Met up with a friend here that has a black pepper allergy and they were so nice in accommodating & making sure she had a good meal too. They modified the kale-abasas salad and she loved it! I got the beet & burrata salad which was delicious but a little small. I was glad I added the chicken to fill it out better. My husband got the wagyu truffle burger which was fantastic. He also upgraded to have duck fries on the side, but not sure if those were worth the $9. Next time we'll stick to regular fries. Love the outdoor patio & how it's tucked away so it's not directly looking at the parking lot or Main Street. Will definitely be back to try more as so many items on the menu sound delicious!

This place is GORGEOUS! It is honestly a IG lovers paradise with the photo ready backdrops and neon signs spread about. The food is both bougie but also delicious! I've dined here twice and really enjoyed both visits. Can't wait to return. The last visit, we spotted Chef Obed Mark on the patio reviewing the menu with another employee. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I love the vibrant uniform of the button up rose shirts! We have ordered the duck fries both instances. And the Persian snack is a cheese lovers dream. Cocktails are visually stunning with the edible glitter. Finding the sparkle in the swirls is so enchanting in an already enchanting atmosphere. Seriously feeling like you're transported to a fairytale forest.

From start to finish, you will love this place! We made last minute dinner reservations on Mother's Day because we weren't sure we were going to go to dinner after a busy day. Called to make sure they had availability and was assured they could take us for 7. I assume it was Rose who answered and was so sweet! Arrived for our reservation and were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who took us to our table. Everyone we encountered smiled and were just so kind. Our waiter was Hudson, and he was so patient but thorough and just a genuinely cool guy. He had no problem answering our questions, smiled with every interaction, and was really helpful. We did the prixe fix menu for Mother's Day and OMG! We scarfed down everything! Especially the Persian snack (goat cheese, a balsamic glaze, etc). The pita bread was SO soft and so fresh that it needed to cool down before we could eat. My baby even loved it! The drinks were perfect! Such an interesting twist to a bourbon cocktail. I did have a small issue with my spare rib not being very warm, but it was SOOO good that I couldn't help but to start eating. And I don't even eat red meat! It was THAT good. When Hudson, our waiter, came to check on us, I mentioned it and he insisted that he get me another. I hate to cause issues for the kitchen so I was honestly just going to deal, but I finally agreed and it came out piping hot and even prettier than the first. I wish I had taken a picture of all of our food. We were stuffed! I didn't want to leave. I'm so thrilled we found this Calabasas gem! So many photos ops in there too because the decor is beautiful! You can tell that this is Rose's baby! She was helping to buss tables and keep everything going. Fabulous job! Can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. This place will NOT disappoint!

I've gone here multiple times now for Brunch and Dinner and I give this resturant and solid 8/10. The food is good and the menu is diverse but the ambience alone makes this one of my favorite places to go. So many cute photo ops and perfect for girls night out date night or a birthday dinner like I had. We were there as a group of 20 and the service was good and the food was not bad but i definitely liked the brunch menu more. Theres something for everyone on both their food and drinks menu which made it perfect for the group I had. The drink menu alone is its own book and they have everything from teas to mocktail to cocktails to coffee. It's now my go to spot for brunch!

What a fun find, for the second time!!! Great patio seating with a fire pit and heaters throughout, even have amazing fuzzy blankets that they offer to help keep you warm. Now have 2 private rooms inside and there were people already sitting inside but from what I could see, appeared perfect for a quieter or intimate dining experience. Food was phenomenal and the drinks were excellent. Overall, was very impressed and the staff absolutely went above and beyond. I'll be back soon!!

Service was great. Food over priced for what it was, but it was still fine. I felt like I could have definitely gotten a lot more somewhere else and higher quality for less money elsewhere. I absolutely did not appreciate the extra random charge on the bill having to do with some random fee for healthcare or something along those lines. There was no communication about that and to expect people to just pay it is ridiculous.

