3.5 stars. Has Rosenberg's changed their bagels? I've been here a bunch over the years and always thought they had one of the best bagels in Colorado, but lately it feels like the quality has changed. I'll preface this by saying that the bagels are still good, but they used to taste more authentically New York with the crunchy bubbly exterior and perfectly chewy interior. We ordered some sandwiches and a 1/2 dozen bagels to go and I just felt they didn't have as much flavor. I got the Reuben with turkey and it was super enjoyable and loaded with turkey, which I appreciated especially for the price. The pumpernickel bagel was good and paired great with the sandwich fillings. The pickle on the side was super crunchy and delicious and it's nice that you get a bag of chips with the lunch Sammies. We had an egg bagel and onion bagel at home and they just didn't have a ton of flavor. Thankfully we got some veggie cream cheese, which is very good. read more

A good ol' NY bagel deli. My NY heart is happy with this place and it feels like it should. Good selection of bagels, good selection of cream cheese, hefty schmear sandwiched in between the two slices and served quickly. I was pleased to see they sell "mini bagels" which is actually a sufficient amount of food for me personally. I came for breakfast with some fellow Mom friends and some of them had to ask for boxes to pack up their leftovers from their normal, large sized bagels. The bagels have the right taste and texture for a NY bagel. I will preface that this review is based solely on their round raisin challah offered for the Jewish New Year. I purchased a round raisin challah which looked to be about a 1lb. There was no pricing on the wall where the challah was so I was pretty surprised to see it rang up as $20 + tax. My husband went back to double check the price and noticed there were 6 mini round challahs for $8.50 but no pricing for any of the larger round challahs nor the 2lb challah. The challah itself was fine (not bad but not great either) but thetr were no actual raisin pieces in it, just a few tiny specs of what looked to be ground up raisin. As someone who loves raisin in challah I was throughly disappointed and am unlikely to come back to try their bagels. read more

