    Cappuccino

I tried their cappuccino and enjoyed sitting inside the cafe. They use a blend of a light roast espresso. While it's a nice cup of cap, it's very smooth taste of espresso while I like mine to be more espresso forward cap. Breakfast options, sandwiches and pastries available Service was friendly and quick. Ambiance is nice inside and out. They also have coffee making accessories available for sale as well as candles and tea.

Gave this place a try and it was pretty okay. It's a nice quaint little coffee shop! The staff were really nice. Theres some seating inside and outside! I got the carrot cake latte, which was actually very delicious! The coffee tasted smooth and the cream cheese cold foam was sooooo good! We also got a matcha with sugar free vanilla syrup, but it was kind of disappointing. Maybe it was an off day, but it tasted sort of sour and a bit weird.

At the corner of 4th & Elm, you'll find a wonderful coffee joint where you can feel right at home. Pretty fast service that comes with a smile. Great indoor vibes, but it's even better outside to people watch the very vibrant and diverse community in this part of DTLB. I enjoyed my pistachio latte. Their other menu items look and smells amazing. Definitely worth coming back!

Passed by this spot and looked decent enough- and glad I did. Honey pistachio latte was very tasty with a nice balance of sweet without losing the coffee taste. From what I could tell the food looked tasty, but didn't order this time. Was oddly warm inside so opted for to-go

I found this place on Yelp and was so excited to try! I seem good reviews here and on TikTok. My sister and I finally got around to trying it. It's a quaint coffee shop in the heart of downtown Long Beach. I was lucky to find street parking. Upon arrival, I wasn't impressed or disappointed. Everything was pretty standard. They had a regular menu and limited time or seasonal menu. The service was sub par. Kind of dry but they were kinda busy. I ordered two drinks, the smores and brown butter or sugar one. The smores had more flavor (I asked for extra sweet on both) the browned butter one was nothing spectacular. They were smooth but didn't have a strong coffee profile. I don't think it was good enough to go back but I can see why the locals enjoy it.

Great vibes, solid coffee, & solid breakfast sandwich. Friendly service! The breakfast sandwich was the star! The brioche bun, sweet & spicy jam, bacon, egg, tomato , greens, and red onion all came together perfectly!!

Camp fire latte (?) It had a SINGLE melted marshmallow.

If you weren't looking hard enough, you can easily miss this place. I dont know if it play on word in part that "Hideout" is a part of their name or it just happens to be that difficult to find. Just be aware. Customer service is great. The pastries looked fresh. The interior looked clean. The coffee... it was okay. I can say it won't be my go-to place for coffee considering how competitive coffee is in Long Beach, but I would still say to check them out.

This is a vibrant little coffee shop on a downtown corner of Long Beach. The breakfast foods are great and the coffee is even better. I got the breakfast burrito that appears to have come fresh off the panini press and it was a delight. I followed that up with one of their spring, seasonal drinks, the cherry blossom cloud brew. The foam was delectable and their cold brew coffee was strong but not bitter, a perfect cup

I came in for their Winter Series! I ordered their Matcha Grinch Latte drink (not sure if that was the name since it was handwritten and not on the printed out menu.) My friend got the campfire latte, and while I don't drink coffee, I can confidently say that this place does not serve good matcha. It tasted closer to chocolate milk than actual matcha. I'm sure they have better drinks, but for anyone else, stay away from the matcha if you want to save your 7 dollars. Parking is limited but the interior more than makes up for the drinks, it's got outlets, and plenty of tables for college students, but I can see it being busy during finals.

The Cookie Butter Latte and Sunrise Sandwich were both amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The Bonilla family is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. Great coffee, great food, and even better hospitality. I'll definitely be back!

Honestly on the top of my coffee list. I come here at least once a week. I've only had the cookie butter coffee but why fix what's not broken. Would recommend this place to anyone. And the servers are so sweet !

I don't know what people are writing about when they say rude service... I think they must have been the rude ones and not the people working there. The staff were very friendly and even checked on me after I started eating. The lady taking my order said she makes the vanilla syrup for the cloud coffee herself and they have single origin beans so the coffee is strong and tasty. The breakfast burrito was delicious and was pressed so it stayed intact and didn't fall apart as I was eating it. They have cute cafe tables outside that are perfect if you bring your furry friend.

Cute coffee spot in Long Beach. We walked here from our hotel - The Hyatt. Inside has seating, it's quiet, clean, and perfect to relax and enjoy coffee. Service was a little slow because only 3 people were working and they were very busy! I understand why. The cold brew I got with eggnog cold foam was amazing. The coffee wasn't bitter and the egg nog made it creamy. We enjoyed our iced coffees as we walked around Long Beach the rest of the morning.

We also accidentally ordered our niece's soft serve in a cup instead of a cone. When I mentioned it, they kindly made us a new one in a cone at no extra charge, which was really appreciated. The customer in front of us was also confused about his pickup order, and the staff handled it politely and professionally. Overall, the service was excellent! This time (yesterday), however, was not nearly the same experience. First of all, I realized we couldn't book a table for 8 people, so me and my friends book 2 tables for 8.30PM. I called asking if it's possible to put our tables together close or side by side, they said they will try their best. We all showed up at 8.30 and waited until around 9-9.15 because they only had 1 table ready. Ok. Come the time the other table opened and it's not even that close to each other. But it's okay, I respect the limitations on this part. No one came to us to take our order or even give us water until way later, and we got our drinks at 9.45. Another critique is that my friend called and ask how much corkage fee and they said $25. It turned out to be $40. Another disappointment, but it's ok. Not much can be done bout that part. Next thing is the food. We enjoyed the fried green beans. Crudo was really really salty, and it's not only 1 person thought that. We wondered if the kitchen mistakenly salted the fish twice. We enjoyed the peach salad. We ordered a few different pasta and the tagliatelle in particular was disappointing. It really lacked flavor that we had to mix the other pasta dish sauce to it. The pork plate was good, a bit small but we enjoyed it. Now the mussles and frites were disappointing too. The sauce just didn't do it for me (other friends agreed). I always talked really highly about Nonna Mercato (I also enjoyed the brunch so much) and always told people that this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Long Beach, but this one really missed the mark for me and my friends. I don't know if this would make us want to go to Summer Nights again next time. For $130 per person (after tax, tip, and corkage fees), I definitely hoped for a much better experience.

It's weird because I didn't think bad of the donuts themselves and could stand to eat them.