We came to this spot with our pup to check out their brunch. Parking is free, convenient and shared with all the shops in the shopping area. We were welcomed by the staff and got seated in their nicely decorated patio area with our pup. I was pleasantly surprised to see a dog menu option. We started with a mimosa flight and all the juices tasted fresh. The Ube latte was a nice caffeine boost with a soft taste of Ube. For appetizer we started with the duck fries and they are so good! Not greasy, good amount sauce and not too salty. Our pup ordered the chicken with vegetables and destroyed the bowl before I had the chance to finish my coffee. The avocado toast was light and creamy and the steak was tender and flavor balanced. We will definitely be back to try out more of their menu and so will our pup!

The only reason I cant leave five stars is because the entire restaurant is actually on a covered patio, BUT aside from that everything else was give stars. First let me start off with Ashley,,,she was amazing!! There were two large parties and she still didn't miss a beat. She was so patient and gave us honest opinions about food selections on the menu. The food...Ashley helped us decide on the Persian Chick and chicken and waffles. Both were really tasty. We ordered duck fries to start and they were delicious. For dessert we shared the panna cotta. It was just ok. We also had a few cocktails that were good. Ok, back to the actual restaurant. It's kind if tucked away in a shopping center adjacent to a medspa. Although it is on the patio, it is cute. There's a lot of seating space. We went on a Sunday, during brunch. It was crowded, like i mentioned there were two parties, and still available seats. I thought this would just be a cute place that everyone goes to just because it's cute but has mediocre food. NOPE, it's cute, has good food and great service. I would recommend. Oh, one last thing I thought was worth mentioning. Before I left I asked Ashley if she had any suggestions on any nearby bars so we could watch the game. She didn't really know of any but when we walked out she made a point to run inside and grab another employee who was familiar with the area to come out and give us suggestions.

Came on a Friday night. The food was good but this place is not what it used to be. Our server was some blonde chick . Very inattentive. Waited forever just to get seated when we had a reservation. She said she was going to get our table ready but I saw she went to the back to mingle with the bartenders. (Bar was completely empty) finally someone else noticed us and seated us. She didn't check on us at all I had to ask to order several times . Up to the very end she finally came and started giving compliments to get a tip. Her service made me absolutely hate this place. I'll never come back here again. Paid 200$ for delicious food but horrible horrible service .

We came here before going to the night of the jack down the street. Food here was expensive! Our bill was crazy for a couple drinks and entrees. This would have been fine if I felt everything was extraordinary but I found they were mediocre. We got the pasta for the kids and it was a little bland. The drinks were good but originally we ordered an alcoholic drink and received a non alcoholic drink lol we ended up getting both! The atmosphere was cute but I don't think I will be returning.

Absolutely loved my visit to this restaurant! I came here today with a friend around 1 pm since we were early for an event we were heading to. To start off, the decor and aesthetics of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful. From the walls, the lights around the restaurant, to even the plates and forks on the table were super cute. We sat on the patio which has an airy feel. Service was wonderful as well. Our server Bryce was so friendly and helpful on the menu. It's pretty extensive but he was great in giving recommendations. He was also really attentive which we appreciated. For drinks, I ordered the raspberry bourbon sour which was absolutely delicious. For food, we shared the fries trio but it was one of the best things I have ever tasted. The fries were fried to perfection and the seasonings they used, ramen, Parmesan and original were so good. Due to the flavoring, I didn't even feel as if I needed to pair it with anything else. For dessert, we ordered the fried Oreos and requested a scoop of ice cream on the side. They were super yummy and the raspberry sauce for dipping was an amazing touch. I was super impressed and plan on coming back to dinner. I'm sure the ambience of the restaurant would be absolutely beautiful at nighttime.

Extremely over priced. What I paid for a party of four could easily been a party of six anywhere else. Didn't like the fact for a party of four a pre-determined tip was added. Nor was I presented with a copy of a receipt (just a paypad, without a list of charges to what was ordered). Ambiance is lovely for plastic plants. Swamp coolers nice touch for the outdoor patio. Food is tasty, but outrageously overpriced! I've eaten st the finest Steak joints in my day, Coast to coast, and all of them now seem reasonable to what Rose charged! Even Texas wouldn't charge this much!

