I immediately stopped the install and contacted them. They wanted me to wait 3 weeks before they would send someone out to inspect it. I decided to not wait because I didn't want a floor that was not waterproof. I took pictures of everything and save all the damaged pieces. After submitting my warranty claim, they never sent anyone out, and denied me based on the pictures I submitted. They made up a story about how I must have a water leak under my floor. The manager "Jared" promised me that he would give me free transition strip for my new floor that I bought. Then a week later he said that he never said that. I will never shop here again, and I tell all my customers about my experience and tell them not to shop here either. Typical corporate America not caring about you. Don't shop here, you've been warned.

The juxtaposition of the store's luxurious, inviting decor with the indifferent, almost cold demeanor of the staff creates an unsettling contrast. Weird vibe here. I left without making a purchase. I do want to point out that the City Home store on 1101 SE 3rd Ave. inPortland doesn't share this vibe. I'll just go there next time.

The representative was slow to respond, couldn't clearly explain why the pickup date changed, and after a lengthy conversation claimed the order had been updated and would be available for pickup that day. When I asked a follow-up question, the chat was abruptly closed. I then called the store. The first employee I spoke with was not particularly friendly or helpful. Before I could fully explain why I was calling, I was interrupted and spoken over, then placed on hold without any explanation. A second employee eventually took the call and confirmed the item was not actually in the store and that I would need to wait. When I began explaining my frustration with the experience and why the changing pickup date had impacted my plans, there was still no effort to explain what had happened or acknowledge the inconvenience. After I mentioned that I would rather cancel the order, it was canceled immediately without any attempt to address the issue or offer an alternative solution. What bothered me most wasn't the delay itself--things happen. It was the complete lack of communication, explanation, or concern from the three different people I spoke with. No one could tell me why the date changed, no one seemed interested in helping, and no one appeared to care that I had chosen Lowe's based on the promised pickup timeline.