Love a good bagel and schmear so naturally Rosenberg's has ben one of my go to places but sadly, it's gone down hill service wise. Ordering is a breeze here but even that and the fact they they have Dr. Brown's Soda (paying homage to the bagel shops and delis I'm used to going to in South Florida) doesn't want me to come back for more. I LOVE ROSENBERGS!!! They use fresh fish and a dry curing technique. Serving you quality goodness. I was a bit hesitant with the pricing at first for a bagel. It was just something I couldn't convince myself with. So much so I didn't purchase any bagel. It started off by redeeming a check in coupon for a free bagel and schmear (min $5 purchase) from my bf's sister's tab. I redeemed a poppy bagel with caviar schmear. Took it home. AND OH MY GOD. I had fallen in love. Caviar and cream cheese heaven. My next trip to Colorado, we got to try the high class (subbed the red onion for roasted red peppers). I recommend if you are not a fan of a certain topping just ask to sub it!! Ronnie's favorite is perfect for whitefish and salmon lovers. Both fish bagels come with a side of a pickle and chips! Make sure to grab the chips because they won't serve it to ya. There are build your own options and take home schmears, bagels. There are also salads and breakfast options if you're not in the mood for a bagel. Drinks are locally sourced so definitely grab a few to support the community. My favorite part was also drinking a side of coffee from Logan's house which is located right beside Rosenburgs! Highly recommend grabbing while waiting for your food. What a wonderful place for breakfast if you have already hit up all the Denver staples. Ordering is a breeze from the wonderful staff with a down to earth attitude that only comes when visiting your long time friends. the inside is a bit echoey but is good enough where I saw many people work on their laptops. I ordered a plain bagel sausage breakfast sandwich along with an orange juice. Everything was spot on but just couldn't stomach the price again. Heard these were as close to NY bagels you can get in Denver. Honestly, wasn't too bad. I'd say the bagel itself is better than some bagels I've had in NYC. Definitely a little skimpy on the egg + cheese but it satisfied my craving for a bagel. Coffee was good. Also, they messed up my bagel order originally and it had ketchup splattered all over it lol, but they fixed it immediately and were apologetic. Not sure if they're toasting the bagels. We asked for toasted. All 3 of our bagels were cold and didn't seem toasted. Staff is not friendly, which was embarrassing because we brought a friend from out of town. The flavored bagels, such as the raisin bagel, don't taste like anything. Definitely won't be back. The line can get long at Rosenberg's, but it moves pretty fast. The servers are very brusque, so know you get any of the items in the baskets at the cash register when you order a sandwich. The sandwich from Rosenberg's did not disappoint! The bagels are not toasted there, as I was told when I ordered they do not toast their bagels. This was ok for a sandwich - they tossed it on a grill for a few minutes, but is a deal breaker when it comes to any plan to buy bulk with shmears. Every time I go to Stanley, I see people getting boxes of pizza from this place so I had to try it. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. I got my pizza to-go but there is ton of seating inside. The pizza here is pretty solid! I see why people meep coming back. The crust is on the thinner side. There is a good amount of cheese on the pizza, but I would say it's the perfect amount (we're looking at you Costco ). They also have this house-made ranch that they will provide if you ask for it. The only thing that was a little confusing was where to order and where to pick up. The dining area was busy with people standing waiting for there order. There are two small signs that show where the Lin starts but it was confusing to the customers. I think the ambiance was good. Was looking for a family dinner and decided to try some pizza for my son since he's usually pretty good for it... for $10 he got a large slice of pizza and I also got some garlic knots that looked super tasty! The garlic knots were very fresh and soft... the pizza was also really good and my son literally scarfed it down and ate the whole slice in a way that I've never seen before... so I was definitely happy cause of the time he just takes like 4 or 5 bites and then he's done. I can't speak to the bagels here, but we ordered a pizza for take out tonight and it was perfect. The pepperoni was crispy on the edges, cheese was salty perfection, and the crust was lightly toasted on the bottom with a soft crust. I love this place. When I first moved to Denver, I was looking for a great bagel place when a date told me about Rosenberg's. It switched our first date from whatever we planned to the one in 5 points. The line was long but worth it. Flash forward 5 years and the Stanley Market location is closer to me. I'm a solid whitefish or salmon, cream cheese, capers, onions type of guy. I've been adventurous and tried their wasabi caviar one as well. I've never had a bad bagel. I tend to spend a lot every time km here to pick up a few extra tubs of cream cheese or whitefish. Their bagels freeze well. A few notes. One, they don't toast their bagels because they're fresh and hot. If you're getting a sandwich it is sliced. The schemer is hearty. I usually finish my bagel which is so uncommon because it's pretty hearty and portion large. I heard a rumor they import their water from NYC. I believe it's more likely they do reverse osmosis (is that possible? - please don't correct me on the internet, I'll die). My favorite bagels tend to be Onion or Everything. Honorable mentions are Egg Everything and Salt. I don't know if they have a spicy bagel. Happy Bagel. Rosenberg's in Five Points is where I used to take guests to when visiting us in Denver. But now that I've moved away, I find myself going to the Stanley Marketplace location each time based on where our friends live and so I can grab a scoop of Sweet Cow Ice Cream while I'm there. It is always a must have when visiting Denver for me. I order an egg everything with scallion cream cheese and then a dozen egg everything bagels that I order the day before, just so I'm not THAT person who goes the day of and takes the last of the bagels. Their bagels are chewy and delicious even when individually wrapped and frozen months later. I rarely have to toast them because they taste fresh when thawed. When I bring them back to San Diego, I make my own scallion or chive cream cheese and top the bagels with that and an over easy egg which makes it nice and gooey. read more

The place definitely reminded me of a NY deli so I was imagining that they'd have really good bagels. Sadly, I was mistaken. We got a garlic bagel with plain cream cheese and an oatmeal raisin bagel. The cream cheese serving was far too hefty for the small bagel but the garlic flavor and garlic bits certainly tried to stand up to it. While my husband was able to power his way through the garlic bagel, the oatmeal raisin bagel was burnt in places, hard, and inedible. After a few bites that required significant jaw power, I tossed the rest of it. I was very surprised to find such a tough bagel in the mix as the line was long when we went on a Sunday morning. So I assumed that the bagels were being made fresh. The redeeming thing about this visit was the peach, apricot apple juice that they sold. It was a really wonderful spin on apple juice. This place offers a number of options for bagel sandwiches and spreads, including great-sounding fish spreads. After watching them handle the fresh fish as we waited in line, I planned on returning to try some of the seafood options. After tasting their bagel though, I'm not sure if I'll be heading back here soon. read more

This is an awesome deli joint in Stanley Marketplace. I got my classic cream cheese and lox on an EGG BAGEL (so glad they had these), and my boyfriend got the Jersey Boy. I was told that Rosenberg's has a filtration system that mimics the mineral content of NYC's water, which results in bagels that taste authentically NY-style. They were AMAZING. From the bagels and deli foods to the baked goods, they had so many delicious options for everyone. The staff is super friendly and I could tell it is a local favorite.