    Cheers

Came in on a Saturday night around 8 pm on our last night in town. Was surprised at how not busy it was. We sat on the patio. There were about 10 -12 other tables. The beet salad was sooo good. It had plenty of beets, the dressing light and fresh, a few pomegranate seeds, the prefect flavor profile. Would totally order it again! The different lemonades I tried were really good: lavender, hibiscus and rose. The lavender was my favorite, followed by rose and hibiscus. My daughter loved her chai latte and her Rigatoni Bolognese. The decor is really pretty. Easily made reservations with OpenTable. Easy parking since it's in a strip mall. Prices for some entrees were higher than the amount of food you get. Staff were nice and helpful. Love the free lemonade and latte refills! Definitely a place to try!

The Father's Day tomahawk steak special was a great value for the price and the portion was huge. The steak was good, but compared to other tomahawks we've had, it wasn't quite as memorable, which is the only reason for the 4-star rating. The creamed spinach was amazing, and the mashed potatoes were delicious. What truly made this experience stand out was the customer service. David and, I believe, Lance were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Their hospitality elevated the entire experience. While dining, I noticed several guests stopping to thank them, give them hugs, and say goodbye personally. That says a lot about how well they treat their customers. If management sees this, please know these two are incredible assets to your team and deserve recognition. We decided to come back with friends but on a Wednesday night at 6:30 instead. Sat at a table in the area where the music was but it was very loud and tightly packed with tables and guests. I could barely hear my friends due to the loud conversations, loud laughter, and just the acoustic affects in the restaurant were bad from that. We ordered steak, sides, and thought baked potatoes but got mashed instead. After we ate dinner we asked the manager if we could seat outside for dessert instead due to the loud noises around us. He brought us there but we had to wait at the bar outside till we were seated took an additional 15-20 minutes. After seated it was better than inside with a nice decor too instead. Dessert was ok service good. For such a high-ended restaurant and pricy food it's only avarage, inside decor pretty but very and tightly packed with guests and loud especially for a week day night kind of unusual, I was disappointed think it's a bit overrated sorry to say. I think Flemings, Ruth Chris, or Morton's are better food wise for the same price and dining experience and not as loud too. Think what could make it better is to thin out the crowded packed affect in the main inside dining area would help a lot too, or, if we ever go back sit outside instead I recommend. The service and staff there were very nice, friendly, and attentive and worked hard during service though. So overall raiting is a 3. Tuesday music night inside was good though think because the band is set up where tables of guests would be so less talking and guests listening to the music instead. Hope they make some changes to there inside seating there for improvements will and could help overall.

I was searching for an elegant dinner spot on yelp and this place popped up. After seeing some pics of the food and the ambience, I quickly made the rezzy and my wife and I were on our way. As you come in, it's like you enter another world -- one of elegance and beauty. You can't help but notice perfect ambient lighting and modern vibes throughout the inside dine-in area and as you enter their huge gorgeous backyard patio, you just know that you're in the right place. The seating area there is massive, with very modern finishes and towards the rear of the patio you have the most beautiful water feature piece, that looks like a human-size vase, with water running down the vase and being met by fire at the base. Just one incredible architectural piece that creates that posh, contemporary ambiance. After taking in the breathtaking design of the spot, we finally sat down and ordered food. We tried the tuna tartare, squash blossoms appetizer and my wife got a seabass entree while I got their highly recommended vodka pasta. All of the food was absolutely incredible, from the freshness of tuna tartare, uniquely wonderful flavor profile of the squash blossoms , to the yummy vodka lumaconi pasta and the most mouth-watering seabass that I've ever tried in my life. I honestly never thought a fish could taste so good. The seabass was charred on the outside and just incredibly soft on the inside. As you barely touch the seabass with the fork, a piece of succulent seabass gets separated simply due to the natural gravity of the fork. The taste is perfect. It's like they somehow cooked it with large piece of butter on the inside. The incredible flavor profile and the consistency of each bite of this seabass, were simply unparalleled. And to add to all this awesomeness, the bed of risotto was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic as well. To finish off our meal, we decided to share their apple tart pastry and it too, was fresh, flavorful and that scoop of ice cream on top, made the pastry just perfect. This place hits a perfect trifecta, with its phenomenal modern design , incredible food and absolutely superb customer service. Our waiter Zach was extremely nice, helpful, attentive and he was just a perfect guide throughout tonight's culinary adventure. My wife and I are more than satisfied and can't wait to come to Casalena again!

