My sister and I wanted a mani/pedi and decided to go somewhere close to home. We called Rose Sally to make an appointment and got one for the same day. The people were very nice and helpful. They did a good job on our regular mani/pedi. There were plenty of colors to choose from and the prices were reasonable. The place itself isn't fancy or posh. However I t's clean and has massage chairs. I was grateful that no one tried to upsell us. Overall, we had a delightful experience. I can definitely recommend this salon for a regular mani/pedi. read more

Nice People, but don't go here if you don't have an appointment. They don't take walk ins, and leave no room on the schedule for walk ins. I waited 2 hours and finally walk out after getting there at 8:30 am. enough!! I need to find another nail shop. read more

Great location if your looking for a straightforward nail set and pedicure. This location doesn't really have a menu, in the way I've seen other places bundle(e.g, pedicure, and footscrub and callus remover) so everything is an add-on to the base prices. I was surprisingly pleased by the decor on my nails. I was going to go to a my regular girl that does amazing designs, but I was running out of time in preparation for my wedding so I took a chance and did my nails here and they were great! See the picture. you can make an appointment and I would suggest that you do that given that they are pretty busy. Thankfully my mom made an appointment for both of us since there were already three ladies outside, waiting as walk-ins at the beginning of the day. read more

This is my favorite nail salon. I've been going here for a year now and Tu is my go-to. Her work is perfection and very quick. Everyone is very friendly. It's easy to get in I usually make an appointment early in the day and go in an hour or so later. Walk-ins are welcome, sometimes you might get serviced right away and other times you may have to wait a short time. read more

Visiting LA and need a fill and pedi. I am very particular with my nails. The business accommodated me for a same day within the hour appointment. I absolutely appreciate that. Parking is challenging, the lot is very small for the amount of business. Customer service was average, quality of work was okay, business sanitation was horrendous. The pedicure didn't address calluses removal. Ingrown nails were not addressed as they should have been. Nail technician did a horrible job on those specific areas. Will I return? Nope. read more

All of you made me feel comfortable here! I got my pedicure done first to try them out. It was affordable and beautiful! My toe nails were very short and I like them a little longer so I got all my toes done with only acrylic no nail attached and wow! They look magnificent! Ayyee! So I went in a couple days later. Even though they are always packed. You will get an appointment and it's not a long wait at all. I went to get my hands manicured and a new set of acrylic nails in pink gel yesterday, Friday May 9,2025 even though I had my appointment scheduled for today, Saturday May 10, 2025. My plans had changed and I needed them done sooner. I waited 45 minutes without appointment. Not that bad. The technicians were very friendly. Sheesh! I was even drinking wine in there with my straw just chilling. They did an amazing job. I'd definitely go again and I'm recommending them to everyone! Ayyee! This was by far the worst experience at a nail salon that I have ever received , I went in for a basic pedicure and they were taking out a hang nail but they were digging in there making it very painful to tolerate and I even told the lady it hurt but she just kept going . The next day my two big toes started hurting and I looked at them and realized I got an infection in both of my toes where she took the hang nails out from. I will never go back there ever again ! read more

Okay so I didn't want to post a review after one time of getting my nails done here but let me tell you! Mike is the man! The first time I found a pic online and wanted my nails done exactly like the pic and coffin shaped. He literally did it exactly! Now fast forward, I came back again and he did it again. Never disappoints. Pedicure came out amazing by the lady also. The prices are super affordable and inexpensive. It's not like the best ambiance or fancy inside but it gets the job done. Parking can get a bit tricky though. But regardless, I'll be coming back forever! read more

I walked in asking for a basic job the nails from the bottom are so thick I ask the Tech to please re do the line from my finger the line literally goes side ways he re did it and said the machine makes it go side ways I was so confused and asked to re do it he suggested to do it black because he apparently couldn't fix it he was on a face time call not focused on what i was requesting Now not only is one finger thicker then the other the lines are sideways and uneven a $60 dollar job after asking to fix it multiple times and I just walked out upset read more

