Darn. I was really hoping for a killer pastrami sandwich. That did not happen.Note, this was a take out order but nonetheless the pastrami was a bit dry and in my opinion too thinly sliced. Kudos to the delicious rye bread.

I was quite impressed with this deli! I have rarely been to a kosher deli outside the NYC area which had good food and this one certainly did! The front of the deli has a store with a large variety of groceries and meats and wine. In the back is a sit down restaurant and what looks like a small catering hall. Even if you don't adhere to the rules of kashrut, I highly recommend the restaurant! The food is wonderful and the staff are pleasant!

When in the area we do our shopping for Passover and also for general kosher foods as they have a very good inventory.

Good service. My corned beef was passable but nothing memorable. All in all everything is kinda "meh"

Ask the Community - East Side Kosher Deli

    Is there outdoor seating?

No there is not. The seating is inside in the rear of a market. You have to really look to find the seating just past the deli counter

Everything we needed for Shabbat (including grape juice, candles and a havdalah set) and food was delicious.

I'd call Leven Deli Co. a modern deli with both newer and traditional items. What's typical is…read morethat it is busy and lively inside. There's also ample outdoor seating, depending on the weather. The menu has many delectable items making it hard to choose, in a good way. In fact, if I lived in Denver, I'd go back again and again to try everything. The "newer" items include Thai curry lentil soup (which was excellent). grilled kabobs, marinated artichokes, esquites, picked cauliflower (excellent and very tart), dolmas (good, standard dolma), a braised pork sandwich, pimento grilled cheese, and many other items from which to choose. The more traditional items are the classic pastrami, reuben, turkey club, and more, plus a meat / deli counter, giving Leven solid delicatessen cred. The french curry potato salad was excellent. The BLT was one of the best ever had according to my friend. The focaccia & mozzarella was amazing as well. For dessert and I admit an impulse buy at the register, the chocolate, tahini, malted milk brownie was thick, decadent, unique and even better the next day. Great location near the Denver Art Museum, making it a great stop after or before perusing the museum, but probably after because you'll be hungry - you gotta eat something. 5/5, 8.5/10.

I rarely leave a review weighted by anything but the food but I found everything about this place…read moreto be so irritating that I can't help myself. The lack of hospitality and thoughtfulness outside the food is regrettable. The first thing in the door you wonder what you're supposed to do. Someone finally came to get us to direct us but you walk to the back of the restaurant and order at the counter. It's really loud so you need to really listen and speak up. It's night club music. Really bad and inexplicably inappropriate for a restaurant. Who's this for? The employees? I couldn't wait to leave 15 minutes into my visit. They have pepper grinders over by the self serve water station. All empty. We asked the person behind the counter and she said she was surprised that they still had those out there and pointed us to the other side of the restaurant where they have those pepper shakers with the bland tasteless stuff. She didn't go get the grinders. They were there for the entire visit. Someone came by and offered us free biscuits. Neither of us wanted one. We couldn't hear what she was saying. I shook my head no but she left one. She wasn't really interested in our response and you could tell she wasn't interested in doing what she was doing at all. We didn't touch it. My wife ordered tomato soup and a southwest salad. She said neither were special. I liked my pastrami Reuben but thought the pickles were unnecessarily spicy. Way over the top for no reason. Someone knows how to bake bread and that's the only nice thing I'm going to say about this restaurant. DoorDash maybe?

Lou's was a cute & cozy deli that made us the most amazing Italian style sandwiches. They also had home made pastas, speciality grocery items & catering. There was limited indoor seating with one table for six, some counter seating & an outdoor patio. We parked on the street. We ordered the Chicken Parm & the Fried Prosciutto BLT Sandwiches online & ate there. Our order was ready right on time & the staff were friendly & fast. The Chicken Parm was delicious - a nicely seasoned chicken cutlet with fresh mozzarella & a very flavorful marinara sauce. My favorite was the Fried Prosciutto BLT, it was fantastic. The prosciutto was crispy & was instead of bacon. In addition, there was shredded lettuce, tomato & a great tasting garlic aioli on a toasted Ciabatta Roll. I loved this place - I can't wait to go back!

I ordered for pick up but I loved the ambiance inside! The food slaps. I got the chicken cutlet. No peppers, pesto I. The side, add herb aioli (some may call this edit a crime)- it was absolutely fucking fire. The price was right too. I got a pic of the over stacked sammmmmy, the bread was so fresh and the ingredients so fresh. Also had the pastries. I will be back. I came back to say 15 out of 10 rainbow cake!!!!
