Just before Christmas, I purchased several items from Ross on Sr. Citizens Day! The cashier forgot to give me my discount, even though I had asked him for it. When I read my receipt after I returned home, I realized he had not given me the discount! 2 days after Christmas I returned to the store to collect my discount. I was rudely told; how do I know that was a Tuesday, questioning my integrity ! When they finally decided that it was a Tuesday and then went on to refuse to give me the discount! I am 83 years old and disabled, and did not expect to be treated that way ! I would not recommend shopping at Ross!!! read more

After going to many stores, searching for work clothes, I found Ross had the best selections and prices! I've had a bad experience shopping at The Creator's Closet in town and found Ross to be the complete opposite! Great prices and nice staff. I'm so glad we have this awesome store in our little town! read more

Been to many Ross stores (mostly in California) and this one was definitely the best. Had lots of inventory and the store appeared well maintained. Customer service blows doors on what you run into in other stores. Happy to find that friendly employees arent a thing of the past everywhere. read more

I purchased a shirt for my husband for $22 for Christmas.It didn't fit and we misplaced the receipt.My husband took back the shirt today and the price dropped since it was purchased at Christmas to $14.Ross marks up there prices for the holidays. How about Loss Prevention at your store for us customers. We get screwed for $8 and have to be fine with it I guess. Love it! Only been here twice so far, but literally found exactly what I needed both times! That is a huge score. Right on Ross! This store reminds me of how Ross used to be way back when in the late 80's early 90's before they all became serious dumps filled with junk. Omg ! If I can remember her name I'll put it. I went here today and got laundry baskets/bins one of the bins (smaller or the 2 I bought) did not have a price tag . However, the bigger one did. I think her name was Suzanne . All I know she was heavy set. She puts the smaller bin inside the bigger bin to guess how much the smaller one costs. She decides to charge me 17.99 for both saying they're the same size.... um no they are not! So she asks another cashier and is walked through the process. Now how in the world was the other lady able to clearly determine that they weren't the same size from her own register.???!! Girl stop being lazy and work, you have a shift to do and issues to resolve. Don't play games with me. I actually work for my money ... read more

This Ross is a pretty decent store. It's Ross, we aren't talking about Saks 5th Avenue or Neiman Marcus. The workers are all very nice and polite and the selection is ok. I don't shop here often but when I do, I usually leave with something that I say "wow I'm glad I came in today". As far as the ladies manning the dressing room, who cares if they check your clothes. We are in grants pass, have you seen the scumbags in this town? I'd be strip searching all of these meth heads. If they didn't, in grants pass, this store would leave town. read more

I love Ross. I always have, but I love the deals and unique finds, not the staff. Managers, and customer service return people are short, nasty and obviously hate there jobs and life in general. Which doesn't surprise me, employees have to show the manager the inside of purses and bags before Leaving? How awful you can't trust your employees Ross, maybe do a better job hiring people that are worth a damn. read more

I really like Ross for the fact that they tend to carry name brands for discounted price. The only thing I'm not fond of at this location is the fact that all of the jeans that they seem to have that or lowrise were in the teen sizes are straight leg jeans. There's no variety anymore unless I go to the women's sizes (2, 4, 6, etc.) and those tend to go up to my bellybutton LOL. They have a great variety of shirts and men's clothing though. I don't know why people get so offended with the poor girls at the dressing room. They're only doing their job. You've obviously never worked in retail if you don't know that you have to count the items when they go in and when they come out of the dressing room. People need to stop getting so butt hurt and realize that's how companies prevents their items from getting stolen. They obviously can't discriminate and say "Hey, you look like you're going to steal so I'm singling you out but I'm not going to do to that person over there." That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. So, why not just play it safe and do it to everyone. People need to get over themselves. read more

So I get that you make people put their items on the rack when checking into the dressing room to make sure they aren't "sneaking" in extra items, but when I come out with the same 3 items and try to hand you the two I don't want and keep the one I do and you make me put them all back on the rack and then look inside the shirts........ Uh so you think it's OK to treat me like I'm stealing when the same 3 items I took in came right back out? No thanks, I'll be spending my money else wear. I have a job and don't need to steal a $7 item. I don't know about you but I don't like being treated like a thief for no reason. read more

People need to get over themselves about how the store operates. They have store rules for a reason. If it was your store you'd want your employees acting exactly as they were supposed to do. I shop at the Ross in Grants Pass all the time and NEVER have had a problem. The employees have always been friendly, the service fast even when they were swamped. They store is neat and clean. All I can say is if you really don't like shopping here....go ahead and go somewhere else. More time and stuff for me; and the folks who appreciate good products and good service. read more

very good selection for a Ross. ended up spending $20 which is a lot for me at Ross! good selection of kitchen wares...so got a cutting board we desperately needed! was packed at 11am on a sunday morning.......with only 2 checkouts open. anyway, if you like Ross you'll like this location. read more

My kids and I went to our local Ross store yesterday morning. I was there to get a few things and the boys were lagging behind. A man working in the store walked past them and told them "you know that cameras are watching you today right?". My kids are Honor Roll students, members of the National Honor Society, Young Marines and in Leadership Classes. For an associate of your store to walk past them and pass judgement on them, assuming that they would even consider STEALING something is absolutely asinine! If he saw my children doing something wrong then I would expect him to say something. There are a lot of children I'm sure who do come in and steal but for him to expect this behavior from mine is unacceptable! I put down the items that I was going to buy & walked toward the exit. The one lady working did apologize and when I stated that they lost a sale over this, the same guy said "whatever mama". Really???? read more