LOVE AND MISS THIS PLACE SOOO MUCH!!! My nails are crying out loud for some love this is the only place I'll ever get done, with DON! He does my nails literally just the way I like it every. Time. Without fail !!! I get the same color, shape, everything every time. I miss my papaya whip, best color WVER!!! The compliments never stop when I had my nails done Price is so unbelievably cheap, you're in and you're out timely. Never had a bad experience here!! I put all my friends onto this place happily! It was amazing experience. My feet were long overdue for a pedicure. I was one of those who was skeptical about going back the nail salons post Covid however I am not an expert in pedicures. I had an event to go to where shoes and socks were not permitted so off I went and when I say the Pedicurist TuTu was gentle,professional and put a lot of care into my service. When I say my feet felt better and looked amazing. Now this establishment is not all glitz and glam but it's clean and customer service Is great. read more

I wasn't going to post a review, but as the days went by, the more upset I got. Ok so here is what happened. I showed the guy the nail design I would like and the shape. The shape was excellent! Exactly how I wanted them! I paid extra for gel and that same day I had 2 chipped nails. As the days went by, more and more nails chipped. Now day 6 all 10 nails have chipped!! I paid for gel so they wouldn't chip!! Also, the design looks nothing like the picture I showed him! I included a picture to show how bad my nails have chipped! I've never had this happen with gel! So upset! On a good note, staff were friendly, prices were decent, and place was clean. read more

"It's a 20 minute wait," he (Mike) said. -_- It was more like an hour wait. The sad part is that once tricked into waiting for 20 minutes, you think, "okay, maybe I am next." Then another 10 minutes pass by, and you think, "Okay, any minute now, I'll be called next." And you don't see any movement...no one leaving their pedicure massage chairs or manicure desk chairs. So another 10 minutes go by, and at this point, you're a little irritated but you've already waited for so long, that you might as well wait it until you're called. You see people coming in being told "20-30 minute wait, just sign in." Lies. Lies. You don't have the energy in you to warn them because you still want to get your gel manicure ($30) and regular pedicure ($23) done. It's your turn, and you get the damn thing done! It is "okay" work. $54 bucks ($30 + $23 + $1 for paying with debit/credit) is pretty steep for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. $8 extra if you want a design (for two nails) but I didn't because I was told my nails were too short. So I respect that. I'd say my nails are cute, but I'm not sure if it was worth the wait or $. After a long day with teenagers, I just wanted some self care. Overall, I don't mind a wait time, what matters to me is HONESTY. Just tell me the time and I can decide if I am willing to wait it out or come another day (or go elsewhere), but don't sucker me into staying, by lying. They're a toxic boyfriend you don't want. Or maybe you do, but you've been told. read more

Highly Recommend! I live in Mid-city and was looking for a new salon after moving. Rose sally has great prices and I always leave feeling like they didn't cut any corners. Gel nails for $30 is almost impossible to find in LA, and I love that when they do a gel manicure, they really take their time and don't leave out the manicure part (cutting cuticles, massage, filing nails, etc). The only thing I would change is a bigger selection of colors, but can't complain at all about the quality of service. They don't take appointments so get there early to write down your name and be prepared to park on the street if needed since their lot is very small. read more

I loved how summer did my regular pedi $25 for reg pedi The only thing I didn't like was that when I got there they told me it would be a little wait and it took 30min that's too much when there is a lot of workers But overall the pedi was fast and nice read more

The service here is not that good, because apparently I wanted a specific design, which was not that hard to do. They should have told me beforehand if they thought they couldn't do it, but they told me during the time they were doing it. So I believed they can do it, so I waited only to find out they said it's not going to be exactly like the picture. Then I let them try it out and it looked nothing like the picture. Waste of time, and honestly if they did a good job, why would I ask for a refund? Never going back again thanks. Also 60 dollars for French tip that is really not even read more

I came in with some nasty nails that I got done at another nail salon. The Rose Sally team were more than happy to get them fixed! Mike did an absolute perfect job with my light pink and white ombré nails. I AM IN LOVE!! The salon has a welcome vibe, the team is funny, and let me tell you getting your nails done here is not boring at all. The crew will have you laughing!!! read more

