If you want a PERFECT Chocolate Martini, Go to Spencer's Corner Bar Tuesday thru Friday after 4pm and/or Saturday from 11am to 4pm and have DAVE CRUMLEY aka DAVID CRUMLEY make it at the bar. I have been to many places on Wilton Drive and Fort Lauderdale. Dave makes the BEST CHOCOLATE MARTINI that I have EVER HAD!!! Don't let anyone else make it but him!!! Spencer's Corner Bar is a solid spot and one I'd definitely go back to. The drinks are really well made and the staff is friendly and attentive -- that combination alone makes it worth visiting and honestly carries the experience. The food is good too -- well prepared and nothing to complain about. But I'll be honest, it's missing something. I just can't quite put my finger on what it is. It's not bad by any means, it just doesn't have that wow factor that makes you obsess over a dish after you leave. There's room to grow there and I think with a little more edge on the menu it could really shine. Still a great bar to hang at. Spencer's Corner Bar is much more like a restaurant or pub. With an inside bar plus indoor and covered outdoor tables, it's a nice casual spot to eat and drink on the Drive. Outdoor heat lamps are fired up when necessary. Service staff are all friendly and welcoming. The menu features more than bar food, with hot and cold sandwiches and entrees. My favorite is the Chicken Pot Pie. Made with chunks of chicken, fresh veggies and homemade pastry crust, the pie is delicious and filling. I'd give a hard pass to the Fish & Chips. The fish came out very over fried, overcooked and dry. Friends agreed and wouldn't help me with it. Luckily I had also ordered French Onion Soup. I can't pass this up. It's piping hot and full of melted onions and cheese. Also, it's not too salty as many places easily overpour the sodium. Another favorite is the homemade meatloaf. Comfort food just like Mom used to make. No wonder Spencer's is so popular. There will likely be a wait for dinner tables most evenings. Happy hour is every day of the week. Okay, so I feel this is goi g to seem bias. I love Spencer's Corner Bar. This awesome venue is nestled in Wilton Manors. Yes, the gaybor hood of Fort Lauderdale. That should not deter anyone looking for a great outdoor or in door dinning. The food is always good. I would believe the best Ruben and fries anywhere. I am a Ruben snob. The burgers are meaty and delicious made to order. I just love the mid century decor and the friendly service. They never disappoint. Oh, I almost missed mentioning the onion soup....yum! First time dining there and enjoyed the vibe very much. Nice helpful staff and liked that was full of locals. The food was very good and very nice size portions. Only complaint was the meatloaf was a tad bit cool. Could have been heated up more for my liking but wasn't cold enough to send back. Great flavors! Stopped by on a bustling Wednesday evening for a light bite. Many friends told me that Spencer's is the best bang on The Drive and I concur. Immediately greeted and offered a two top up front. From what I could see, the place was packed inside and out (patio!). The efficient server brought our iced teas and took our orders. Me: French onion soup and crab cake app. He: French onion soup and a wedge salad. The soup was yummy with added salt + pepper. My crab cake was crabby enough and my dining partner raved about his salad. Can't wait to return for entrees. Spencer's looks to be a favorite amongst the locals. They do a fine job. Recently I went to Spencer's for a meal and I loved the food and the drinks. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. I got the Grilled Atlantic salmon fillet which came with a brown sugar & Dijon mustard glaze, served with rice and fresh broccoli. Delicate, light and delicious. The drinks were also well made and reasonably priced. They have a few parking spots right in front of the restaurant for customers. read more

Server was a bit aloof and it was not busy. Chicken sandwich had no flavor, TONS of onions and was saved by the fries. Didn't eat even half of the sandwich. My husband had fish & chips. AGAIN zero flavor, even the tartar sauce was bland, how do you even do that? I was in Management for over 30 years in both high end restaurants and hotels. The server didn't even ask if we needed a box to take "most" of our meals home. The only reaction to my remarks about the bland food was sorry. Nothing else. This well established restaurant has regular clientele in a relaxed setting great for friends and small groups. I ordered the gazpacho which was just the right blend of cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, bell peppers wish was a pleasure to the taste buds. The fresh tomorrows and cucumbers were center stage in this fresh cool refreshing dish. I also ordered the mac and cheese side dish and the plate did not disappoint. The high quality cheese they use and the al dente macaroni, the toasty top with bread crumbs makes this a hearty delicious dish that can hold up to the finest places I have eaten at. Spencer's is a pretty solid and reliable place to get a meal. The outside area with the overhang is great. There is also half of the bar which is outside - I give that a brilliant rating. The restaurant seems to be sufficiently staffed so service is good or at least on my visit. While I did not try the cocktails they looked fun. My salmon was cooked fine and the accompanying vegetables demonstrated that yes I do occasionally eat something green. read more

June 2025, came here for the first time and Eli our Server was wonderful, he took great care of our table. The place is cute inside and they have outdoor seating. I ordered the Meatloaf with brown gravy on-top with mashed potatoes and onion rings - all delicious. Meatloaf of fresh and easy to cut with a fork. My friend ordered the Chicken Pot Pie that was a nice portion size, loaded with chicken and vegetables, she said her meal was delicious as well. We ended our meal with homemade Bread Pudding with white chocolate sauce that out of this world the Bread Pudding I've had in a long time. Also, there is parking in front and around the area. Great spot on the Drive for lunch. Stopped in today for a grilled Reuben. Comes with French fries which BTW were fresh out of the fryer. The sandwich had so much delicious lean corned beef I could eat only half! Of course I have leftover for later!!! With a glass of Sauvignon blanc, the bill is only $22. Free limited parking but plenty of street parking available. You can eat inside or under the covered patio making it a perfect people watching sport. Nice and friendly neighborhood place! I've been here several times but tonight the service was subpar. The host went to see if a table was available for 2. The host motion for us to follow them to a table. We sat down at the table but did not give us any menus. The server, Carlos, came over and took our drink order. Either he didn't seem to care there were no menus for us nor did he ask if we needed menus to order food. The server brought our drinks, but didn't ask if we needed menus or if we were only going to have drinks. After waiting another 20 minutes for our server to come within earshot of us, I had to ask him for menus. I realized that it was the host fault, but the server should have asked us if we needed menus so we could order food. read more

Having eaten here several times, I was extremely disappointed with food and service last evening. At best, its really a diner, with some average or slightly better food, but my partners salmon was overcooked, nor did the server ask about temp. The veggies were tasteless and mashed potatoes from hot water with no seasoning. To top it off, the servers who were cut, sat directly in the booth behind us, rolling silverware so loud, we had a hard time hearing ourselves. The owners are nice guys, but maybe become a bit desensitized to the customer experience. This is a great place for a common meal - sandwiches, salads, wraps, beer and wine. The sandwiches are very thick. I had the corned beef on rye with potato salad. Thick layers of corned beef on bakery rye bread. The potato salad is homemade as are most of the menu items. The wine pour is generous at about 9 ounces and only costs $6. They have a nice outdoor eating space that is sheltered from the sun. The property includes an indoor and outdoor bar. Full bar with all cocktails. Our server, Carlos, was so attentive and pleasant. Prices are great. My sandwich with potato salad was $14. You can't go wrong here! read more
