Had a reservation. Arrived on time and were seated. Took a while to get menus, 45 minutes to get bread. No water served and were required to purchase bottled water if we wanted water. Food took an hour to be served. Only 1 person cooking and 1 person serving and handling all the take out orders. Everything was served in plastic takeout containers and cheap paper plates. Our bill was around $240 plus tip for 4 people for appetizers and dinner. It's BYOB. For this price point we should not be eating on plastic and buying bottled water. Arancini balls were good. Herb crusted salmon was plain in a pool of something. Pizza was not good. They really need to have china and glasses and more help on service. One of the most authentic experiences I had at an Italian restaurant in the US. The owners and the restaurant size, only 6 tables, makes it a cozier experience. Everything my husband and I had, stuff mushrooms, the daily gravy, Cappuccino, biscotti, and cannoli, was absolutely delicious. There was plenty of free street parking in front of the restaurant. We stopped in for a quick meal for the first time on a weeknight and were so impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Portions were extremely generous. My husband and I came here on a date night- we brought a bottle of red wine from the liquor store around the corner for Rosemarie's BYOB. Chef Paul and Marie were gracious and welcoming, not at all annoyed with my order change (3 times!). Starters: hot rolls with butter (umptious and we asked for more immediately), Italian salad (perfectly dressed) and stuffed mushrooms (toasty and decadent with crab). My husband and I both got pasta dishes- his was linguine and meatballs, mine was rigatoni bolognese with an extra meatball (thanks chef Paul!!). The pasta was simply delicious and the servings were generous. The meatball melted in my mouth, so tender and flavorful. Dessert was an unexpected delight- mouthwatering cannoli made in-house, and chocolate cake truffles. They put a candle in one and came out singing happy birthday to my husband which was so lovely and added to the cozy, intimate atmosphere.