I walked in at noon on a Monday and waited 40 minutes to get a refill (with matte black and a golden accent finger- only $21!) I got Mike who was lovely, we chatted about the differences in acrylic, dip and gel and that was super helpful to me as I'm new to the country and there are different terms for everything. Mike is efficient and skilled and offers ideas and creativity too. HUGE NOTE: I appreciated Mike's soft touch; I don't know how many nail places I've been to where they are so rough on my nails I flinch from them buffing so violently, so I HAD to leave this review because I'm now not going anywhere else. This is also the first salon that uses reusable little finger pockets to fill with acetone and cotton to soak off nails, I thought it was genius and way better than aluminium foil, or soaking your fingers in a bowl of acetone. I really liked this place. I came on a busy Saturday afternoon and the team did very well trying to get everyone in although there was a long wait. Henry did my nails and although he was not very versatile and experienced, he did an okay job. The reason for the 1 star off is because he left some pink gel polish from my previous nail color on with my new nail color. I asked him twice to remove it and he just smiled at me. Really dude? I also wanted to get 2 nail designs but I would have had to wait another 20 min for the other guy to do it so I said never mind. Also, I felt like they did not have many colors to pick from. I wanted to get my toes done too but I would have been there even longer. They had a lot of regulars so the place is super friendly and I feel if I went on a slow day, I would have had a better experience. I made the…read moreappointment the same morning, approximately 30 minutes before the appointment time, so this was not an appointment I'd had scheduled for days or weeks, nor had I ever been to this location before. I was literally trying to find the studio for the first time. They have a seven-minute grace period, which is unusually strict, particularly given how difficult their location is to navigate. I was not given clear instructions about where to park. Once you arrive, there is no sign identifying the studio by its name anywhere that I could see. The building signage/directory was in Korean, and I could not find English signage identifying the studio. As someone who does not read Korean and had never been there before, I had no obvious way of knowing where the business was located. I called approximately eight minutes after my appointment time while I was already parking and explained that I was there and that finding the parking had been confusing. I was told that my appointment had already been canceled because they only offer a seven-minute grace period. So, to be clear: I was a first-time customer who had booked approximately 30 minutes earlier, was physically at the location and parking, and was ONE MINUTE beyond their grace period--and they had already canceled my appointment. On top of that, they never notified me that they canceled it. No call. No text. Nothing. Had I not called them myself, I would have parked, gone inside, tried to navigate a building where their studio was not clearly identified to me, and apparently only then discovered that my appointment had been canceled. I completely understand businesses having late policies. What I don't understand is having such a rigid seven-minute cutoff while providing a first-time customer with inadequate information for navigating an unfamiliar and confusing location--and then offering absolutely no understanding or flexibility when that customer is already there and parking one minute beyond the cutoff. The way the phone conversation was handled was probably the most disappointing part. There was no attempt to understand the situation, help, accommodate me, or even acknowledge the confusion. It was simply that my appointment had already been canceled. The interaction came across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude. Policies are one thing; customer service is another. If you're going to have an unusually strict seven-minute grace period, then provide first-time customers with exceptionally clear parking and arrival instructions and notify them if you're canceling their appointment. A little communication, courtesy, and reasonable flexibility would have completely changed this experience. Instead, they lost a brand-new customer before I ever even made it through the door. I will not be returning.

We have to tell the technician what color we want and they pick out a few to show us. I'd rather evaluate colors myself. A first for me. The other detail - and why I've moved on to another salon is that I typically get a gelx manicure: the two times I've gotten this service done, the gelx popped off a finger (or two) after 1-2 weeks. That means, I need to run back and get it corrected, which is more time and money I don't care to spend (I've been able to have my gelx stay on (and get refills) for more than a 2 weeks elsewhere). She is also an excellent esthetician, and I will be going to her from now on for all my eyebrow needs. I met her in her little room inside Cherie Nail at the Koreatown Galleria, next to the food court. It was a neat, functional space, with a single bed for customers to lie down and entrust her with their faces. It had been over a year since my last microblading appointment, and the pigment had definitely faded. Connie also pointed out that it had turned slightly red, noting that the fine lines made by microblading smudged and turned reddish on some people's skin. She suggested a different permanent makeup technique that might be better for me, and I told her to go ahead and do as she thought best. She sketched out a shape, which I approved, then waxed my brows and started the process of filling them in. I took a nap and woke up with fresh, handsome eyebrows that had no relation to my DNA. Connie used a technique I'd never heard of called powder spray, and it looks fantastic. Less natural than microblading but like meticulous make-up, better than any pencil job I've ever done. It was also significantly less painful than microblading. It's been a little over a week and I love my new eyebrows.
