The Chicago style burrito was ok. Had the carne asada. Shrimp cocktail was amazing the large. Taste was wonderful. Prices are good. Burrito cost between 6-8 bucks. Taco 1.50-200 bucks. Good authentic Mexican food here. read more

They don't sell liquor here, only beer. I ordered cheese dip and carnitas. Nothing to write home about, but good authentic Mexican food. Salsa is good and spicy (chips are thicker than I like) and they give you 3 sauces with your meal which are great! Helped spice my carnitas up. The cheese dip is just cheese. The food here is as authentic as you can get. We had carne asada tacos, cow cheek tacos ( I forgot the Spanish word for it) and a large shrimp cocktail. It was kinda late so we didn't want to order anything too heavy. Rosa's reminds me of any number of Mexican restaurants in LA. Of course we ate our food before a photo could be taken. Our server was sweet and attentive. The food came to our table in a timely manner. We will definitely come here again and try the burritos and maybe breakfast. BEWARE OF THIS TACO PLACE ! me & my friend ate here for the 2nd time . The first time was amazing the 2nd time me & my friend started vomiting after eating from here later on in the night . The salsa is very watery VERY ! . I came in last night and spent about $50. I loved this taco spot as i just moved down here from california. I haven't had any issues with this establishment until last night. The waitress had a blatant attitude towards me and my family, and when we were trying to inquire a question about an item we were ordering she seemed almost as if we were bothering her. I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years. the food is very good. But I have to travel for a while to get here which i don't mind doing since their food is very good. But today was the 3rd time in a year or two that they just closed abruptly (against posted hours), which means that I drove out of my way for NOTHING !!! Today they posted a sign they will close at 4:30 for a private party. It was not even 4:30 so I went in. She told me under no uncertain terms ...."CLOSED"!!! so I left. They don't need to worry about me ruining their private parties any more. I will never go here any more. There are other restaurants around that serve goo authentic tacos, that don't close against posted hours based on their own private needs. I am sooo angry right now. read more

Had high expectations after reading reviews . The cashier made a mistake on my order next thing you know the Cheif is coming out the kitchen complaining that he won't remake the burrito I asked for. I offered to pay for to have the correct burrito and he went ahead refunded me . Instead of making my burrito, leaving me in an awkward situation with an empty stomach. Bad service. Waited for 15 min. Another family walked in and seated themselves. We asked how we can order food. The server sent us to the desk to order and proceeded to take orders from the people who came in after us. Went there because of the good reviews but won't go again. I don't know if the food is good. If you're looking for "American" Mexican food, stay away. Here's why this is our new and always "go- to" for Mexican. Carnitas Taco - wasn't dry, as Carnitas can get near the end of the day. Shredded nicely with yummy cooked pieces so you knew it wasn't just pulled pork - two different tastes completely. Chorizo Taco - hubby had and said it was very very good. Corn tortillas - no break & stake, the were just right, chewy goodness that has FLAVOR! Tortilla Chips - thin, crunchy, fried, and tasting like CORN. Salsas - house salsa was perfect for me, but the three others they serve in jars with little spoons to door them out were excellent too. Hubby ate the two spicy ones, and I had the fresh green salsa - you could TASTE the fresh greenness of it. Sweet tea? But yes! We were tired and thirsty from the road - ordered the teas and they were good and fresh - and as any tea lover knows, tea can go "off" very quickly, often when it's not selling well. Not so, very nice. Burrito - didn't have one, and I still suspect the street tacos were the best (I love them with just chopped onion and cilantro) but hubby said it was also very good. Prices - ridiculous, they are cheap, cheap, cheap! Maybe because they aren't spending all their money on liquor license and cheap margaritas. In an attempt to find an authentic Mexican Restaurant, I researched those near me and checked the reviews. I was pleased with the customers opinion. I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito which is typically in steak the form of steak, it had a very small portion old ground beef.
