Service incredible. I placed a to go order , I drank an horchata as I waited. When the food was ready and it was my time to go, he offered me a refill. Amazing! Salsa verde perfectly spiced and consistency. I could have easily eaten 10 more breakfast tacos. Will be back very soon. It was a nice aesthetic inside, friendly people, fantastic food.

If you've forgotten what it's like to get great service at a restaurant, you must come here! From the minute you walk in, you are treated as family. The employees are friendly, and they actually smile when they talk to you. This is become so rare these days that I wanted to mention that first. Now on to the food... It's really, really good. I'm pretty sure there's not a bad dish on the menu. I had the Caldo de Res. I ordered a small bowl and it was a very large portion. Typically, the Caldo I've ordered at other restaurants has a flavorless broth. But this one is delicious and even has a little bit of a spicy kick to it. The bowl was packed with meat and a variety of vegetables. It came with a side of rice and a basket of tortillas. My husband had the enchilada plate and it came with four enchiladas, rice and beans. The only thing they don't serve here that is typical with many Mexican. Restaurants is tortilla chips. But, they do have 2 different homemade salsa's and corn tortillas. Our server checked on us at least three times while we were there, and seemed very eager to please. They really wanted us to enjoy our meal! We will definitely be coming here often.

Fantastic service here. They must have checked on my wife and me 7 times. The food is more authentic Mexican and less Tex-Mex. No chips and hot sauce. But they have fresh corn Tortillas. The green and red sauce have some kick. My chicken enchiladas was amazing! My wife's Caldo was a large serving. I will definitely be coming back to try the Mole. read more

It's tasty for Mexican breakfast menudo is good but does not have hominy. The waitress claims that they are from Mexico and that apparently don't add hominy to their menudo. I would just say that when you are a restaurant in Texas nobody cares how people prepare menudo in Mexico, in Texas we eat it with hominy. The pork pozole was good kinda like a fast food joint it was made with small pork riblets with bone in, tasty but it's good for a quick fast bite. read more

This restaurant is a jewel! They offer authentic Mexican food which includes menudo! The menudo is FANTASTIC with a great amount of meat. The tacos are the best street tacos ~ and I'm very particular about tacos. I'm really impressed, and we'll continue to visit! read more

The chicken was lightly breaded, the mozzarella was fresh, and every bite delivered. We awarded this dish our Best of the Best for Chicken Parmesan, and that is something we reserve for dishes that truly separate themselves from the rest. Service was excellent throughout the night. So many things on the menu I wish I could have tried, but I they are closed m-w and I leave Thursday! Service was wonderful, menu items explained and recommended. Located in unassuming part of Wylie/St.Paul the restaurant is smack down in the middle of the strip along other places I wanted to try. I ordered their Carne Frita con Arroz. Flavorful chunks of pork which came with fried banana, rice, and beans.. Even though I've never had an actual Puerto Rican food, I expected a whole lot of flavor just by reading about cuisine. I really enjoyed the carne frita and thought it is almost similar to lechon kawali (Filipino dish) but this much leaner part of the pig. Service was very friendly, they'll answer any question you might have especially if you are unfamiliar with the names of some of the dishes. This is a family ran business, you'll feel that upon walking in. Very homey and welcoming. You'll be transported to PR while dining here.
