There were a few seasonal items that captured a spring aesthetic. Everything was packed well and we were out quickly. *Carrot Cake: one of their seasonal offerings and my favorite of the bunch. It was not the moistest cookie, but it tasted the most balanced. There was a subtle sweetness, although I would have loved to see more elements of a traditional carrot cake highlighted, such as raisins or warm spices. *Cherry Scone: reflective of the fleeting cherry blossom season. My party was split on the texture, with some disliking how dense and heavy it tasted. I personally did not find it dry or overly crumbly. The cherry flavor was light, and it colored the dough nicely and paired well with a darker beverage. *Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip: subtle coconut shavings with barely noticeable caramel. The chocolate chips were by far the most dominant ingredient and flavor. Apparently one of their classic flavors, but it was my least favorite. I was actually more impressed by their seasonal offerings, which is disappointing since those rotate out. Their classics are popular for a reason, but they do not feel refined enough to justify the pricing compared to other bakeries.
