Grabbing my items I continued to browse. I ended up with an armload of items and made my way to the front of the store. The line here can be intimidating. Like so many places like this, the move at a snail's pace. It doesn't help that the customers in front of you just don't pay attention. Even with a majority of the registers manned, it still took a while to get through the line. The staff I did deal with were nice. Just was pleasant during the whole interaction. They sell clothing for women, men, and children. They also sell women's shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, and hair accessories. I didn't peruse the children and men's section so not sure what accessories they offer. IMO, a bit on the pricier side if items are not on clearance. There is a small selection of clearance item in the back of the store. Normally I only shop in petites given that I am only 5' tall so was pleasantly surprised that I found a sweater where the sleeves were the perfect length for me. The sweater is so cute with a big red heart and horizontal stripes. It was originally $89.50, but I purchased it for only $3.49 after 70% clearance was applied to the sale price with an additional $10 off after signing up for their rewards program called JC Passport. What a great way to start the weekend. I LOVE a good deal! The store was clean and organized and the associate who checked me out was super friendly. This thrift store has mostly used items, but you'll also find new items with the original tags still on them. They have apparel and shoes for men, women, and kids. Additionally they have home goods including toys, kitchenware, appliances, electronics, linen, books, sporting goods, and much more. I was pleasantly surprised to see a number of designer and high quality apparel with the original tags still on them. While other apparel items looked only lightly worn. Among the brands I saw were Vince Camuto, Coach, White House Black Market. Most of the apparel were between $5-$20. In perusing the dresses, I was impressed at how stylish they were. Most of the shoes I saw looked worn and dirty. I wouldn't purchase shoes unless they were brand new. I didn't buy anything this time, but will definitely come back to shop for apparel.

The backpacks that I looked at were a bit larger and heavier than what I am looking for. I perused several sandals and the first pair of Teva sandals I saw were ginormous. The sandals look like they were swallowing my feet. The sandals at this retailer are likely meant more for practicality and comfort rather than their style. I found a second pair of Teva sandals that weren't as wide and fit my feet better. They are not the cutest, but they felt comfortable when I tried them on. The staff are amazing. I was greeted by three employees. The first one greeted me when I entered the store. The second one asked if I needed anything when I passed by him while I was shopping. The last one Krissy asked if I needed help when I was looking at the sandals. When I came to pick up my dress, I tried it on and it wasn't as fitted as I was hoping for. I talked to the owner, Le, and said it wasn't to my satisfaction and he was willing to alter it for no additional charge. I have been to other seamstresses who will charge for additional alterations if you are dissatisfied with their service. Although the alterations were higher than other tailor shops I have gone to, their customer satisfaction compensates for it.
