on a Monday morning is not it! Came here for a small breakfast and coffee. Great location downtown Long Beach. Lots of places to sit down and work (if you need to study, work on your laptop or just relax). Great vibe. I almost miss going to college here because I feel like this would have been my spot when I was living in Long Beach 10+ years ago. Anyway, I ordered the avocado toast with extra eggs and a cup of Colombian coffee. These items HIT THE SPOT! So simple yet delightfully good. Great customer service and wonderful atmosphere. Very pricey (both came to over $17, and the tea was quite small) but tea was good quality and the sandwich was tasty- good bread, delicious aioli, and the salad had an amazing dressing. Not much chicken though, which is annoying for a $14 sandwich. Interior is bright and clean - definitely a hipster coffee shop making the most of a gentrifying neighborhood. Along time ago they had avocado toast, I dont know if they still serve it or plan to after covid maybe but it was easily the best avocado toast in long beach, with arugula and a poached egg at a reasonable price they also had delicious huge salads I loved getting back when we could eat indoors. They have alternatives milks which is a must for any coffee place. Music isn't too loud and the baristas are so helpful and fantastic. Coffee is a lil pricey,but worth it. read more

Heard about their new location, stopped by for an iced coffee and to read/write. Great atmosphere! St least 15 tables for seating, some long most for two people, plenty of seating, outlets for plugging devices, free WiFi. Music is just right, does not drown out conversation. Restrooms available. Bike parking outside. Enjoyed an iced coffee with House made vanilla (never seen vanilla specks in a syrup, was delicious). Coffee was not watered down, was rich and frothy. A delightful open fresh environment with multiple architectural designs happening. It's an industrial modern feel. The temperature is perfect and the music is soft . I tried this delicious fermented banana bread simply because it looked so delicious and it's hands down one of the best banana breads I've ever had in my life. It's the perfect amount of real bananas and sweetness combined I ordered peppermint rose tea and it came with its own little tea pot check out my photo and it's something I've never experienced . It was my own personal tea if that makes sense. The main course for me was my avocado toast which came with arugula and shaved fennel. If you look at my picture you can see the fresh cracked pepper on it . The bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside definitely a staple for sourdough and the arugula of course gave the nutty flavor it's none for which perfectly complimented the toast . This is a place where you can actually sit enjoy the the day because they're are windows and seats outside. I will be coming here to actually work on my laptop because it's the perfect atmosphere for it. Honestly it's perfect for breakfast, brunch, a date and social gathering . I'm actually sad I waited so long to come here and even more sad I waited to long to order more banana bread I went back and it was all gone. My return here is imminent. read more

Holy smokes who knew a coffee shop could turn Into the best restaurant in town 3 nights a week. INCREDIBLE. It was the best meal I've had in a long long looooong time . I am a avid meat eater however Chef Mellisa's menu makes you forget all about meat. Shrimp meatballs, shrimp head "chips and salsa" (omg amazing!!), seacuterie board, clams and beans ( with shrimp chorizo !!!), roasted squash and the mushroom dish that is just superb . Every dish is delicious and is so different then anything I have ever tried . Chef Melissa is truly a genius with her flavor combinations and creative dishes. I will be back many many times and will be spreading the word. Amazing how this place hasn't blown up yet but I have a feeling it will soon. So go try it out before you can't get a table! read more

Tried Rose Park for the first time this morning because I just moved nearby and it's in walking distance - which may not be good for my wallet but my love for coffee is excited! Very spacious patio outdoors, perfect for sitting and enjoying your drink in the sunshine. The inside is clean and simple yet nicely decorated. They have fresh made pastries, and according to the menu even have house made coconut milk. They also have multiple milk alternatives. I tried the iced caramel latte, and was not disappointed. Not too sweet, just the perfect hint of caramel along side the high quality espresso and organic milk. Definitely satisfied! Looking forward to going back to try other drinks and pastries! read more

We ordered all but two of the starters, a dozen sweet briny fresh oysters, a baked/stuffed winter squash w the flavors of Pakistan topped w crunchy roasted pistachios, a baby tomato and sardine plate w a light vinaigrette that blew our socks off, a salad w the best green goddess dressing, a buttery grilled brioche toast stuffed w real crab meat. 2 flights of Sake and a bottle of extra dry rose. What a meal. Carina was our server and was on her game. The Chef chatted w us and was generous about sharing a few of her key ingredients. This Chef is the real deal. Can't wait to return. Andrew just made me a half sweet maple lavender latte and it is DIVINE. He treated every step of the process with care and attention right down to the zesting of orange at the end. If I try anything but my plain latte or basic espresso I'm usually disappointed, but Andrew made my day and I will be stopping here whenever I can. The space is large and filled with natural light, modern/minimalist decor, and plenty of seating. Friendly baristas. My Iced Americano was strong and expertly made, but had overly floral flavors and high acidity that I did not love. They use Oatly oat milk, a solid non-dairy option. All of their baked goods are made in house. The Orange Chocolate Chip Scone was nothing special, but the Valrhona Chocolate Cookie was memorable. Thin and crisp, while still managing to be tender and soft on the inside, the high quality of French chocolate was apparent. They have a small menu of breakfast and lunch fare as well. We haven't been here for brunch yet but for dinner Chef Melissa cooks up a locally grown, sustainable, high quality, suuper tasty meal, inside of a cute little coffee shop. We have been following her around the city for a while and you can expect that anything Chef Melissa touches will be delicious! This time she has paired up with TransparantSea Farm and Long Beach Mushrooms to produce a veggie/seafood centric menu, which means plenty of vegan friendly options. We basically ordered every dish and all were so good. Pair that with some local beers or locally roasted coffee beans and you've basically sampled what Long Beach beach as a city can offer. Seriously, coming here makes my heart swell with pride for our city. Supporting locally owned businesses never tasted so good! read more

The latte taste of pure milk, it's like there was a hint of macha was scarcely sprinkled on top. Today we waited over 20 minutes for an order of yogurt + granola (with no customers before or after us) with zero acknowledgment of our extended wait time. It wasn't until we brought the issue to the staff's attention, in which we received two drink vouchers; no offer to refund our full order. The to-go order was received and poorly assembled with minimal yogurt and a terrible yogurt to granola ratio.
