Loved this cute spot. We tried the green chilaquiles, waffle plate, quesabirria tacos, and the pancake plate. Everything was so good and flavorful. Will definitely be back to try more menu items. I am so glad that Rosi's Cafe finally opened! The Rowlett/Garland area is so consumed with every fast food chain you can think of, so having a new local restaurant serving fresh and authentic food is refreshing. I decided to try their breakfast tacos, which come with a total of three with a side of potatoes and beans. They offer chorizo and egg, bacon and egg, carnitas and egg, brisket and egg or a potato and egg taco, which comes with cheese. Since this was my first visit, I tried three different tacos (chorizo, bacon and brisket) using flour tortillas. The homemade tortillas were so delicious and the perfect size for a taco. Surprisingly, the bacon and egg was my favorite! The brisket was a little dry, but I loved the flavor. Unfortunately, I didn't try the chorizo because I was stuffed; however, my mom had it and said that it was her favorite. The breakfast taco plate was reasonably priced at $10, especially for the amount of food. I will definitely give Rosi's another visit and try other menu items. read more

Go in and make this nice, clean and little Mexican place your next go to! We actually did an order to go, but next time definitely coming back to eat in! As I waited, I noticed the manager on duty going around and asking customers if their meals were good. Lots of people were working in the kitchen! That's always a good sign! We ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and a torta with chicken. The breakfast burrito with it's house potatoes were legit! Their tortillas are VERY good. You won't need to add butter or anything to them because the taste is great! We tried the menudo and I really liked it. Everything is reasonably priced, and the daily specials are both weekdays and weekend. Breakfast ends st 10:30 even on weekends which is a little disappointing, but it's always easy to find something tasty and filling. Lots of meats and veggies, so basically something for everyone. I'm particularly fond of the grilled salmon with Diabla sauce. Their soups are fantastic, and I'm not usually a soup person. I have always been a tortilla chip fan, and Rosi's are best in town. They are much stronger than others, great for dipping, but still light and crisp.​ Table service and counter service is great, and they recently added online ordering. The location is a little odd, being a former dry cleaners which was minimally remodeled, but it's clean, comfortable, and attractive enough. They've even got a mini market on the side. read more

Such a great little spot that we've really enjoyed coming to for breakfast. We've also purchased corn tortillas to take home. Everything I've tried on the menu has been tasty and served with refried beans and soft cubed potatoes. My husband's favorite is the red chilaquiles. My beef fajitas tasted a little ruined today. Not fresh and they had a "spoiled meat" taste to them. The guacamole was not fresh at all and it was almost black when they brought it out to me. Even my sour cream was spoiled. Why would the cook send out guacamole that looked black??? My rice and beans were refrigerator cold to the touch and I couldn't even eat them. It was a very, very unpleasant meal today. This place was not busy at all today so my food should have come out fresh, good, hot and fast. After Sunday service, our family looks for a place to enjoy breaking bread with an authentic Mexican flavor in North Texas. Recently another Mexican restaurant came into operation and it's very good with a true Mexican flavor. First, the restaurant is small and parking is an issue. As you enter, stay to the right entrance door to eat. The left will take you to where they bake tortillas and pan. The restrooms are located in the back by the kitchen. You are given a paper menu and you order at the counter where you'll pay for your meal. The menu is not vast yet it includes many Mexican items not found regularly in North Texas like liquados, fruit salads and sweet bread. On the day we went, I had menudo, Aaron had French toast, Mathew had tacos and mom had omelet while Cashew had fruit and bread. The dinning room is small and it is hard to fit big parties yet the food is spot on. The menudo did not have the corn but the soup part was flavourful. The portion of the tacos and the omelet was good. We had some mess ups with the order but the servers made up for it. The price with tip was close to $50 and very good. When I first walked in they immediately gave us a bad look and attitude, they have no manners and are very rude. The food has no flavor and they throw your food in your face, this place is NOT worth your money what's so ever. We found this little North Garland gem recently when we were looking for a new breakfast spot. We've been twice and loved everything! Breakfast tacos, avocado toast with egg, breakfast potatoes, menudo and the best pancakes you'll find. They also have homemade salsas & tortillas you can purchase along with Mexican pastries. my husband went this morning with my 2 daughters , each got 2 eggs ONLY and he got chilaquiles plate and coffe and chocolate milk and came up to 50 dollars! And at that the lady taking there order told him there was no chocolate milk until he told him weve been there before and they make it for her! we usually pay 50 dollars for all 4 of us and he paid that just them 3 only. NOT GOING BACK HERE AGAIN!!! tell your waitresses to attend better and if theirs no chocolate milk why do it the first time and tell us no when we go back for like the 6th time!!! read more