However, in my two most recent visits, only the atmosphere has remained a highlight -- the service has declined significantly. My most recent visit was two nights ago, on Father's Day, for a celebratory dinner. Our server was curt and unwelcoming throughout the meal. When my glass of wine arrived, the server suggested I taste it first -- which I did -- and it was immediately apparent that the wine had turned. Having ordered the same wine many times before without issue, I was confident this particular bottle was off. When I asked our server if the bartender could open a fresh bottle, she agreed without hesitation. However, moments later, a gentleman I assumed to be the manager approached and informed me that a new bottle would not be opened, as the current one had only been opened the day before and was, in his opinion, fine. His only alternative was to offer the same varietal at a higher price point. I understand that restaurants may have policies regarding open bottles, but in all my years of dining out, I have never encountered an establishment that refused to replace a glass of wine a guest found unacceptable -- especially when the server herself had encouraged me to taste it for that very reason. This experience left a lasting negative impression, and unfortunately I will neither return nor recommend this restaurant going forward.

First, parking is rough. And by rough, I mean practically nonexistent. If valet is available, use it. If valet is full, good luck finding a spot nearby. The restaurant is much larger than it appears from the outside and has a great atmosphere for watching a game. The place was packed, but our server was outstanding. Given the crowd, especially during the World Cup match, the service was impressive and easily one of the highlights of the evening. The drink menu offers a large selection of beers and spirits. The cocktails were decent, though nothing particularly memorable. As for the food, it was mostly average. The pork belly tasted more like carnitas, which wasn't necessarily bad, just not what I expected. The cheese balls received mixed reviews at our table. I thought they could have used a little more seasoning, but I was in the minority on that one. The crab cakes were small and, for me, lacked the most important ingredient--crab. Opinions were split at the table, but they didn't work for me. The house chips had a nice texture, although the frying oil tasted like it may have been due for a change. The smash burger was decent but nothing special. The steak frites were okay; I believe it was hanger steak, so take that for what it's worth. The shredded beef sliders were also just okay. Overall, I'd definitely return if I was in the area to watch a game and have a few drinks. The atmosphere and service make it worth a visit. However, if food is your primary reason for going, there are better options nearby.

Whether you order…read moresomething on the breakfast side or lean more toward lunch, I've always been happy with my choice. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. A few weeks ago, I finally made it in for dinner for the first time, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. I can't remember exactly which nights they serve dinner, but it's well worth planning a visit. My partner and I ordered several dishes to share, and every single one was a hit. We started with the burrata and prosciutto appetizer with pesto, which was incredible. Paired with a glass of wine, a cocktail, and the complimentary house-made salt and vinegar chips, it would make for a perfect happy hour on its own. For our entrees and sides, we ordered the half chicken, roasted carrots, and dinosaur kale salad. The chicken tasted like it had been slow-cooked all day--tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The roasted carrots were outstanding, and even the kale salad felt special and thoughtfully composed. To finish the meal, we shared the sticky toffee pudding, which was one of the most memorable desserts I've had in a long time. We also tried two mocktails, both of which were creative, delicious, and fun. Sunrose continues to impress me whether I'm there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I'll definitely be back again and again.

The live band and background singers were amazing as well. There is plenty of street parking available. There's a chef providing food (I believe it rotates every week but I'm not sure). When I was there they had offerings like fries and wings. The garlic parm fries I tried were tasty and I wanted more. The bar was simple but the bartenders worked pretty fast. We ordered drinks 3 at a time so we wouldn't have to get up again and they were very efficient. I tried their margarita which was decent and not overly sweet. Don't worry I'm not a raging alcoholic, it was more so out of respect for the performer. They discourage walking around during the performances so everyone can see and enjoy no matter w The space itself is nice offering you indoor and outdoor space. The delicate hanging lights and plants are a nice touch, and the colorful lighting toward the stage area was very vibey. They also had hookah available, I'm not sure the cost. There's also a small digital Photo Booth at the entrance. The performances were great and so was the crowd. I'd love to come back another time and try more of the food and hear more live music. I loved it. This event has now moved to Andaz in West Hollywood
