It's easier to enter the plaza heading West on Garvey and it's not the easiest place to find as it has a small entry driveway. They only take cars made after 1999 as they do not have a dyno. Came down early around 9:45am my dad called the number to ask about pricing and Mr. Ngo mentioned he was running late (10:30am) due to traffic. We waited he showed up. Star smog check cost $55 ($46.75 smog + $8.25 certificate + $0 electronic transfer fee= $55) as of this review 12/2025. Reasonable as i have seen some star smog on yelp in west covina charging $65. Mr. Ngo went right to work, hooked up the car, filled put the necessary info and in about 15 minutes was done. Info sent to dmv and i was on my way. Recommend coming to LC smog for your star smog check needs.

The biggest thing I've noticed recently is the change in the team's attitude. Before, whenever I asked for a small favor or wanted them to pay attention to something, I sometimes felt like I was being a pain. Lately though, it's been the complete opposite. The staff are much friendlier, easy to communicate with, and most of them speak great English. They actually listen to what you're asking for and make the effort to get it done. The wash might take a few extra minutes now, but I'd much rather have that if it means they're taking their time and paying attention to the details. As someone who's been coming here for years, I finally feel like my voice is heard and that they genuinely appreciate their monthly members. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. I don't know what happened to this place. I've been coming here for 30 years with over 10 different…read morecars. This year (2026) is the first time I have experienced a a bad service. Not once, but twice in a row. I came to get my van washed about a month ago with Bronze wash. I always get the bronze wash. They didn't vacuum the rear seats and the trunk. They did not wipe my front console, windshield, front dash, and middle console. They did not wipe down the inside of the doors and hatch where it closes to the car. I gave them a pass. It was a hot day. Today, I came with my wife. We brought both of our cars. This time they took time on my van. My wife's car was out 30 min before mine was finished and hers was washed about 20 min after mine went through the wash. Her car was not vacuumed in the rear, the trunk, and the front and middle console was not wiped down. We can still see fingerprints on the front touch panel. My wife had already left. Got home and noticed all of these things. I complained to the supervisor. I told him I've been coming for 30 years. Told him about my last experience. All he offered was to ask my wife to drive back down for them to clean the rest. He said he will double check my van to make sure it's clean. My wife is already home and has already cleaned the mess they didn't clean. I don't know about any other patrons, but you should not have to double check the work. I never did since 1996. There have been a few missed spots here and there, but it was minor. Something's wrong with the operation. It's not the same. I still have a free wash to claim. We will see if these two stars will go to 5 stars. I wanted to give 1 star, but 2 just because they been better. I want it to get their attention to improve. At $35 for bronze service, you guys be the judge.

He said $50 special since I called ahead. I got there about an hour later, and I was fourth in line. The parking is a good size, and there is some street parking. The business is right in the corner so it's easy to spot. I waited less than an hour and was out. I'll be back in two hours when I needed another smog check.
