Today the Manager on Duty told me there is no customer service number to call nor is there a customer service email to contact higher ups.. Cora had 3 employees follow and watch me look a luggage. Decent selection, and mostly one of each like most Ross stores. Good deals beckon the avid hunter. One of the checkout staff during the holiday season was grumpy though and kept lamenting about how returns customers needed to know which bill went with which item and so on - even when everything was provided. Yeah, I don't care that I'm admitting I've shopped here several times. Hey - they have really cheap home goods and tops! LOL. Every now and then, they'll have Harajuku Lovers bags for super cheap and I've seen some cute watches in the glass case by Betsey Johnson, Juicy Couture and Guess. Only thing I like about this Ross is that it's never super crowded so it's decently cleaner than others I've been to. However, the selection is blah. This is a great place to shop for gifts for people; like for coworkers or for last minute things. So why the 2 stars you ask? Every time I come here... EVERY FREAKIN TIME, I'm waiting in line for at least 20 f@#King minutes because there's only ONE damn cashier. I swear, there will be 30 people in line and just one slow ass cashier. It's stupid too because I see hella other workers fixing hangers or just standing around not doing shit. It's like, HELLO hop on a FUCKING register! I'm not the biggest fan of this Ross, or really any Ross for that matter. Ross tends to be cluttered and disorganized, and the items aren't that great either. You can get much better items (in terms of quality) at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. Also, the lines move much faster at other stores. This Ross lacks a clear and distinct line, so having people rudely cutting the queue is not uncommon. Regardless of my grievances, it's the deals that are what draw me back every now and again. If I need something cheap and know Ross stocks it, like, say, a bed-set with comforter for under $30 or some sort of luggage for under $50, I'll drop by here. Otherwise, I'll just stick to my preferred marked-down stores. read more

Well, if you know what to expect at a Ross / Marshalls / TJ Max, then this one is pretty good. Not too messy, I've seen some bad ones, but it's not as nice as tjm. I'm not even sure if they are all owned by the same company (kinda like an old navy / gap / banana republic deal). anyway, i went in looking for a shoe rack, they're much cheaper here, surprisingly, than the walmart in the same shopping area. only 10 bucks, and it's expandable too. what a deal. the funny thing is while i was looking for a show rack, i ran into an ottoman / calf massager by homemedics just chillin in a random corner. normal retail was 130 but they sold it for 50 bucks. i carried that badboy to the register, asked them to open it and it was brand new. i got a fat discount just cuz the packaging had a few holes in it. my feet are thanking me for it right now =) read more

This is my go to Ross since it's so close to where I live. Unfortunately it doesn't have as much merchandise as other Ross' because it gets pretty packed. For the most part it's clean and employees are nice. But today I was in line and it was pretty slow due to the system being down and there was a woman in front of the line asking one of the employees if they could open another cashier to speed up the line. The employee was clearly irritated and snapped at the woman basically saying no. Retail is hard but I don't think it was right to snap back at the lady who was asking kindly. This Ross always has things in stock you will want to buy, things you have to have, things you MUST NOT go on in life without. What we can live without is the fact that it's been 5 years since I've been coming here and they STILL have yet to figure out a line situation that works for the lunch rush. Is it one line or two? and WHY on EARTH are there only 2 cashiers? If there are 3? It's only a trick because 1 is about to go on a break... or they are helping someone with jewelry... OR WORSE... they are just hanging out up there without a cash drawer to torture everyone waiting in line. If you DO decide you wanna stop in over your lunch break. Be sure and give yourself a patient 30 minutes to wait in line and get back to your car... YES, it takes that long if you are there between 11:45am and 1:30pm. read more

Very rarely do I find something for myself here, you have to really go digging through the racks to find something, my wife on the other hand finds a lot of her clothes here for reasonable prices. You can also find a lot of good stuff for the home, such as mirrors, picture frames, and various other things for good prices as well. read more

This Ross is always super picked over and seems really unorganized. It makes it really hard to shop and find anything, it is one of the closest Ross' to me, so it is convenient, but definitely not a first choice. I also find that other Ross stores carry more hip as up to date clothing. I found some okay scores in their JRs, but after taking them home and retrying them on, they were not cute at all. I was trying to find a cute dress for going out And found absolutely nothing but granny dresses or teeny bopper dresses. The shoes and home applicants at this store are probably the best departments. I recommend going to the Ross at these locations instead if your liking for apparel; -Sunnyvale -Santa Clara - campbell***** that's he best :) read more

