Me and my friend passed by this spot while we were looking for Pressed but decided to stop here…read moreinstead. The cashier was so friendly, beyond friendly. I had a bunch of questions about the different kinds of matcha because I'm a newly matcha girlie and still learning the flavors. I told them I wanted something sweet, and they gave great recommendations and let me know the one I chose was really good quality. When I got it, it was a little strong for me, so we added more oat milk and a splash of vanilla, and that made it perfect. The aesthetic of the café was beautiful; minimalist, bougie, and it literally felt like a high end neighborhood café. The menu was teeny tiny, so it took us a minute to decide. My friend got an iced Spanish latte, and she said it was probably the best one she's ever had, this was also recommended by the cashier. We sat inside, drank our drinks, and did a little people watching out the window. Parking was a little sketch, but overall I definitely recommend and can't wait to go back.

Definitely seems like it is a well loved coffee shop in the Long Beach community. I tried their einspanner latte absolutely delicious and presentation of drink. The only thing is it's difficult to find parking so definitely one of those spots to find parking and chill and sit to enjoy the drink. Other than that would come back. Note: I did not see a bathroom not sure if you have to ask or if they don't have one for public.

I need the recipes, OR to find the distributors for those buttermilk biscuits and Fresno pepper…read morejam. I honestly come to Moongoat because of those things. I like this location more than others because of the bigger parking lot, more seating options (including an upstairs area and outdoor seating), and I've also received better service here compared to other locations. The place is simply decorated, and it honestly is a solid spot if you're looking to crank out some work or meet with colleagues/friends. It does get pretty crowded so it's better to get an early head start if you can, especially on the weekends. In terms of their drinks, my favorite is the blueberry lavender matcha latte. It's on the sweeter side and has a floral aftertaste, but the flavors mix really well together. I typically get their matcha drinks or teas because I'm not a fan of coffee, but my friends that are coffee fiends are fans of the various coffee drinks here. Compared to other cafes, I feel like the cost of the drinks is standard, but the prepared food and pastries are on the steeper side. Still a great spot, I enjoy coming for the atmosphere and biscuits!

I've been to other locations of Moongoat Coffee Roasters, and I continue to be a fan of the brand…read morebut this location was slightly less satisfying than the products I had at their other locations. The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

Was just reminded about it after going to Gremlin Garage in Costa Mesa, which also operates out of a converted mechanics garage. Menu has changed a bit since I last tried this place so I don't know if any of the items I tried in the past would still hold but I remember trying its New Orleans Cold Brew, which was quite good. On today's visit I just got some caffeine free drinks for my kids - Grapefruit Ade and Yuja Frost. Grapefruit Ade was very refreshing. YuJa Frost is a blended drink made with Korean yuja, ginger, and honey. I would personally prefer to have this drink non-blended but the flavor was still very good. One thing that hasn't changed about this place is its great customer service. Everyone has been friendly on all my visits, and this place is kid friendly, which is a big plus for me. It still offers free snacks to kids. There's even a box with big chalks by the entrance for kids to draw and write on the ground. Current menu looks even better than when I was last here so will probably stop by more frequently. I also love the garage vibe.

The vibe is cozy and welcoming, with a steady buzz of customers that shows just how popular this spot is. My fiancé got the iced sweet cream latte and absolutely loved it! smooth, perfectly balanced sweetness, and the espresso was top-notch. I went with the iced Americano topped with banana cold foam, and wow, it was a game changer! The banana foam was creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet, pairing beautifully with the bold espresso. Both drinks were prepared and refreshed us instantly. The only minor downside is parking, which can be a bit tricky, but the location is clearly thriving with tons of foot traffic and business out front, so it's totally understandable. Once you're inside, the excellent drinks and friendly service more than make up for it. We'll definitely be back soon highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality coffee and a great local atmosphere! 4.5 stars in my personal opinion

I like the fact that they roast their own coffee beans in the unit directly next door to the shop. I've also seen that they have a kitchen back there, and they do cook up some very tasty food. I believe they bake their own bakery items as well. The muffins are delicious, and the burritos are extremely fresh and tasty. The burritos are not dry, and they're not stuffed with cheap ingredients like store-bought hashbrowns that other breakfast spots or coffee shops could be putting into the burritos. The salsa that comes with the burritos is also fire af. I feel that if I come here to get coffee and I don't get a burrito, I did a disservice to myself. I love coffee, and I pass dozens of coffee shops on my way to work that I've been to that I also like just to come to Succulent Coffee Roasters because they are above the rest. My only wish is that they would be closer to where I live, and if the owners of the business are going to read this review, please open a location in Orange California.