I hate this type of store. Haaaate 'em. Somehow, the only one I get suckered into is this particular Ross. Without fail, any time I visit this particular strip mall, whoever I'm with will notice that *gasp* there is a Ross! My friends on this side of the bay can't resist a bargain hunt, it seems. I've spent too many hours standing around watching friends try on mountains of crappy clothes here and for that alone, I deduct a star. I deduct the other two because I've never EVER purchased or witnessed any of my accompanying friends purchase a single item here. Nothing ever fits right, everything has been tried on ten too many times (ie: is dirty and/or stinky) and as cheap as the stuff may be - somehow that ill-fitting skirt just isn't worth the $10 that seemed so cheap before you tried it on. Management please retrain your staff. Staff here are incredibly rude. I witnessed cashier, Trina say to another customer "hello, I've been calling you several times" when the layout of the line did not allow customer to see cashier. These employees were making snide remarks in front of customers to each other and laughing. This is unacceptable. I'm sure there are plenty of people during this pandemic in need of a job that would smile and greet customers happily, please hire some of these HAPPY people so that you can retain your customers. read more

Love the home goods, men's clothes, sometimes pajamas, and children's toys. Some of my finds: Van Huesen Wool coat for $30, a bunch of Melissa and Doug toys for $15 or under, Ralph Lauren PJ set for $17, and women's fleece PJs for $10. Everything else is pretty atrocious and you'd be better off going to Marshalls. However, no love for the ridiculous lines. There's one cashier for customer service and another for regular purchases, IF YOU'RE LUCKY! The few times I've gone, there were about 10 people in front of me and one register open, while the other sales associates were walking around. The only way to avoid these lines is to go at like 10 am because, you know, it's not like you have to work or anything. read more

I feel very bad for the security team at this location. I have heard that currently elderly abuse is a topic of discussion at the moment yet when I happen to drop by; it seems that they are the ones guarding the exit. It would also be helpful to reduce the number of people in the store since that is what is causing Covid numbers to skyrocket up again too...I hope this reaches the County of Santa Clara to re-enforce these restrictions and check people are actually wearing mask as well too. Wow this place has mostly things for womens. I went here just browsing around while my family was at borders and best buy. I looked at the shirts and the jackets. I was looking but nothing really caught my eye. They have a lot of adidas track jackets so if you're into that style you should go here. Most of the things are random brands but like some stuff is good. Just gotta look through the racks and find something you like. You can get good bargains. Yea there are some things i would get though. SOmetimes they would have some sick stuff. Just go check it out once in a while read more

Worst customer service ever. Went there 2 weeks back to back just because it was on the way to our destination. I didn't get the associates name but she was hopelessly rude. First time encountering her she wasn't even wearing a mask. How could you be working there and not wearing a mask. So unprofessional. I forgot to mention I was with my mom. Second time around we went just to return a few things as well as purchase some, second time around we got the same associate. My mom ended up last minute changing her mind about not wanting an item so I went and put it back for her. Came back to the cashier and she immediately gave me attitude "go get it and bring it back it doesn't belong there." Well damn okay. I was heated at that point but I resisted saying anything. While my mom was going through the transaction the cashier rudely told my mom to take off the hangers. I get that it helps to make the transaction faster but she doesn't have to be so rude about it. I can see her rolling her eyes at us and trying to get us out of there as fast as she can. Overall worse place to ever shop. Avoid it if you can. read more

I guess it's a bit of a guilty pleasure. You don't want to admit you shop there, but you know you're going to take a peek and usually end up walking out with something. I have visited this Ross many times since I've moved to the area, being a newbie I wasn't quite sure what I was getting in to. Yeah the isles are usually messy (ie. SHOES), the lines can get long, and the pickins can be slim, but it really is worth a look. I've found some serious deals here on brand name clothing items, luggage (Liz Claiborne), shoes, purses, bedding, and sunglasses (Cole Haan). For the bargain-hunter, this is heaven, and well worth digging through the nasty to get to the amazing. Good luck! read more

I've been going to this Ross location since I was in High school and never had a problem. Until now. I was browsing around and I've notice loss prevention was following me. At first I played it off thinking oh they just doing their job but it came to a point that tthe guy was literally followed me to every section of the store which was so blatantly obvious. I ask the guy, hey can I help you cause you seem to have a keen interest on following me and he said I'm just doing my job. Mind you there were multiple other people at the store but since I'm a particular skin color I guess I presented more of a risk then others. So I checked out and I ask the cashier if I can talk to their manager to my suprise the manager said oh he does that to every one including me . I came in with my family to look for clothes to wear for an interview and everything was going pretty decent as usual. The worker for the fitting rooms was constantly distracted talking to other customers, not acknowledging that I didn't want 4 of my clothes after trying them on, I had to put them away myself. Also, when I was going to buy my clothes, the cashier Rosa on register 4 was very rude. She yelled at the people in line asking them to "remove the hangers on your clothes" when that is obviously apart of her job. She rushed my purchase by throwing me my items all over the counter and into my hands pretty harshly when I told her I didn't want to have a bag. She totally had the "hurry up and get out of the store" vibe to her, very rude. My experience tonight pretty much sucked. read more
